These guys are absolutely the worst. After making my parents pay in full. They then made them wait about 5 months before doing the job. That was after 50 unanswered phone calls inquiring about said job. Then this is the quality of work they did. Feel free to take a look at these photos. It took me awhile to finally make this review. I wish I would have done it sooner. Every time I see my parents house I cringe at this siding work. My Dad has called them several times to fix these issues. But they wont call back. Go to another company.

Run! Do Not Waste your time and money! Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had. Terrible decision going with this company. They took our money and never called us. We had to call, text, email, follow up after follow up, they re-schedule the day of 4 different times feeding us lie after lie. They continue to send invoices and they haven’t finished the job, it’s been 2 months since we signed a contract for a 2 day job!!!! Brian Wilcox is the owner who NEVER calls back, The sales reps will tell you anything you want to hear and then let you find out it was all lies. I don’t know how this company is still in business. There is a million other roofing companies within a 10 mile radius, pick anyone but this one. Hopefully I can help save a few more frustrations to people before they sign anything with this terrible company! Worst mistake, hopefully they close their doors!

Tyson, one of the owners, personally handled my claims, and provided me with an IMPECCABLE, and OUTSTANDING, experience. He looked me in the eye, shook my hand, and kept to his side of the bargain. Everything was completed in a reasonable time, and at a very competitive price. (considering some materials are harder to get ahold of). Tyson kept me in the loop, provided a professional experience, and has created a lifetime client. I will use him for all of my roofing, siding, and concrete needs. Titan Roof Ut. Are my go to roofing pros.

I called because a single piece of fascia partly came off. I was worried the job would be too small but that took it on.

What an AMAZING company!! I had wind damage including a blown over basketball standard. When I called them for help to clean up, they were so compassionate, and quickly set up a time to come and help me with debris clean up. What a professional company!! I would HIGHLY reccommend them top anyone!!

Whatever you do, don't use their "service". They don't respond to your calls or emails and will gladly take your money and run. They'll promise to do a job for you, make you pay half up-front, and then leave you high and dry. Stay away from shady and scummy businesses like this.

Had these guys do my roof and garage from a wind storm in 2019. first rain we had after there replacement
Leaked water took a month for them to have 1 guy come and redo a part around the cooler said they would fix the sheet rock inside It’s been six months I’m still waiting to hear from them I highly do not recommend this company Whenever a company makes you pay in advance which they did you should be very leery

Titan Roof failed to deliver any of my siding. They have decided to complete disregard the fact that they owe me thousands of dollars and I have had to resort to reporting them to the state. It's been months since I was promised a refund from the owner. I would run and hide from titan roof. 2/9/22 Still no money. Even in their review response comments they lie.

PART TWO:

4. Not keeping appointments or returning phone calls within one business day, even after a contract is signed
SOLUTION: If a contractor is too busy to return phone calls, then he is too busy to do an excellent job on your roof. Find someone else.

5. Not starting work within 30 days of the signed contract
SOLUTION: If a contractor does not complete a significant portion of the work before thirty (30) days, then the contract is void. If the contractor doesn't complete emergency repairs (tarp installation) within 24 hours, then cancel the contract.
a. Tim signed the contract on September 9, but his roof wasn't tarped until the middle of October, and Titan didn't start work until November 23. But since Tim signed a contract, he thought he didn't have a choice.

6. The owner lies to your face
SOLUTION: Write a bad review.
a. I called LKL Associates directly to make sure Titan had paid their invoice, and they hadn't. After no returned phone calls or texts, I went into Titan to ask Brian why LKL hadn't canceled the lien. He said he was waiting for the check to clear. I said, "Tim gave you a cashier's check." He had no choice but to call LKL and pay their bill while I watched. Finally, I requested a physical copy of the invoice marked "paid," and the invoice showed several errors, so I insisted he did it over until it was correct.
b. Brian promised to get the remainder of Tim's work taken care of, but Tim has only received a text from a man who claims to want to come to look at Tim's gutters but who still has not followed through on any appointment.

As consumers, we have tremendous resources to protect ourselves, but we need to know how to use them. If you find yourself in Tim's position, call Utah DOPL (Utah Department of Public Licensing) and directly complain. Google and Yelp Reviews only help when you're annoyed about lousy customer service. If the contractor you hired breaks the law, e.g., no contractor, illegal contracts, and shoddy work, file a report. A City Inspector is licensed by the state of Utah, too, so if they pass off bad workmanship, you can file a complaint about them too.

PART ONE:

I am writing this review on June 22, 2021, and the disaster took place on September 8, 2020... ten months ago! In April, I was called by a dear friend, Tim, to help him navigate what turned into a legal issue after LKL Associates, Titan's distributor, placed a lien on his home. As of today, Tim has paid Titan in full, yet his ceiling still has holes, he still has no rain gutters, and his sidewalk is still torn up from where the tree uprooted. I've worked directly for and as a subcontractor of over 30 licensed contractors during the last ten years, and it is my professional opinion that Titan Disaster Cleanup should be dba "Titan Disaster Creator!"

I won't write out all the project details, but the other bad reviews are similar to Tim's. However, the red flags witnessed by consumers do not even scratch the surface of what is alarming to someone IN the industry. When you hire ANY contractor, please be aware of the following:

1. Not knowing the contractor
It is common practice with construction companies to have a contractor "on paper" who never shows up to the job site.
SOLUTION: Verify a contractor's license and meet the named responsible party... look for contractors who will be doing the work themselves and with helpers.
a. Ensure they are ON the job site overseeing everything.
Tim came home early from work one day to check on progress and discovered the labor crew had shingled directly over the gaping holes in his roof. A homeowner should not have to take time off work to go in and do the contractor's job.
b. Go into their place of business, and check out their operation.
Does the contractor have several wrapped fleet vehicles but a warehouse devoid of supplies? Do the sales managers walk by your meeting with the owners more than five times each, obviously having nothing to do? Do the company owners shuffle you to a small desk in the middle of the lobby, where everyone can hear you talk about financial matters?
c. When the receptionist fails to answer basic questions about who the contractor is, like his name..., run away!
I was told [the licensed contractor] Cody [John Rendon] severed his ties with Titan, and Tyson Richison and Bryan Wilcox are the contractors. They are NOT the licensed contractors.

2. The contractor requires signed papers before giving an estimate
SOLUTION: Always collect at least (3) estimates from contractors before signing ANYTHING!
a. Tim hired Titan because his friend recommended the salesman who works for them. FACT: a salesman understands about 5% of his industry... in ANY sector: cars, construction, electronics, construction, etc. Get everything the salesman says in writing.

3. The contract violates Utah Code Title 13 - Chapter 50
SOLUTION: Compare the contract to the code... there are specific timelines that a contractor must spell out in the agreement. Titan's contract does NOT include the required notices, and they shorten the cancellation period substantially...

Do NOT use this company. They lied about everything they said they would do. Their work is shoddy and they do not show up when they say they will. They do not honor their contract and evade you when you try to fire them or communicate in any way. They have a fake facade and are no where near reliable.
My 85 year old Mother used this company and they have been forbidden from ever stepping foot on her property again.

I had Titan Roof repair half of my roof and replace the other half. All work was done in one day, which was nice. I would have given 5 stars, but there were times when communication on scheduling/timing of roof repair was not the best. Overall, working with them was a good experience.

I was hesitant at first to contact Titan Roof because their flyer was left on my door shortly after a major windstorm did extensive damage to our area. (they appeared as vultures moving in on the kill). I soon realized this was a common practice and had a pile of flyers that had been left so, i went back to the first flyer...Titan Roof. They proved to be a good choice. We both needed a certain level of patience due to some miss com with my insurance but when it was all said and done, Titan came thru with a quality job. I was expecting to have a bill in addition to my deductable due to not having a full replacement rider on my policy. Titan did all that was needed and they did it for what the insurance settled for. They came in Christmas week and I thought I was going to have a holiday mess but they were quick and efficient and, done and gone with some minor exceptions. Overall I'm very satisfied with Titan and would recommend them to anyone with any type of roofing need

Titan roofing helped me out after a big windstorm- they came out immediately and did a full tarp job on the exposed areas and worked with me and my insurance to eventually do a full re-roof job. They were great in scheduling around some other work I had going on and completing the job in the time they gave me and their office was really good in following up with any questions I had.

They did a full roof replacement on our house after the wind storm we had. They were great to work with, very competitive with pricing and able to schedule us quicker than others. They performed the work just as they projected and did very good quality work.

Titan replace half of our roof, which was heavily damaged from a recent wind storm. They were fast in tarping the damaged areas to protect from further damage until the roof replacement work could be done. I had to stay involved to help keep the communication going, but this may have been caused in part by a heavy workload as there was widespread damage in our area at the time. I also had to closely monitor the invoices and have some corrected. When the roof repair work was finally scheduled, they were punctual and completed the work very quickly. I was very pleased with that. The quality of work looks good and so far no leaks to address with them.

Titan did a full roof replacement for us. Their bid was lower than four other bids we got. They completed the job very quickly and we were very happy with the results. They showed up when they said they would and were very responsive to any questions we had. I would easily use them again.

Our home suffered extensive damage from the windstorm in September. We had a tree hit our house among other things and Titan was out the next day to remove it ,clean up and secure the damaged areas. They have been a tremendous resource and an advocate with our insurance company as we navigate our damage claim and complete the repairs. They have been top notch in their customer service and work. I would highly recommend them and we even plan on having them put a new roof on our home next summer.

Let’s start with the good, I liked that this business has a dedicated receptionist that streamlines taking and processing incoming calls and maintaining organization. I was able to get someone out to my house to look at the damage from the storm the same day I called. I give this outfit 5 stars on speedy response and that’s where the good times end.

Please keep in mind this takes place after a giant storm rolls through northern Utah while simultaneous wild fires wipe out most of the West Coast. This means that there is a shortage of insurance claims adjusters available locally because they Get relocated during mass natural disaster response such as the wild fires. Claims adjusters are also working remotely due to health and safety precautions.

Monday: The employee who came to our house was very open and communicative. He was willing to discuss all of his observations regarding the storm damage and possibilities for getting more money out of the insurance company. He stayed longer than necessary making the experience uncomfortable and awkward. I initially thought he was waiting for me to get additional information from my insurance company but he lingered long after the information was provided . When asked to provide me with an estimate he said “oh that’s not how things are done, we work directly with the claims adjuster.”... I then asked about tarping the damaged roof and he said “we only tarp roofs that we have signed to contract.” He then began insisting on me signing a contract without having an estimate. He eventually is asked to leave and on his way out says that he will need to talk to a supervisor to get authorization to give me an estimate.

Monday Evening: The technician calls me later the same evening to once again insist that I sign a contract. I inform him that I need an estimate to make an informed decision and that my insurance adjuster wants me to collect and submit estimates. I had already explained all of this to him in person.

Wednesday: I receive a confirmation text message that I have been scheduled for repair services. I call the receptionist and clear up the confusion and ask “why haven’t I received my estimate?” She says “that is not how things are done, we work directly with the claims adjusters. Do you have a claim# I can get from you and we can start the process?” I told her that I need an estimate to submit to my claims adjuster and she insisted that they do not offer estimates when an insurance company is involved.

This entire outfit is a giant heaping pile of BS. There is this legal term known as INFORMED CONSENT. Informed consent protects consumers from being ripped off and it guarantees that consumers know what they are paying for before agreeing to pay for it. I contacted 15 different roofing companies and while this company was Johnny on the spot prompt there are significant red flags to pay attention to with their lack of ethics and professionalism. This was the only company unwilling to provide me with an estimate and try and rush me into signing a contract.

Titan was hands down one of the best companies with whom we have ever done business. The finished roof and gutters are already getting rave reviews. We can't praise them enough.

They did excellent with my side panelso my house, making it look like new, as if it wasn't touched in the first place. They even took the excess side panelling and put it on my shed and made it look like a brand new shed. Thank you Titan Roofing.

Had my gutters replaced. One of the best service experiences I've had. Quote was done timely, people were friendly, communication was great. Work was executed timely and very professionally. People seem to be on top of it, docusign for contracts, text message communications. Would use them again for any roofing needs.

Service questions

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
