I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the deck and cover replacement project performed by Tiger Exteriors NW (AKA Tiger Roofing NW), which began in October 2024 and was completed on February 6, 2025.
The initial agreement included the addition of concrete pads under the deck and a dry area with corrugated metal and gutters to facilitate water runoff. However, the corrugated metal currently leaks around all sides of each piece. Furthermore, after a major rainstorm in June 2025, we discovered that the main roof of the cover is also leaking.
Despite numerous attempts to contact the company for repairs, our calls have been ignored, or ineffective repair visits have been scheduled. When men are sent out, they state that someone else is needed for the repair and promise to return in a couple of days, but no one ever does.
Beyond the current leakage issues, the entire project has been a nightmare. We were initially pushed to start the work, with promises of completion by Thanksgiving 2024 to keep your men busy during winter. The foreman even laughed on the first day, stating the Thanksgiving deadline was impossible. While modifications were made to allow use of our outdoor kitchen for the holiday, the project was not finished until February 6, 2025.
In early December, we were repeatedly asked to release funds from the finance company, despite the finance company's instruction not to release funds until the deck was completely done and we were satisfied. We encountered significant issues, including 3 inches of standing water and pooling near our house foundation due to improperly poured concrete pads. The company was unable to resolve this, and I had to enlist the help of my neighbor, a concrete professional, to fix the issue.
Another major problem was the installation of roofing that did not match our existing roof, despite me providing the name and color code and even the location of the existing roof materials. I was told the color was no longer made, but upon my verification with the supply store, it was indeed in stock. The correct roofing was eventually installed in January 2025.
This project has been riddled with problems, and it seems that addressing issues with Tiger Exteriors NW requires a significant fight to get things done properly. I have many more details that highlight the distressing nature of this build.

Tiger Exteriors put in a walkway beside my mobile home for my two pugs. It was done within a day and a half and it looks perfect! Exactly what I had in mind. The crew cleaned up the workspace and put my no dig fence back in place.
