Customer feedback for Thompson Creek is mixed, with a significant number of positive experiences overshadowed by serious complaints regarding customer service and communication. Many customers praise the professionalism and attention to detail during installation, noting seamless communication from the initial consultation to completion. However, several reviews highlight difficulties in reaching the service department for follow-ups, with some users expressing frustration over unreturned calls and unresolved issues after installation. The high level of satisfaction with the installation process contrasts sharply with negative experiences related to customer support, which negatively impacts the overall perception.
- The communication throughout the whole process was wonderful and seamless.
- The installation team was very professional, timely and tidy.
- I couldn’t be more satisfied. That’s why we always come to you.
- Chris did not pressure us or make us feel uncomfortable in our own home.
- They made sure I was satisfied with their work and they took pride in what they were doing.
- After two days of leaving messages, still no call back from the service department.
- I have been waiting 40 mins now for someone to pick up.
- None of the project coordinators are returning calls or responding to emails.
- We were not expecting 16000 dollars which it was.
- They can't connect me directly to the service department, either.

Our daughter broke our living room window glass and it needed to be replaced. We called Thompson Creek from a flyer that was delivered to us and the experience from booking the consultation to the installation was great! The communication throughout the whole process was wonderful and seamless. The actual installation was perfect, there no damage to the exterior or interior. You honestly can't even tell it was replaced! We just needed the immediate relief of fixing this broken window right now, but will definitely be calling Thompson Creek for our future home projects!

We are trying to get in touch with the Thompson Creek service department to look at a window installed in 2018 that rattles. After two days of leaving messages, still no call back from the service department. I called again and asked for a supervisor. A supervisor might call me back "sometime", when they are "not busy", is what I was told by the local person answering the phone. But they said the supervisor can't actually help, they can only apologize. They can't connect me directly to the service department, either. The service department "doesn't like it" when someone is transferred to them from the call line, according to this person. What lousy service!

Everything went smoothly, I door is beautiful I love it. It was expensive but I don’t mind paying for good service. I didn’t have to keep calling or do anything really. They took care of me start to finish.
Update - My door will not latch and stay closed I have to call for days none of the project coordinator are returning calls or responding to emails. I paid way too much money for this type of service. I have been waiting 40 mins now for someone to pick up. I want a refund just give me my old door back because this one is dangerous.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
