Tip Top Roofing

I had my house roof replaced with tip top and I am so happy with the work they have done to my house roof.
Highly recommend

I selected TipTop as my roofer based upon work seen across the street, and based upon research conducted at my request by my son. A friend of his is working to create his own roofing firm, and his reply to my son's query was "TipTop is good work." on the strength of those factors, I made an appointment to sit with a representative, whose informed and low pressure sales manner reinforced the positive previous impressions. On the day of installation, the crew arrived at 7 AM, and they completed the installation by 4:30 PM. I was impressed with the meticulousness of the work, from the dismount of my roof gutters to the reinstallation of the heat cable on the shingling at the rear, shaded side of the house. Frankly, I thought that their efforts consistently surpassed my expectations. TipTop was on-site the following morning, sweeping the site for stray nails, while the TipTop hired dumpster provider arrived to remove the dumpster from my driveway. The dumpster firm also made arrangements to return on a warmer day to touch up the scuffed driveway sealer. All told, I could not be happier that we decided to bring in TipTop. Well done, all involved.

Nick was my salesperson and was a very agreeable person. Had the upgrade on roof shingles, ridge vent and plywood replaced. The crew were polite and completed the job in a day, including replacing the plywood. The next day, it became obvious the upgrade ridge vent had issues. The call was made and within a short period of time they came back and corrected. It was also note to Nick that one of the replaced plywood had caused a ripple in the shingles. This issue was looked at by the roofing crew leads. He saw the issue but the problem was never correct.
A year later, several shingle on this piece of plywood are lifting.
So to sum up the situation, Good Saleman, Great Crew and poor
quality control.

I would like to thank Robert (Owner) who contacted me immediately after my note. Bob personally came out to my house and evaluated the issue. As he put it, I am really busy right now but since I am the owner we will get this fixed immediately. From
there it went to Mike (Project Manager) the next day. He arranged
to have the bottom right 10 foot X 10 foot area replaced. This included the replacement of all the plywood, vapor barrier and
shingles. Within a week of this conversation Pete (Foreman) arrived with his team of six workers. They completed the correction in four hours and the roof looks great.
The thing that needs to be remembered is the repairs should have been done by the former owner but were not. Bob and
Tip Top came in and fixed everything at no cost to me, even though they did not have to.

Tip Top Roofing was great from start to finish on my job. My sales rep Ken arrived on time for our appointment (other companies were late or no shows). Provided a fair quote and walked me through the different options they offer, he didn’t try to force me to the best option they offer, but I decided to go for it for the extended warranty and minimal price increase. As I have an upcoming solar install, I also needed them to commit to installing the room before the end of August which they promised and did!

The roof itself only took a day, with their hardworking crew, and the clean up was fantastic, I haven’t found any nails or anything in the couple of weeks since they finished. I had one very minor issue with how the J-channel on my trim was reinstalled which they sent a crew over to take care of within a couple of days.

Overall, after trying to find a roofer for a few weeks I was comfortable with, I’m happy I waited to find TipTop and that I went with them.

I had my roof done in late February the roofing people were friendly they were there in the morning and done in the afternoon. I cannot say anything bad regarding this group. I would absolutely recommend Tip Top roofing as A 1 from setting up and clean up impeccable. Need a roof go with the best Tip Top Roofing. THE BEST. Karen Quist

I had my roof done by Tip Top Roofing on Tuesday. The crew showed up at 7AM and stayed until 6PM until the entire job was completed. I was amazed with how quickly things were done and cleaned up. This crew just kept working all day long with only a 30 min break for lunch. They were fantastic. I was contacted early that morning that many sheets of plywood needed to be replaced and that did not stop them from finishing the same day. I would highly recommend Tip Top Roofing.

Tip Top Roofing, John, and the roof installers were fantastic. My insurance company unexpectedly gave me three weeks notice at the end of December to replace my roof or lose coverage on my newly purchased home, so I was in a bit of a panic. John came out quickly to provide a quote and go over options and it was a no pressure sales situation. They were fairly priced and competitive with the other reputable roofers in the area. Once I signed the contract, they worked to secure the permit over the holidays and on install day, an army of installers showed up at 7 am. By the time I got home from work, everyone was gone and I had a new roof. Very satisfied with the work and communication.

Never seen a harder working crew in my life. They stripped the old roof, fixed a bunch of old rot, and had a never roof up in the same day. They did an excellent job cleaning up. Totally reasonable and professional experience and I am so grateful I went with them! Thank you John and Crew!

Good company to work with. Goes out of their way to satisfy their customer. They go above and beyond and keep any and all commitments, including scheduling. At the time they were training a new member of their team. I believe for a Mgmt position. I haven't checked in but if he was kept on, it will be a huge plus for the company as his work ethic, background, and not afraid to get his own hands dirty would be a great boost for the Co. Based on my experience I would use them again.

We worked with Nick the owner during the sales process. He was punctual and also gave us 3 price options which was helpful. He came prepared with all relative insurance/workers comp documents included in the folder. He got all necessary permits from the town so we didn’t have to. The actual work was completed in one day and the workers were super efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Nick followed up with us the next day to make sure we were happy. We received quotes from 4 other companies and his was the most competitive. This is a true business not just someone operating out of their truck.

We all know working with contractors can be painful. Working with Tip Top was an extremely easy experience. They know their business, they were professional, thorough, and honest. No-nonsense analysis and explanation of the job beforehand, which I appreciated. They offered three different options and price points, and there was zero pressure around which one to choose. Could not have been more courteous while on our property.

I talked to three companies before choosing Tip Top. They were the easiest to deal with, most responsive, and had the best price for the job with the full 50 year GAF warranty. I saved about 7k by choosing them over the other two companies.
The job was done in a day and they did a very good job with cleanup compared to another roofer I have used in the past.

Very professional and easy to work with. The quote, for a new roof install, was explained, by Mike, in detail - including unexpected potential costs. We have a very shallow pitch, on a portion of our roof, that has always been a problem and we were expecting some issues.
The team (fantastic workers, by the way) arrived on time and worked tirelessly for 2 days. Each "unplanned" expense was discussed thoroughly, by Mike, and approved or rejected by us.
So far, I couldn't be happier with the finished result.

BEWARE. I paid 10 thousand dollars for a brand new roof installation back in January and it’s leaked twice since then! Never had a roof leak before they replaced my old one! Absolutely no solution from ownership. None. I’m left with a continuously leaking brand new roof and excessive interior damage! On my way to BBB unfortunately.

Mike was the best to work with and went over and above my expectations. I signed the contract and had a new roof in 3 days later and it was done in under a day. Tip Top Roofing did an excellent job on our roof. We previously had some leaks and damage around our chimney, some algae and wear on shingles and knew it was time to replace the entire roof.

The quoting process was phenomenal. They were by far the most thorough, had multiple price point offerings, and Nick was extremely personable and honest. No hidden costs, he had samples of everything, and took the time to come prepared to review and discuss options. The materials used were GAF (one of the leading roofing material companies). Tip Top Roofing is certified by GAF, so you know they know what they are doing and you get multiple warranty offerings. I liked that there was a warranty option of just materials or material and labor; and it was very clear which warranty you were eligible for based on service selected. The crew did a great job overall and were done in less than 2 days; and that included doing extra work to fix a prior roof pitch problem for us. They filed the warranty and building inspection, so it was absolutely no hassle process for the homeowner. If you are in or live around Shrewsbury, just know that a LOT of houses have roofs by Tip Top. I was surprised once the company sign went up outside how many people told me “Tip Top Roofing did my roof” and were happy with their service as well (even the UPS delivery man :-)).

Nick and the guys at TipTop did an amazing job for us! Not only were they quick and very professional, but they were also courteous and great to work with. On a job that turned out to be much more extensive than at first met the eye, they moved with terrific speed and the result looks great and performs perfectly. When the local roofing inspector came for the final inspection he commented that Tip Top always does a top quality job, and I agree!

From start to finish, Tip Top’s staff, especially Kurt, was attentive, honest, and dependable. They removed 2 layers of old shingles, installed 5 new Velux skylights, and installed new high quality shingles. The project clean up was thorough as well. I highly recommend them.

Our primary contact was Dominic - he was very professional, knowledgeable and communicative throughout the entire process. Ours is an antique colonial, the roof of which had been installed by the previous owners and, as we expected, covered many sins. Nick's crew was undaunted and did a first rate job re-decking the roof and patching trim on the house, and still managed to come in below another quote we'd received. At one point, there were 8 to 10 people working on the job, which was finished in just two days - quite a feat given the seven separate roof lines on the house. Work ethic and pace of work for the crew was excellent and the clean-up was very thorough, with no debris of any sort left when the job was done.

I thought the whole process went smoothly. The workers were polite and cleaned up nicely. I would recommend this company.

I don't think you can find a better roofing company. After an awful experience with somebody else, Tip Top exceeding all my expectations. From the initial estimate meeting where Nick takes all the time you need to explain everything and answer your questions to the actual completion of the work, everything was done perfectly, exactly as they said, and exactly when they said. I loved how the job was done within 2 days, with top notch material. The roof looks terrific, and the price was very competitive. Can't get better than that!

I am extremely happy with the job Tip Top Roofing did in replacing my roof. I opted for the Premium grade; for a little bit extra you get much more quality and far better life protection for your home. Estimate was quick and reasonable, materials and dumpster arrived less than a week later. Next day they started work 7am and was done by 3:30pm that afternoon. Excellent work.

Beware: the person you meet to give you your quote and look at your roof is a salesman, not someone who works on roofs or the business owner. Their job is to sell you a roof, not give you a reasonable estimate of cost or what the job will entail. They will say you may need a few pieces of plywood or pine here and there but your roof looks pretty good. The cost of my project went from $22,000 to $35,000 and it would have been about $40,000 if they had done everything that they wanted to do. My roof did need some work but I could have been better informed about this before signing the contract. During the job they just kept insisting on more work that was needed, some of which I don't feel was necessary. Seemed like they just wanted to push the price up. The price increased 50% from the initial quote to job completion!

They don't tell you about all the other work until they have already stripped off your existing shingles so you don't have much choice.
I have seven other roofs and I will not be using tip top roofing again.

Their crew cut cable lines and threatened a person for the cable company that came to repair the line. They also caused significant damage to a tenant's car and damaged a section of roof that is now exposed wood.

I have reached out to them about the car damage and the damage to my roof and they have stopped responding.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. I am an landlord and deal with contractors all the time and I would never do business with them again.

Dom and the whole crew were awesome from start to finish. As a retired maintenance technician, it is a pleasure to watch someone work that really knows their job. This company is outstanding. They did my own house (a contemporary), and also a rental property (a ranch) I own. They did exactly what they said they would do, in a very timely fashion, on budget, and did a truly quality job. My home has considerable roof features, and required two long days to complete. Dominic is thorough, communicates extremely well with the customer, and was truly a pleasure to work with. In addition to the roof, his crews did considerable high PVC trim work, working around lightning protection and existing gutters, and the job turned out excellent. My rental was also challenging, and not only did they need to replace ALL sheathing on the house the day of the job, but they still completed the roof the same day. Very courteous and hard working crews! Wonderful to work with. You will not be disappointed. Can't say enough about this company.

I went with Tip Top Roofing because my Dad had recommended them to me after he used them. They did an amazing job with my Dads roof and now our roof. They were great at explaining our options and the entire installation process through out. We worked closely with Nick Biscardi and he was so professional and courteous. I was really stressed over getting our roof done as a new homeowner but Nick was extremely helpful and responsive. I couldn't believe how fast they got it done it only took a day. I am recommending them to anyone who mentions getting their roof done! I'm so thankful we chose them.
