I worked closely with Kyle Northrop. He was the absolutely most professional and attentive project manager. He was always very responsive to every call, text and communication. He really held my hand through the whole process. There was absolutely no pressure sales from this company. They just replaced my roof and they will be coming back to do the siding on my house. I found TJR Construction professional and very reasonable in cost for my projects. They showed up when they said they would and completed my roof in one day. They also cleaned up so well that in the end I never knew they were here. Would highly recommend them for a roofing job. Thank you Kyle and TJR construction!!!

Toby and Matt were amazing! Very efficient and organized. Work was done on my roof after a tree fell on it. The job was done meticulously. So happy I chose them. Definitely would recommend!

Had a big wind event last year. Half my shingles ended up in the woods! I called TJR and they were there that morning. They got the tarp up quickly and I had a new roof as soon as insurance approved it. They did all the legwork all I had to do was sign. Professional job and the yard was spotless when they finished. Highly recommended! I'll be scheduling a new sliding door with them before winter.

Couldnt be happier... Ive used them twice in emergency situations. My rubber roof blew off my sun porch during a wind storm and Toby and his crew were here right away and repaired my roof for a great price right away before any water damage occured. Then a few months down the road my roof was leaking around my chimney and once again Toby showed up right away and repaired it for a great price. Cant say enough good things about this company. Great experience!!!

TJR did a solid and thorough inspection of my roof and home after a recent hail storm. They went above and beyond to work with my insurance company to make sure every aspect of the repair was included in the estimate. I really appreciated their extra effort. Within several weeks the new roof and associated repairs have been completed !

I would highly recommend TJR Construction. I had a couple of shingles damaged by a recent wind event. Toby was driving by my house and noticed it and stopped to talk with me about getting it repaired. He worked with my house insurance company and I was able to get the repair covered by my insurance company Travelers. He communicated with me all through the process with updates which I appreciated very much. They showed up on time and completed the job in half a day. Toby was on site and made sure everything went well. If you have any roof work I would definitely recommend you hire Toby and his crew. Excellent job!!

5 star experience with TJR Construction. Professional work finished on time and just under budget! Our house was re-roofed in just 1 day including carpentry by a friendly and neat crew of 10. Cleanup was exceptional and they took great care to protect our deck and shrubs. Highly recommended !

My experience is extensive with contractors.
I built a home in Florida by owner contract. This means I hired all of the contractors personally to build a home.

I’ve rehab two homes, again hiring contractors to do all the work.

I’ve owned numerous homes and hired contractors to do various work on these homes.

After interviewing a number of roof companies, I hired TJR to add onto my existing roof and re-roof my complete home.

The job went well and I was happy with the work and the price I paid.

The reason I would recommend Toby as highly as I would is because of what happened after the job.

This was a very difficult roof addition and after the job was complete, we found a small leak. I called Toby and his team arrived quickly at my home and fixed the problem.

Toby was thorough and it was very important to him that we were happy when the job was complete.

I’ve heard from Toby a number of times since checking to make sure that we were indeed happy with the work that his company performed for us.

I’ve never experienced the thorough follow through and professionalism as I have with Toby with TJR.

Full disclosure I have no relationship with Toby other than the job that he did for us. This is a sincere and honest referral.

I am really picky when it comes to contractors. These guys answered all my questions via in-person meet and text message. My roof was completed within 4 weeks of my deposit. They did a great job and cleaned up pretty good. They even let me throw some crap in the dumpster that wasn't full. Overall great experience and roof is well done. They have done around 4 on my street and all seem to be holding up fine. Price was good as well, the recommended work seemed a but high priced but I can address that down the road with some tyvek they didn't spot behind a few areas of the house. Really try to use local as much as we can this one worked out well.

TJR did a phenomenal job on our roof replacement and gutters. We have a large roof and it was stripped and replaced all in one day! The crew cleaned up nicely and the gutters were done the next day. Highly recommend TJR!!

From the first sales call to the final inspection when the job was all done, it has been a very positive experience with TJR. Despite months of delays due to solar panel removal, everyone I spoke with or met has been polite, professional and helpful. I would (and Have) recommend TJR to anyone. Perhaps I could have gotten a cheaper roof, but I couldn't have gotten the peace of mind that I have a great quality roof, and the overall great experience. Thank you!

TJR hit the nail on the head! They are the first residential contractor that I have been 100% satisfied with. We recently used them to wrap our wooden fascia and rake with aluminum and the finish product came out incredible.
Rick came out immediately and took no time to get me a quote. He worked with us to keep the job within our budget and stayed on schedule as we have various other projects going on.
Raul and his team of just three guys showed up on time one morning and hustled through the daylight hours. They showed up the next day and meticulously scoured our yard for any debris. The finish product was incredible. Our existing gutters were reinstalled straighter than they were before.
We will be using TJR for any of our future exterior needs as should you.

These guys are the real deal. Had hail damage on our hip roof a while back. They inspected the roof, knew exactly how to handle working with the insurance agency, and the whole process was easy and seamless. I had a ton of questions and Toby and Eric could not have been more responsive on cell phones and email.

They had multiple managers on-site the day of the new roof install. They took great care to cover anything and everything that could possibly be affected by debris and the work being done. Top quality materials.

All this, and they also wound up doing all 16 houses on our street. For some, the insurance was more of a battle, but TJR stayed the course with every single one and ultimately got insurance to work with each homeowner.

Plus they are all very nice people and was made pretty clear to me they want to do right by the customer. I had some follow-up questions 6 months later and Toby followed-up with me to make sure the shingle rep had reached out to me. Our experience was stellar. I would highly recommend!

They replaced my roof, then my siding. Both jobs were extremely well done. Jobs were completed on time and within budget. Workers were courteous, polite and cleaned up the entire work area.

Working with TJR construction was a wonderful experience. As a single mom, that owns a home, I didn’t know anything about roofs. When our town had a hail storm, my neighbor told me about TJR Construction and to call them for a free inspection on my roof to see if I had any damage. And sure enough, I had a lot of damage. TJR walked me through the whole process and helped me coordinate with my insurance company. It was very easy and I ended up getting my roof covered. I would highly recommend working with this company. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

My experience with this company was very positive. I was hesitant to work with them at first because they are not a local company. But they knew what they were doing. They did a beautiful job on my roof and without the help of Rick Hester I would not have been able to get my insurance company to cover the expenses. The on-site supervisor for the roof installation itself, Mike, was also outstanding. Both did everything they could to make my experience as good as it could be. They showed up when they said they would. They brought a large experienced crew, and they got the job done quickly . I never visited this place lol but I did have a roof put on by them. And they did a great job and a very good clean up. They did my roof in one day. And comparing my roof to my neighbor's roof that was put on last year... By another company. It's like night and day. The quality of my roof is amazing compared to theirs. Father built my home 77 years ago & TJR replaced old cedar siding with new vinyl. The crew was professional, they worked as a team. My father in heaven must be so happy with the job well done. Would recommend TJR for siding jobs. Will use them again when roof needs replacement. Excellent service.

I recently had to get my roof replaced and TJR Construction, LLC was definitely up to the challenge. It was a pleasure to work with Paul Phillips and Rick Hester on this project. They went above and beyond helping me with the insurance process. The project was fast and the crew was very professional, cleaning up everything before they left. I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the amazing job that TJR Construction did on our roof a short time ago. I have had a number of people in our neighborhood stop by to say how terrific the roof looks and comment on how quickly and efficiently the the roofing crew showed up and got the job done. They began stripping the old roof off at 9am and by 4pm the last gentleman walked us around the property and made sure we were satisfied with the roof and with the cleanup of the yard. We were amazed at how wonderful the roof looked and how clean the yard looked for the amount of work that had been done in such a short amount of time. From start to Finnish TJR construction went above and beyond expectations. There are very few places I feel secure enough giving a five star rating , TJR construction is one of those places.

TJR Construction did my roof in 2016. The owner Toby is more knowledgeable about roofs and general construction than any other company that had quoted me at the time.

He took the time to explain not only every part of my insurance claim process, but answered my very specific questions about ventilation, moisture and even how my solar was interacting with my roof.
