The guys worked so quickly and very efficient. They cleaned up very well when they were done. Highly recommend them!

I had 20 trees dropped, 4 stumps ground and 4 trees trimmed. The price was reasonable and everyone of the guys were impressively great from start to finish. A great bunch of young men who are committed to being extremely professional and helpful. I have had stumps ground down before from other companies. Only Timber Valley Tree Co dug down around the stumps so they could grind deeper. I was very impressed. I will be using this business again. Thanks again to Mick, Sam and crew.

I hired TVT to take down a couple of problem trees. Mick came out and gave me an estimate which I accepted. Sam and crew came out and took the two trees down very quickly and professionally. They did exactly as I requested, no damage - no problem. I couldn't be more pleased and I highly recommend them without hesitation or reservation.

Timber Valley was doing some work for my neighbor- they put a little flyer saying they were going to be in the area, but they could never be closer! The guys came over after they were finished with my neighbors project and felled 12 massive red fir trees that were all WAY too close to my house. They did an expert job and dropped them without damaging anything else around them. Great job!

Had some trees taken down today by Timber Valley Tree Co. They did an excellent job. The cleanup they did was fantastic and got all the wood chips and wood stacked exactly where we wanted them. We didn’t have to do anything. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend.

Timber Valley Tree Company has been our go-to tree service for the past year, removing several trees from our property with expertise and care. Recently, lightning struck one of our biggest pines, creating a serious hazard. We called Sam immediately. Understanding the urgency, Sam went above and beyond. He rearranged his schedule and was out to our property the very next day to remove the dangerous tree.

We needed about 20 trees cleared for building purposes and some esthetics too. Mick met with us, we walked and talked about which ones and how to process our trees, he wrote up a bid and we made an appointment. Sam and his crew showed up at 7:30AM to start the job. While they were here we had them also take a couple more and they were more than willing to accomodate us. Mick, Sam and the crew were all very respectful, patient and kind to me and my husband during the time they were here. They came in cut the trees, chipped and distributed the chips, loaded and stacked the larger logs where we wanted and were finished in 5 hours. The quality of their work was superb. We have plans to have more trees removed in the next few years. We will definitely call them back and I want to recommend them highly to anyone who needs tree care or removal. These guys know what their doing, do a fantastic job, and leave you feeling like you made the absolutely right decision by hiring them to get the job done.

TVT took down two 28+ inch trees within 15 feet of our house. They showed up on time and directionally felled the trees away from the septic leach field area, power lines, and of course, beloved lilacs. No damage to anything. We were also able to choose between a couple of options of work based on our financial and cleanup goals. The cost was highly competitive in comparison to others in the industry. Mick and Sam were very clear about how they would proceed and how everything would look following the removal. Their communication from start to finish was excellent. Overall, they are highly professional, excellent communicators, trustworthy (I’d allow them to work on my property any time), and friendly. I definitely recommend them and will be calling again for any future needs.

We had TVT Co come out to cut down and remove 9 really tall pole pines. They showed up on time, did a wonderful job at a fair price, and clean up was awesome. We could hardly tell they had been on our property. Mick, the sales manager was very personable and extremely knowledgeable. We highly recommend them!

I called Timber Valley Tree Co. in a panic as my cat, Fez, was stuck over 100ft up in a pine tree. He had been missing for several days and we had found him late at night by using a flashlight. Timber Valley Tree Co. was not only responsive, but extremely empathetic and understanding of the situation. They adjusted their schedule that night so they could drive over first thing in the morning to Sandpoint to get Fez out of the tree. We worked with Sam and he did a fantastic job! He walked me through the removal process so there were clear expectations. Sam also made sure to confirm what Fez would/would not be comfortable with to ensure he was as safe as possible. Sam arrived promptly at 7:30am and was packed up to leave with Fez safely home by 8am. Timber Valley Tree Co. was also priced competitively for arborists in and around Sandpoint. They are definitely recommended and we can't thank them enough for saving Fez!

Sam the owner owner of Timber Valley Tree Co and his crew after a very competitive bid came out and removed a 60+ foot ponderosa pine. True to their word in less than 3 hours the tree was removed and the ground cleaned. The entire crew were professional and polite. Great job and thanks!

Very professional and conscientious. Took down 100+ year old 95-100 ft. Ponderosa pine with no damage to surrounding trees or landscaping. Cleaned area so well that you couldn't see any evidence except slight indentation where the equipment was sitting. We will definitely be using them again for any future tree removal

You will not regret working with this company. They are professional, fair, efficient and really know their job! Sam, Mick, and their staff are knowledgeable and personable. They trimmed up more then15 trees and took 3 completely down. They had it all done in one day. No regrets hiring them

I can’t say enough good things about these guys! We had a five acre lot with LOTS of dead trees, most of the lot was dead trees. Sam, Mick and Jacob were clean, professional and organized. I can’t believe they finished the job as quickly and thoroughly as they did. We would use them again and will recommend them to everyone we can! Thanks guys!

10/9/2023 Mick, Sam, Jacob and team.... did an amazing job of removing 25 very challenging tall trees, with dead branches. The crew was professional, safe and polite. They went above and beyond to make sure the job was done as agreed. One neighbor asked Mick to come over to give them an estimate to remove 20+ trees.

Exceeded my expectations. From Mick's survey and tree assessment, on to Sam and his crew's work to remove the trees on 10/3, a great experience. 8 large trees and one smaller birch had to come out. Some, including the largest, right next to my neighbor's house or my shop. And they had to deal with power lines. When finished, you almost could not tell that the trees had been taken. Wonderful cleanup. Their chipper makes fast work of limbs, slash and smaller trees/trunks. Amazing.

Sam and his crew were amazing. Great work, exactly when he said he would, and cleaned the place up wonderfully. He worked well with us and the neighbor. Highly recommend!

Sam made quick work of a large pine tree leaning towards our barn. He arrived early, practically flew up the tree and was finished before his estimated time. Very affordable, professional and friendly, we would definitely hire him again!

9/2024 Tree came down during a big storm and fell through the roof and ceiling. They were out first thing the next morning clearing away the tree and branches. What a quick response and great job cleaning up!

4/21/25 We had 8 huge trees cut down, and they didn't disappoint (as usual). They went the extra mile, worked hard and efficiently. Great crew for sure. I'd post pictures if I knew how to do it here.

Sam did a great job. Came right out, gave a fair estimate and was back in 3 days to do the work. I was even able to get more trees taken down then I thought I was going to. Will definitely call him for future projects!

Sam arrived on time and cut down 28 dead trees with no incidences. He piled the logs nicely and created slash piles. I would recommend Sam and his company for all of your tree needs!

Sam and his crew were professional, efficient and friendly. He came out and gave us a fair estimate for cutting down 25 trees. When he showed up for the job, we had made a few changes and he easily adjusted and took care of what we wanted. They completed the work on time and we were very pleased with the job. We have another (bigger) project in the future and we’ll definitely contact Sam for an estimate.

these guys are amazing. they had a lot of trimming to do on my big fir trees and they did a fantastic job! they also did a great job of cleaning up the mess! i would highly recommend them. they are fast and on time! my place looks great now!
