We recently moved into a new place and discovered our attic was infested with mice, and the attic insulation was disgusting.

I found Mike online, and he came out personally to assess the situation and take measurements. He sent a 2-man crew to clean out and disinfect our attic, which is about 1,100 square feet. The young men were very respectful and hardworking, something I appreciated. The process took longer than anticipated, but when I reached out to Mike with some concerns, he returned and personally addressed all the issues until everything was nearly perfect. He even shared some tips on what he did in his house for HVAC.

I highly recommend Mike's attic clean-up services because he stood by his work when concerns arose and did whatever was necessary to ensure customer satisfaction, he was prompt in replying and preparing quotes, he has the good ol' fashioned customer service heart, and he is just a really great guy when you get to talk to him! That's what gives it a 5-star rating for me.

I requested quotes from 2 companies for removing old insulation, sealing up cracks for energy efficiency and to blow in new insulation in my attic. I ultimately went with The Home Energy Pros. Not only were they way less expensive, but they didn’t try to sell me on stuff I ultimately didn’t even request. Michael from the team told me exactly how the job was going to be done and just got the job done. The team cleaned up after themselves which was greatly appreciated. When they finished, Michael brought me to the attic and gave me a rundown on everything they had done. He wanted my approval before they got paid and asked if I had any questions. That was a nice touch, because I really felt they wanted me to be 100% satisfied with the job.

I called maybe 6+ places to get pricing on blow-in insulation for our cape style home with dormers. Michael, from The Home Energy Pros, came out from CT to visit us in Westchester County. He's a very knowledge guy, friendly, and was willing to answer every one of my questions (and I had a few technical ones, I do a lot of research).
I asked him about other things going on with my house and his experience in the field really showed. I was waiting on another company to provide an estimate and realized I wanted to work with Michael right away! I called him and he was, by pure chance, able to fit me in the same week (I called on a Mon, his guys came on Thu) since another client of his had to cancel.
Frank and Tom, the close assosciates of his, came out and introduced themselves. They explained everything they were going to do and confirmed where they needed to drill holes externally to fill our balloon frame walls. They were diligent, patient, and respectful also answering my questions as needed.
Job was mostly finished in 2 days, with Michael on-site the second day. They still had to do the dormers and they came out for a half day to put down plastic, drill from the inside, and fill the empty spaces -- even noting a space I didnt think could be filled (under the window). They cleaned up the site and vacummed, took a look outside the house and made sure everything else was satisfactory.
I feel very fortunate that Michael is in business and we were able to agree on budget, timing, and work style. Michael - if you and your guys expand into other home services, please let me know! I would hire you all in a heartbeat.

HEP showed up for a quote and ended up letting me know my gable fan was not installed correctly! They gave me helpful advice to fix the problem on my own and also offered to fix it if I wasn't comfortable doing it myself. These guys are great, straight forward and took the time to explain things to me. I felt comfortable which helps a lot being a first time homeowner.

I wish I didn’t wait so long to reach out to The Home Energy Pros. The cape i live in used to be almost unlivable it was so hot in the summer. The salesman came out and didn’t hesitate to go into my attic to investigate, when other companies gave me quotes without wanting to leave my living room. He showed me photos of exactly what the problems were and how to fix them.
On the day of the install the head guy introduced everyone before laying plastic to protect my floors and bedrooms. The process seemed to go smoothly without any surprises. At the end they insisted on doing a fantastic cleanup despite telling them it was good enough. Throughout the day they were all perfect gentlemen and made me feel comfortable having them in my home.
