Scam artists: I had a sewer back-up, and put in an insurance claim late last year. They got called in as a 3rd party verification service. My sewer pipe leaves the house on the West side to meet city piping. The techs verbally told me that my sewer pipe went out of the house on the East side, which is not true. I found out later, that since they were reporting that the breach was outside of the building envelope, the claim would be denied, which it was. I later opened up the sewer pipe and easily determined (and took pictures) that it does not leave the house on the opposite side. On the day of service, after hearing from the insurance rep that the claim was denied, I texted the tech to revise their report, as there was no way the sewer pipe went outside the house on the opposite side of the actual exit. They replied, that they were hired to see if there was a blockage or breach, and not the location. So they lied in the text.

What an amazing company! Had a broken 4" water line for the standpipe system for a big apartment building under the ground somehow. We could hear it inside the building - that's how bad it was. They came out with their tools and marked a spot on the ground. They were within 1 ft - saved so much money on potential digging and destruction. A lifesaver of a company - def recommend to anyone with a hidden leak under the ground!!

Isaac and Tom responded to our emergency domestic water leak for a private school in Stamford the next morning, approx 300’ run of 4” water main, under a hallway, a class room, then exiting the building into a frozen grass area, they showed up early in the morning and gave us a reasonable idea where the leak was. He suggested a plumber add a fitting to the pipe where he could work his magic to pin point the leak. Isaac and Tom returned to the site later the same day and spent some more time and diligence to pinpoint the leak. Our crew excavated at the location suggested by Isaac; in the 20x30 classroom! And as we uncovered the pipe in the small suggested area, we located both the main, and then the leak, approx 18” from where they pin pointed it! We appreciate most excellent work; we had to dig in the right place, and without Isaac and Tom and their diligence and willingness to come back and pin point it; we would not been using anyone’s time wisely. To be within 18” over 300’ without any water surfacing; is like hitting the center of the bullseye with a bow and arrow! We thank Isaac, Tom the entire crew for their excellent work.

My house is older and remodeled. My plumber did not want to make multiple holes to find the leak. So I called American Leak detection. Tom was able to find the leak without causing any holes within 30 min. He was smart to look at the radiator on the 2nd floor first. Tom was very polite and professional. This service is definitely worth the money if you the plumber can’t find the leak without being too invasive.
Glad I went this rout as opposed to letting my plumber make multiple holes to find the leak.

Isaac Suazo from American Leak detection was INCREDIBLE!! He found a leak within an hour that had been bothering us for months and we just hadn’t been able to locate it. Not only was he an expert in the field but also a super nice guy. We’ll definitely be hiring him again and again. 5 star service for sure. :)

Isaac & Jeff saved me over $20,000!!! I had a different company come to diagnose my pool’s leak and was told they couldn’t find it and I should replace the liner at a cost of at least 20k. I called A.L.D. for a second opinion and in less then 3 hours, they found the leak and repaired it. Other then my wife agreeing to marry me, never been more excited to give someone a hug.

We put a brand new liner in our in-ground pool last summer only to be frustrated beyond measure with the pool company who installed it. The only thing they did right was give us the number to call American Leak Detection! They came out and found not one but 3 leaks!! Their customer service was the best!! Good old fashioned customer care. A rare commodity these days! So worth the money to have their expertise and service!
