I appreciated how responsive the team was before and during the project and how diligent they were in making sure that they had a satisfied customer. Moreover, Chad itemized all of the work so I could review what I was purchasing. With jobs like this, you often only get a high level outline of the scope and issues with scope misalignment almost inevitably arise. We sustained flooding damage to our house in August of 2024 and Chad responded to our house on the day of the incident and provided us with initial remediation techniques and set us up with ventilation and mold prevention. We had a very positive experience with New England Restoration and will use them again.

I had basement flooding mid August, and after calling all the usual suspects, a friend recommended New England Restoration. Not only did they come in under all the other estimates, but their timeline was the quickest as well. This all was done at a time when every company in this business was stretched to the limit because the area had had historic rains and practically everyone’s basement had taken in water. They did a fantastic job removing the damaged parts of the basement and drying the space out. Excellent company that does excellent work! Highly recommended!!!

N.E Restoration LLC is a company that hires subcontractors and end up not paying them. Chad has an outstanding balance of $13,850. Chad, contracted our company to perform a roofing project at 49 Poverty Hollow Rd in Newtown, CT. The project commenced on 02-08-2024 and was completed by 2-10-2024.

The initial estimate for a full Roof Replacement was $18,850, of which Chad was required to provide a deposit of $10,000 to initiate the work. However, Chad only provided $5,000 before the project commenced and was supposed to provide the remaining $5,000 on the day the project began. Unfortunately, Chad failed to show up at the property as agreed.

Upon completion of the project, Chad was obligated to settle the full balance, which has not been fulfilled. Despite numerous attempts by us to contact Chad via emails and text messages for payment collection, he has been unresponsive. Even after sending the invoice to Paul, the backup contact, there has been no progress in receiving the outstanding payment.This situation has caused significant financial strain as we have labor and material suppliers to compensate. Upon reaching out to the property owner at 49 Poverty Hollow Rd, I was informed that she had settled her dues in full some time ago. Additionally, another contractor has been attempting to collect payment from N.E Restoration LLC.
If you’re a homeowner trying to get a job done by this company be careful because you’re house could be liened if the contractor N.E Restoration owes money to subcontractors like us.

I fell bad for this review, but 3 of my friends work for Chad, fill weeks, working hard 6 days per week and never got paid. This is not right. They did an excellent job, the customer was very happy with the job and Chad doesn’t care. Over 7 months and he still didn’t pay them. This is not a good way to do business .

Chad was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and the work he and his team did was top notch, thorough, and professional. Highly recommend for basement repair and remediation!

Chad came out quickly to do a review of the damage. Seemed like a great guy and has worked with our insurance and our plumber in the past. Not to mention their home office is around the corner from our home. Promised to get me the quote in a week, nothing came. I called him back and again he promised end of week. He just dropped the ball its been 3 - 4 weeks and I can't even get someone to pick up the phone. Unfortunately I have to go elsewhere as the mold is growing. I'm guessing if you have a huge job he'll call you back, but if its small to medium he won't.

Ryan and his crew were great! We had experienced water damage from a burst pipe in the basement and a previous company did a lousy job remediating the mold. Ryan assessed the situation immediately and had his crew there the next day to begin work. There was so much that had to be disposed of and his crew handled it properly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needed help with mold remediation.

I was very impressed with how fast they responded to my phone call. I scheduled an appointment for the next day and Ryan was right on time. He inspected the area in question and confirmed it was a small job but needed to be treated. He returned the next morning with one of his technicians and completed the job as promised. Two days later we received an email with a copy of the Mold Remediation Certificate of Completion. To notch work and very professional.

My husband and I are soooooo happy with the work that was done on our kitchen! We love Chad, Paul and all who were involved in completing our kitchen and also the floors in our mud room due to a kitchen sink leak. The work is very professional and top notch. The owner came to our home to check out our attic mold after I filled out a form on their website. He seemed great and knew what he was talking about. Told us that he would provide me with a breakout of what needed to be done to fix the mold issue and costs associated. It has been a week and he hasn't responded to any of my emails. Maybe they are just too busy with other clients, I'm not sure.

Chad, Paul and all of the other fine employees were amazing! They all went above & beyond to make a serious water (flooding) issue so much easier! I recommend them highly and cannot say enough good things about them and how much better the entire experience was because of each and every one of them! My basement is as good as new and I am so thankful to them!

Normally this company does not travel as far as the very North West corner of CT but they did for us. Their team was wonderful from the service department to the Admin. department. They were respectful and wore masks for Covid protocols and well as booties to keep our floors clean. Anything we had in the attic was covered and they took pictures to show us their progress. I have already recommended this company to my friends that know what we were going thru and wouldn't hesitate to call them again! what a great team too bad more contractors weren't like this!

I had a water compressor overflow, not knowing what to do I called New England Restoration. They came in advised me on all my questions and next steps. When they came over they immediately assessed the situation and started remediation. Worked directly with the insurance company taking the stress off my shoulders. You know you are in good hands when your insurance adjuster is happy to hear the company your using. The reconstruction left everything better than it was in every way. Could not be happier with the results. Took a bad situation and turned it into a win. I’d recommend to anyone.

Chad and Paul were very professional and helpful in advising us on the steps to take to remedy our attic situation. The workers led by Clay were friendly and hard working . They even showed up to work in our attic during a heat wave in order to help us meet a real estate deadline. We highly recommend their services.

New England Restoration was there when I needed them in a big way, when my basement flooded due to a failed sump pump the night that the remnants of hurricane Ida dumped record-breaking rain on us. Chad and his team were lightning fast to respond and offered up great advice on what to do until they were able to get there. You can imagine my stress and anguish when I learned a realtor showing my house discovered a frozen pipe had burst, causing extensive water damage. Worse yet, I work overseas and had no way of being on site to deal with the disaster. Chad came to the rescue. He immediately fixed the damage, helped deal with the insurance company, and got everything ready to put the house back on the market as soon possible. He did such a great job that I hired him again for unrelated repairs needed to close the sale. Chad was always professional, responsive, and mindful of my wallet. I would gladly hire him again.

We had a septic clog which flooded the bathroom and ruined basement, bathroom, hallway, including hardwood floors and carpet. They were out immediately to get the cleanup done so we didn’t have to do any of that ourselves. Between the insurance and mortgage company red tape, getting everything taken care of took some time but along the way NE Restoration took great care of us and did an outstanding job. Everyone who did the work was professional and courteous and wanted to do whatever they could to make us happy. I don’t recommend having a disaster but these guys can help if you do run into one!!!

They responded quickly to an emergency plumbing leak. Chad kept me updated on timeline of repairs. Was able to walk me through the insurance claim process without an issues. Thank you so much.

The connecting hose under my kitchen sink had a hole in it and, as a result, water poured out from under the sink onto the kitchen floor and down to the basement. Within just a few hours after the plumber fixed the hose the nice guys from New England Restoration came to my rescue. They worked quickly, setting up dehumidifiers and fans to dry it out. They also sprayed the basement to prevent mold from growing. I was very happy with the job they did.

The first floor of our home was damaged by water. The New England Restoration guys were great. They were professional, cleaned up every day, were fast (the whole project once it started was less than 10 days...the damage was a bigger deal than I originally thought- everything had to be stripped to the studs and concrete floor). They did a fantastic job! I have already recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

Avoid this company at all costs. I never leave reviews but feel like it is my civic obligation to inform others about the terrible experience I had dealing with Chad and his company New England Restoration. Expensive, unprofessional, and dishonest would be the best adjectives to describe this company without getting into too many details. Please call someone else if you want real help.

Wow ... not sure what else I could have asked for. They responded very quickly to our situation and began the clean up so our business could be up and running. They communicated daily with us on the progress being made. Very importantly, NE Restoration was extremely helpful in identifying the work needed to get our property back to its original state and then met and spoke with our insurance adjustor to explain. It was very comforting that we had experts in our corner helping us get back on our feet quickly and to get the right settlement with the insurance company. I hope I don't need them again but if i do, I am calling New England Restoration!

I had serious water damage to my multi family home, not only did I loose money from items thrown away and photos not provided, getting them on the phone for help or further work was a nightmare and they did a horrible job when that happened to boot in making my claim not easy and effective and took forever to add to my stress in a number of matters. I ended up getting another company which was helpful and like night and day. I would never recommend them to anyone.
