I got a quote to fix my issue for $2,000. Luckily the guy never came to finish the job. I ended up calling 3 other companies to which no one called me back. Walter did the job for $150. He was professional, job was done quick and he maintained good communication. We will definitely be using him again!

Walter and his crew removed three old interior doors and replaced them with new ones and I could not be more pleased. He did what he said he would do; was always on time and did the work for a fair price. This coming Winter he will be doing some interior painting for me.

After doing some research on local Handyman services I decided to go with 'The Handyman Can' and am extremely pleased with the professionalism and quality of work from Walter and his crew. We have used this company several times for projects as power washing a fence, our house, and cement patio and sidewalks. Also cleaning gutters, indoor caulking, and hanging a display case. Walter the owner, calls each time to call confirm appointments, change appointment if necessary. Walter explained each job, how it would be done, time it would take to complete, and estimates have been right on target.

Used the handyman can company for a misc list of things including drywall repair, gutter cleaning, power washing my house, and dryer vent cleaning..very impressed that they even answered the call even on a Sunday and has full insurance. Called 5 other companies that never called back... Further more showed up on time did the work , very clean. Also threw in a couple other small things while he was there at no extra charge. What a gentleman and a terrific and knowable handyman. I have already referred him to my mother. And after him getting that job he dropped off a $30 gas card as a thank you. Awesome guys. We will definitely be using them again for any future projects.

The handyman company is really great guys. I hired them to do gutter cleaning. They also found several shingles and other minor issues that could have cost me thousands. But the repairs were done and photos taken to show me they completed work. Very happy with them and will refer them out to my neighbors.

Ive had him to the house to do work, i wasnt impressed. He sat and supervised while his helper did the work. His estimate prices seem rather high with the amount of competition out there. Gives the same reasoning, " i dont have illegals working for me and i have insurance ". Every company i have hired has produced insurance documents and no worker appeared to be an immigrant. However, werent most of our families immigrants at some point? He keeps records of who he does work for and more specifically if you get his estimate and dont have the work done. He became bitter and reminded me of that when last i attempted to use his services. If someone is going to sit in the kitchen an drink coffee while work is done, it should be me, not the guy im paying to do the work.
Just an update...i was contacted and lambasted for my review. Didnt deny anything i mentioned, narrow mindedly tried to explain the points i made and how i made them. He explained that if he had coffee, it was because we offered. Actually we didn't, he asked. We did say yes. He forgets asking if we were going to be making a fresh pot? Something that caught my wife and i off guard , coming from a service provider, and something i didnt mention in my review. He didnt appreciate that my review, according to him, made it seem as if he" sat and drank coffee all day", his words. Truth is , at some point he did finish his coffee ! Lol i stand by this very fair review considering the totality of events. He Made no attempt to resolve but did threaten to, "carry this further if i have to". He is done in my book.

Excellent service and workmanship. They removed some cabinets so a larger refrigerator could be retrofitted, installed a new interior door, and installed two dog doors, one of which was technically difficult due to the size of the dog door and the surface of the existing exterior door. Could not be happier. Walter walked me through each step of the process all the way from selecting the correct sized dog door to troubleshooting which exterior door would work the best. They brought all of the supplies, I did not have to deal with the hassle of purchasing the new interior door or assuring I did the measurements correctly. I have them lined up for some deck work next.

Update- we had them come back to do two more projects and again we are very satisfied

We were having trouble finding someone to install my AC over the summer. We spoke to a neighbor who suggested The Handyman Can and when we spoke to Walter he came the very next day with no trouble at all. Him and his partner Installed our AC in on short timing on one of the hottest days we had this summer. He even followed up with me a week later to make sure it was working well. He has done a few more jobs, for example, cleaning the gutters and power wash the house which looks amazing. We are very satisfied with his service!

Was in a bind after a bad storm. Multiple trees were knocked down causing damage to my deck, gutters, and roof. Walter was awesome and took care of me. The repairs were done quickly and within budget. He even went as far as adding support beams to the deck stairs. Far exceeding my expectations. Called Walter off of a craigslist ad when we needed some quotes to fix fire damage to our deck. Walter gave a reasonable quote for fixing the damage and a fair quote to replace all of the deck boards. He was efficient, worked full days and NEVER did anything without first asking me. I found Walter to be professional as well as just all all around decent and nice guy. Cleaned up completely after the job and even replaced some roof boots for us for free and because of the cost of the deck job. I would not hesitate to recommend Walter and his company to anyone.

Walter installed a window AC unit in my son's APT. He is quick and great to work with . He went of his way to put us in his busy work schedule. I highly recommend Walter for his customer care service and great job.

Very clean and professional. The handyman crew has done several projects on our house over the course of several years. Ripped out our old deck and rebuild it, then stained it the following year. Cleaned out our gutters and clogged down spouts. Removed the old and faded shutters that were on our house and replaced them with new ones. Power washed our entire house, including the roof. They have also done a lot of miscellaneous repairs around the house, such as painting, touch ups, even repaired our kitchen cabinets. Walter has also referred other contractors that he networks with to do other projects around our house, they were also professional and understanding. My wife and me highly recommend Walter to all of our friends, give him a call!
