We had our roof done a few weeks ago. Our roof is large steep and has lots of angles. They stripped and shingled in one day. Cleaned up the ground and better it was prior to them being there.

Excellent to work with. Very professional, priced reasonably, exceptionally fast. They started stripping the roof at 8:00 a.m. and were gone by 4:00. Everything cleaned up and no debris left in the yard.

I quoted 3 companies for a full replacement of my roof and selected CB based on their competitive all-in price, nominal deposit terms (vs. half upfront as with other roofing contractors), positive reputation/reviews and, most importantly, through multiple Q&A sessions with Tim (the owner). As you can tell by my 5-star review, I am very happy that I did as my new roof looks and performs great. The team showed up as promised, knew their craft, were respectful of the property (especially in terms of the clean-up) and completed the job on-time. During a post-completion walk-thru, I noticed a few minor concerns that I raised with Tim (even after paying for the job in full) and he sent out his foreman the same day to make it right. I would strongly recommend Conventional Builders to anyone in the market for a roof repair or replacement.

This was my 2nd time using CB and I have to say what a guy Tim and his crew are. I had mentioned I had a leak in my roof, we set up a time for him to come out and after an initial diagnosis he took care of it the next day before its scheduled to rain again. After coming down from the roof, he was able to tell me exactly the condition of my roof and other important roof details, which shows a level of expertise you just don't get anymore. More than that it's a great pleasure to talk with him as you feel like you're talking to a friend.

Although they were not the lowest quote I received, the others left a lot of open room for overruns and intended to take out the ceiling in the room below. Tim took another approach and intended to have a look from above and let me know if there was structural damage in need of immediate repair and he was true to his quote. This saved me the cost of taking out a plaster ceiling while fixing the leaking issue from above with a beautiful new roof. The work crew was fast and very professional, replacing roofs on 2 extensions in 2 days. There was a small mix-up on roof color, but they gave me a credit for the inconvenience. Communication was challenging at times, but they held to their timelines during a busy season.
UPDATE: Roof is fine but damaged by my son. I have called them for follow-up service and after 5 months, I'm still chasing them. No shows for a scheduled service. Unfortunate. Lowering my rating for lack of commitment to customers after installation.
2nd Update: I confirm the roof has been repaired to my satisfaction and at no charge to me. Thank you.

Just had my roof replaced by Tim after he came out to replace some shingles that blew off during some strong wind storms.
He got an estimate to us and had a crew out quickly when our 27 year old roof developed a leak.
His crew was very professional and did a thorough cleanup when everything was completed.
I couldn’t be happier with the entire process from beginning to end.

Tim, Bree and the crew that came to replace the shingles on my roof, are exceptional. They arrived on time as promised, and went to work immediately. Each person on the crew knew exactly what his or her responsibility was and the job went seamlessly. When they were finished, the area around the house was cleared of all debris and the roof looks great! I recommend Conventional Builders to anyone who wants professional work performed on their home.

I am in the process of buying a house and was referred to Conventional Builders by my inspector because the house needed a chimney flashing repair. They called me the day after inspection to see if there was anything they could do to help me out, and even offered to go take a look at the flashing and give me a quote the next day! The seller ended up offering to fix on their dime but Bree and Tim were very responsive and very helpful in offering advice, a speedy quote, and even references for other companies in the area! They will definitely be the first company I contact in the future should the need arise.

Tim and Bree were both great to work with. The crew was super professional and made sure the job was done right. They disposed of all the debris and everything was clean when they were finished. CB worked with my Solar Panel installer to make sure timing was convenient for everybody. They worked around some bad weather days, and even came back on a Saturday to finish up when the short winter days robbed them
Of their normal schedule. I will hire them again if I ever need another roof.

All roofing companies are not the same! Bree took my call on a Wednesday, scheduled a repair for Monday at 10:30. Gentleman showed up at 10:30, made repairs per my request, job completed. These people understood the need for my request and completed the job perfectly. If needed, I will use them again and I hope you do too!

Buyer beware of who you believe and allow on your roof! After learning that there was suspected hail damage to properties in our area, a brief inspection was completed by an unnamed company stating that we had sustained such damage and would assist us with an insurance claim, provided we hire them to do the work. So, we went ahead to pursue that avenue. An adjuster, followed by an engineer came out to see for themselves and verify the claim. Much to our surprise we discovered that our roof had no so called hail damage at all, and instead was nearing the end of its lifespan. Within a month our Home Owners insurance sent a letter, requiring us to replace our roof or our policy would be cancelled!! We quickly went from hopeful to having a huge expense and a great deal of stress on our hands!! We contacted several roofing companies however, preferred Tim at Conventional Builders. Tim put our minds at ease that the job would be done in time to meet the insurance companies demands. Tim is personable and courteous. He offers quality products, affordable rates, and commendable work. He delivers what he promises, and he has a reliable crew working for him. He met our timeline and we love our new roof! We would highly recommend Tim for any services you may need. We certainly will rehire him if the need arises!

Tim was very professional in preparing all information for replacing our roof, working with insurance adjuster in timely way and a competitive market. The team that did the roofing were efficient , hard working , cleaned everything up , polite, worked hard to do the roof in one day .

Also, Tim provided a reasonable phased approach and options for a screened porch repair/ remodel. The work ensured the porch was safe , new flooring , new skylights, and we are very happy to be able to use the porch again !

Tim and his roofing crew replaced my roof shingles in November 2020. The crew was very professional, hardworking, and superb cleanup at the end of the job. Tim and the team were very responsive when we had an issue. He met with our adjuster and myself. He replaced the entire roof. Work was timely and good quality. The workers did a good job cleaning up after themselves.

Contacted Tim at Conventional Builders when a random company knocked on my door to check my roof for hail damage.
Conventional Builders has assisted me in the past so I contacted Tim and he was happy to stop by and inspect my roof.
Damage was found, insurance contacted and Tim was there every step of the way even meeting with the adjuster and never missing a beat.
During install more damage was found, I was advised and that was fixed as well.
Tim and his crew were punctual, professional and left my yard nice and clean.
Hope to not need anything anytime soon, but if I do - I will certainly contact Tim again.

Conventional Builders stopped by my house, on their way home, to inspect the flashing between my roof and chimney. A repair was made and they were on their way. Prompt service and would not take any compensation. Very polite and pleasant to deal with. Would not hesitate to call again.
