This is not a real listing. When I called to talk to "Tim", I was prompted by a robot to put in my zip code. No matter what zip code you enter, it ends up at another roofing company, a large company that I'm not sure I'm interested in giving my patronage. Then I examined the reviews (which were surprisingly numerous and very good for a small roofing company in Edgewater, FL) and the reviewers are almost all the same: one review of 5 stars and then nothing else.

There are several other companies set up in the exact same way: supposedly small roofing companies with web sites by the same web design company with out-of-area VOIP phone numbers and randomly generated emails. If you look further, there is no other information about them at all... no business details anywhere, no license numbers (which even bad roofing companies will have posted everywhere), nothing on social media, nothing found on Google, their sites are full of stock photos of random people doing construction without any photos of their work as you'd expect. Pretty weird for a business with a dozen 5 star reviews.

I was looking for a small local company to do some roof repairs, but this is a tactic by either a large roofing company and their shady marketing team or a mismanaged affiliate program run amok. This really eats away at the trust that I've developed for google reviews and businesses that advertise on google. It definitely makes me not want to use the business that is benefiting from these tactics.
