Tom comes out and gives us a quick estimation quote for $30,000. Turns right back around and send us a quote for $90,000. How is the estimated quote off by that much? That’s like guessing something’s 3 feet when it’s actually 9…. Good way to make $300 off of us though, so good job on your swindling skills.

They ruined what was to be my dream home. I had them install sheet vinyl flooring and they ruined it.Seams were located in high traffic areas. They did not seal the seams and it is now coming apart. I paid them good money and more than a good price for the job.

These guys go above and beyond with their service. I just needed some work done on my front and back porch, kitchen tile replacement, and a change to my bathroom vanity top/mirror. We needed repairs to our kitchen after a pipe leaked, ruining the walls, ceiling and floor in both our kitchen and dinning room. Tidewater Pro met with us quickly, listened to our concerns, and worked with us to get work started fast and within within the budget of our insurance coverage.

These guys are great! We had an upstairs shower leaking into the dining room downstairs. Another company came out and assessed the cause as a cracked shower pan, which replacing would have required extensive glass frame removal and tile rip out, making an insurance claim, and turning our bathroom into a construction zone.

Thankfully we called Caleb for a second opinion and he came out with Tom to assess the issue same day. Immediately they identified an issue with the drain and fixed it the following day. No more leaking in the dining room, no construction zone upstairs. We will absolutely be calling Caleb and his team for any future bathroom work!

I've been working with Caleb and his crew for about 2 months. I am in the process of doing a major kitchen remodel. I have a special needs son and we are working to make the kitchen more accessible for him. Caleb and Brian have worked closely with me to pick great products and to get good prices on them. My husband and I used Tidewater Pro Build to remodel our master and guest bathrooms. We couldn’t be happier with the professionalism, attention to detail, responsiveness, and overall quality of work. They communicated thoroughly with us throughout the entire process, and the plan was written up in extreme detail before the project ever began. I had a custom shower start leaking and did not know who to hire to get it redone. I did some research and found Tidewater Pro Build. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Caleb went above and beyond to make things right. He even put boots on my roof vents because he noticed some water discoloration in my bathroom ceiling. This had nothing to do with the job I hired him for. Good people. I plan to have them do work on my other bathroom in the near future.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Tidewater Pro Build is. Trey and Caleb were super receptive to all my ideas and questions. They made time to carve out a day way before the start date of my major kitchen overhaul to create a door between my kitchen and laundry room (a total game changer for new parents).

Once the project was fully underway our main guys were Kevin, Sabre, and Steven. Mario was our electrician and he is a delight and a professional. They were polite, funny, efficient, and effective in their work. If you have this team you will be thrilled. Though the project went about a week over, we stayed pretty much on budget. Everyone worked with me and my husband to keep our budget reasonable and to make out project look FAR more expensive than it was. The finishing is impeccable and I know this kitchen is perfectly structurally sound, the electric is on point, and nothing will ever leak.

Great company. Excellent customer service and superior quality of work. Called them for a short-fused water damage job and they bent over backwards to fit me in. They also swapped out a couple of bad deck boards with the job. Solid pricing too. I would definitely use them again.

The entire team was very professional and very skilled. They would make suggestions if I needed help but were quick to point out they’d do whatever I wanted. They cleaned up after themselves daily and were a pleasure to have in my house. The finished project (my master bathroom came out exactly as I wanted and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants gorgeous, quality work.

My wife and I are very, very pleased with Tidewater Pro Build’s remodel of our master bathroom, and we are not the easiest customers to please. We had discussed a remodeling project for several years but it became a necessity when our master bathroom shower developed a leak that started to stain and drip through the ceiling of the room below it. After two different plumbers could not find the source of the leak, we knew something drastic had to happen, and that is where Tidewater Pro Build comes in. I called and left messages with several contractors and posted inquiries on several contractor websites. A few of them ignored my requests. One contractor said that most of his men lived in Virginia Beach and would not want to drive as far as Suffolk for a job. Tidewater Pro Build responded to my website inquiry in the middle of a Sunday morning. Frank, the Sales Manager said that when he saw that we were having a leak through the ceiling, he knew the job was urgent and wanted to make contact as soon as possible. Frank met with us later that day and just a day or two later, Tidewater Pro Build was at our house to troubleshoot. They had to take down the drywall around the shower to find the leak, but once it was isolated and the living room ceiling dried out, they did a beautiful job in repairing and painting the ceiling. We did a total makeover of the bathroom. Frank made some design recommendations during the initial walk-through planning. We met with Trey and Brian to develop our design and lay out our plans. Along the way, Trey made several very helpful suggestions that kept our supply costs under better control. He recommended strongly that we stick with one line of plumbing fixtures to ensure that the finishes matched throughout the room. Trey offered a very creative solution to our problem of where in the bathroom to relocate the linen cabinet. The demolition phase went very quickly. The rebuilding phase proceeded much more slowly, as they predicted it would. Quality work takes time. We needed the job completed by a wedding-date deadline, before out-of-town family started to arrive. And even though, about a week before the deadline, it looked like the project would not be finished, we had a fully functional master bathroom in time for the wedding. It was not a rushed patch-job to get the project finished; the last phases of the job were done as carefully and with as much craftsmanship as the earliest. There were a few touch-up items that needed to be addressed after the wedding and those were done on schedule. When we found a few more add-on punch list items we wanted fixed, Tidewater Pro Build did not hesitate to come to our house and correct them promptly. Sales Manager Frank even came out to inspect the project when it was completed to ensure our satisfaction. This is the kind of customer service anyone would want from their home contractor. We now have a beautiful, designer-quality, custom master bathroom that is one of the prettiest rooms in the house and one of the nicest you will ever see. I will forward photographs to Tidewater Pro Build to post on their Facebook page when we have all the furnishings and décor in place. There are a few already. Trey, Caleb, Robert, and their team at Tidewater Pro Build fully remodeled and expanded our master bathroom. Their work, service, honesty, and professionalism was incredible. The project consisted of a full demo, new floor tile, custom vanity, electrical, and a prestige walk in shower with 6” marble hexagon wall tile that’s immaculate. The detail and precision provided with the overall end result from start to finish is incomparable to any other professional we’ve worked with. The full project was completed before their initial ending timeline and due to their quality, professionalism, and knowledge we immediately continued to have our guest bathroom remodeled and an addition of new man cave over the garage.

Trey and his team remodeled my two bathrooms almost two years ago.
When I decided to remodel the kitchen, they were the first people I thought of. I knew what to expect and they did not disappoint.

Trey worked with me to come up with a design for the kitchen and pricing that was more to my liking. He and Kevin made it easy for me to select cabinets, counter tops, flooring etc. by bringing samples to get an idea of what I wanted, rather than me having to travel from store to store to pick everything out. I did some "looking" to get an idea of hardware, backsplash, etc., but they did all the shopping. If they thought something wouldn't work, they told me, but there was no pressure.

The thing that sets TPB apart is their attention to detail. They do the little things that I don't think anyone else would do. For example, they cut my speaker wire and ran it though the attic and down a corner to hide it behind wall trim. Much better than having it run along the baseboard.

The main worker bees were Kevin (lead) and Stephen. They were prompt and pleasant and it was a pleasure to have them working here. Mario, the electrician, was here several days to rewire and bring everything up to code. Great people, great job.

We trust Tidewater Pro with just about anything. Doesn't matter, the job. They always exceed expectations and we love working with them! They answer my calls and questions every time, no matter what time. We won't use anybody else!! I should add- they are very respectful and don't talk down to me be because I'm a female! BEST PART!

We live in the Chesapeake area and have had Trey work on three separate projects. He has done "outside" work to the finishing touches on our bathroom. Without a doubt, Trey is skilled in his craft, diligent in his work ethic, and has very good taste. Not to mention, Trey understands people. He was able to listen to our requests and interpret that message into excellent craftsmanship. Trey is also more concerned with the project being correct and liked than "nickel and dime-ing" the customer. I would highly recommend and we will use him in the future.

I have used Tidewater Pro Build for many projects on my house in Williamsburg. Before I bought the house, Trey and his team had remodeled the kitchen, and I was so impressed that I hired them to replace the roofing and siding. Outstanding job!! Then I hired them to gut and remodel the three bathrooms in the house. Another outstanding job, and the bathrooms are absolutely beautiful! Trey and his team made a number of recommendations that worked perfectly to make the most efficient use of odd space in the bathrooms. The quality of their work and their attention to detail and finishing touches were excellent. Finally, they recently put in a new joint driveway between my house and the neighbor's with a unique divider in the middle. Very functional and physically appealing. I give the company a 5-star rating and highly recommend them for any construction project.
