Thermo Expert

I have had most of my home’s windows replaced by Thermo Expert. I highly recommend them. Fair price, wonderful people, and a lifetime guarantee…what’s not to love?!

Lee and his Team at Thermo Experts just replaced all of our Windows in New Lebanon, NY February 22nd. We could not be happier…his crew were all very polite, neat, and even cleaned our floor after. He sold us the perfect Energy Star Rated windows for our region and we live up a mountain! From the initial appt. to the completion it was a real pleasure. His team work in unison because they like what they do and have been together for over 11 years! We highly recommend their services, no VM’s you can always reach someone including Lee. Thermo expert!! I would say so. The 3 man crew came right on time. Replaced8 windows at my home. Excellent work. Very efficient and quick. Very polite and skilled men. They did the whole house 33 years ago. And there still doing great work now. Time proved this company. Thank you

In summer 2023 I decided to replace all of my windows. I got five quotes and this was the second most expensive company. These windows leak freezing cold air all around the outside of them where the insulation is but also all around the caulk that is on the outside of the window. I had to battle with this company and the manufacturer who makes the windows to try to put more insulation around them and apply more caulk where air seeps in and it was nothing but fighting. I had to call Thermo Expert at least five times to get them to come out because I was not satisfied. Even after the manufacturer put additional insulation around the outside there is still freezing cold air that comes in both around the window and around the caulk that Thermo Expert used for installation. Every time I was able to get someone to come to my house they of course gaslit me and told me that there was no cold air coming in. Finally the owner offered to replace one of the windows with a triple pane window which naturally wouldn't solve the problem but I said okay. Of course nobody called me to follow up and I didn't have the energy to keep fighting with them. I'm still so angry as this is the second winter I've been freezing in my house as my heat comes on way more frequently than it should. Don't waste your money on this company that sells garbage windows at a high price. This is the worst money I've ever spent on my house, what an expensive mistake.

Thermo Expert installed six windows on Tuesday, October 29th. The three installers were professional in all aspects of the install. They answered all questions we had during and after the process They used tarps inside under every window and were constantly making use of their vacuum. At the end, the house was left spotless, and the quality of the windows and install was beyond expectation. We recommend Thermo Expert to anyone looking for quality windows and workmanship!

Thermo Expert installed living room windows over 12 years ago so after we removed the air conditioner from the window, I flipped it to clean the outside and the pin snapped. We contacted Thermo Expert that evening around 6:00 pm. Allen, Lee’s son, got back to me right away. We were able to get the window back even though Allen was willing to send somebody over that evening. Long story short, they had the part in their shop, came over in the morning and replaced the broken part! Awesome service for windows that were replaced years ago. Thank you

This is an addendum to the review listed above. Unfortunately, the window failed again so
Lee the owner came over to assess. Lee was able to get the window back on track but the window needed new parts. Long story short, parts not available on a discontinued window. Lee went and ordered a brand new window. His team of 3 guys installed the new one at;0 charge to us. Lee also showed up to make sure things were on track. I cannot thank these guys enough, who are super nice and professional and Thermo Expert for a wonderful experience, a professional job and excellent customer service. I recommend the highly.

Thermo Expert replaced several windows and an entry door to my house last year. They were professional and considerate, and did an excellent job. This month I had a small problem with the storm door they had installed, and they returned immediately and took care of it. They are responsive and concerned and do excellent work. I recommend them highly.

We just had 12 double hung, 1 sliding window and 1 bow window installed. Right from the beginning Thermo Expert has stood out. We had had one estimate previously and I wish we had just started with Thermo Expert! Steve was very thorough in answering all of our questions without being long winded and wasting our time. We appreciated his kindness, humor, and no pressure approach. And from there everythin went off without a hitch. The installation team (Bruno, Jamal, and Matt) were awesome. I work from home so they were very helpful in starting in my office so I could get back to work quickly. No question ever seem annoying to them. Now a week later, we had a couple questions and they were right back out to answer them for us. On top of all that they were just super nice, polite, responsible guys to have working in our home. Plus they loved my dog, Cooper! He is sad they are done but we are thrilled to have such nice new windows. I can't recommend ThermoExpert enough!

I just had new windows installed in my house and they look ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! A team of 4 gentlemen showed up as I was having 13 windows replaced and every last one of them was very polite, professional and all around just great. As a business owner myself, I can say without question that all 4 gentlemen definitely represented their employer well in both mannerism and workmanship and the employer is lucky to have such great employees! I highly recommend Thermo Expert and would definitely use them again.

I Wish We Did It Sooner!

I recently had my windows replaced and installed by Thermo-Expert, Pittsfield, MA. The process was very easy with this local company (since 1984) and their professional installers. They replaced all our home’s original Andersen windows and deck door and the difference was remarkable and affordable.

We had 6 basement slider, 1 picture, and 1 casement window all replaced. All windows are good quality with U = 0.28, made in Mass. Sales process was easy and simple, no pushy sales spiels. Installers were friendly and efficient. Done in a day. They sealed up around each window with foam and caulk so they're nice a tight with no leaks.

Allen has been an Unbelievable communicator throughout… any question that arises , he responds within the hour.. they had to replace old rollout windows and a part fell to the ground and dented the screen door.. they replaced it immediately.. this is how a business should run.. use thermo expert!! They really are the best!

This company has a very good service department. I’m not at odds at all with the people who installed my window or the salesman. The problem is with the product. I paid good money for two windows in the kitchen. One of the windows were scratched and had to be replaced. The other window was also scratched. It shows when the light is just right on the window. Also, the edging around the windows are defective. I don’t know where they get the windows but they sure are not the best quality.

Lee the owner was extremely rude. Argued with me and told me he didn’t get why we didn’t want 2 keep 2 non matching windows in the house when he was there to put all matching windows. When I wouldn’t sign the contract right away without my husband there he said he didn’t know why he bothered coming. When I told him he was unprofessional he told me to get over myself. Sad, because his salesman was so kind. Bring your business elsewhere. The one star goes to his salesman who was apologetic.in the contract he also puts you must review his business which is ILLEGAL. Have the contract and screenshots to back this up. So these positive reviews are solicited from customers contracts !

Edit: After numerous cold nights and terrible winds, the windows have been one of the best improvements for the house. In comparison to the old windows, I can barely hear the road outside, no wind comes through, and heat doesn't escape out the windows!

I had Thermo Expert replace the old single pane windows on my porch. This was not an easy job for them. Being an old house nothing level. Installers did an excellent job. So now I have Thermo Expert coming back to do the back porch. No issues and great customer service.

Thermo Expert installed the windows on my property in Great Barrington. The installers, Matt & Jamal, arrived on time and were extremely courteous and professional. The windows not only look great, but they has reduced the heating cost.
