Customers appreciated the attention to detail and the ability to complete projects on time and within budget. However, there are a few significant complaints regarding initial estimations that were drastically different from final quotes, as well as issues with specific installations that did not meet expectations. Overall, customer service and communication were often mentioned as strong points.
- The entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish.
- The team was on time daily, friendly, open to questions, and gave awesome suggestions.
- Communication was excellent and we are very satisfied with the work that was done.
- They went above and beyond in helping us through this process.
- The attention to detail and professionalism was WAY above par.
- The estimated quote was off by that much; that's like guessing something's 3 feet when it's actually 9.
- They ruined what was to be my dream home.
- They did not seal the seams and it is now coming apart.
- I paid them good money and more than a good price for the job.
- They did an extensive amount of damage to my home leaving the bathroom completely unusable.

We just completed a master bathroom and fireplace renovation with Tidewater ProBuild and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!!!!!
From day one, they listened to what we wanted and provided helpful suggestions, that we ended up going with, that enhanced both the design and functionality of the bathroom. Ryan, who was our project manager, and Petey, were both extremely friendly, professional, punctual, and respectful of our home — always keeping the work area clean and minimizing disruption.
One thing I really liked about Tidewater was that they went above and beyond. This was the first time we had done a major renovation and I felt very overwhelmed. Robert, one of the owners, went with me to pick out tile, granite, wood, etc. offering suggestions and really making me feel like he cared about my project and that I wasn't just a job. Having that extra care and attention really made this experience one that was enjoyable, and not stressful and overwhelming, like I originally thought it was going to be.
The quality of the workmanship is outstanding. The tile work is flawless (thanks Nick and Mitch), the custom vanity looks incredible (thanks Caleb), and every detail — from the lighting to the fixtures — was executed with precision. They kept us informed throughout the project, stayed on schedule, and honored the agreed-upon budget.
We now have a spa-like retreat in our own home, that I spend much more time in, thanks to their talent and hard work. We couldn't be happier with the result and would absolutely recommend Tidewater ProBuild to anyone looking to renovate their bathroom or take on any home improvement project.

Tidewater Pro-build completely modernized our 1990 guest bathroom. They did a complete gut job and the work was transformational. Caleb gave us a quote which was spot on. Robert oversaw the project and was present everyday. They did an absolute phenomenal job, and we would definitely use them again. We get so many compliments on the makeover.

I am so happy with my addition from Tidewater ProBuild. They are AMAZING. The supervisor, Ryan Gibson is the best to deal with. He answered all my million questions and my husbands, very respectful, and top notch company to deal with. The kitchen renovation is complete and it is my dream kitchen. Thank you Ryan for making our dream a realty. AAAA+ craftmanship!! Completed in a timely manner even after my many change orders.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
