steve was up front and honest. came to the house for an estimate. we wanted to add windows to a room and he said now wasn’t the right time and he wouldn’t recommend it due to the wainscoting in our dining room. this to me shows someone who is honest and isn’t trying to sell you on products to get money. definitely recommend this company for sure!

At this point, Steve and Northern have replaced our roof, they did our windows & New Shutters, and they just did all three doors (Front, Back, & Sliding Glass). There is nothing left to do. I wish he did kitchens!

Last week (4/8/ & 4/9/25)Brian and Ed of Northern Windows replaced our original 1987 four large picture windows in our Timber Valley, Ramsey, NJ Condo. They did an excellent job installing these oversized windows along with replacing 38 years old frame rot that was no joking matter. These two workmen and our Salesperson, Steve, displayed utmost professionalism! This is our fourth job with Northern Windows using them for windows & roofing at our family home in Washingtonville, NY many years ago. Recently used Northern Windows for new siding, a new roof on an extension and new windows and sliding door. Everything was seamless from the moment we met with Steve to go over our project to the completion of the project. We were constantly updated about the timeframe for our windows/siding to be delivered and for project to start. Steve went out of his way to make sure things ran smoothly since we were on a tight timeline for our extension. He then came to check the work after completion. I was quite pleased with the work ethic and the job done by Manuel Espinoza and his team on the replacement of my roof in June 2024. They worked conscientously and dilligently on the job. I watched and interacted with them throughout the process, and any issues or concerns that I had were quickly addressed.

Similarly, I was happy that Dan Kilpatrick was able to address my scheduling concerns, and I found all those whom I interacted with at NWSR&I to be both courteous and helpful.

I think Northern Windows was the best choice for me. I had 4 other companies come to my home and just go on an on about the product and how I needed it rather than just hear what I was saying. Northern had a better sense and understanding of what needed to be done and not so much about how other companies fall short. The installers were even better than the initial visit. They 100% care about their work. You had guys installing windows for as long as I been on this earth. Nothing short of perfection. I’m very hard on companies and on the work that they do and I have nothing negative to say about the 3 bay windows they replaced plus the siding. I recommend Northern to anyone who’s meticulous as I am about details.

Look no further. Northern Windows replaced the double windows in our 3 bedrooms. Yes - I did get a few estimates from different companies - but Northern Windows was clearly the best choice. From the initial consult with Steve, they were very professional, patient, and competitive in price. They explained every step - how long it would take - and all my options. Ted and Jake were my installers and on the day of installation - they couldn't have been more professional. Explained everything, stayed out of our way - and went about their job with no problems. I even offered them lunch - which they declined. Very clean, quiet, and did a thoroughly fantastic job. There was a very microscopic tear in one of the screens and Ted said it was not acceptable - and he would get it replaced - but I couldn't even see it. So incredibly professional and caring. Anderson might have a bigger name - but absolutely not worth it - Northern Window was great.

We got new windows for the entire house. Northern Windows was professional. The windows were all completed in two day. We also got gables and ventilation installed in our attic and they were very quick to complete the project. The windows and ventilation look great!

My wife and I just completed our third project, with Northern Windows, in February 2024.
The first project was to replace the roof on a shed in April 2023. The second project was to replace all of the windows in our home including a picture window with a bow window.
Steve was the sales representative for each project. He was very professional, personable and knowledgeable of the products. He was also helpful in discussing and selecting the different features and options for the projects, including the installation.
All of the projects went smoothly and were accomplished on schedule.

Anthony and his team did a wonderful job with replacing the windows. He is also the one who measures each window to make sure the new ones fit properly. Ted and Jason installed the new doors. They tended to all of the details including some unexpected issues which were resolved, on the spot without additional cost or impeding the schedule.

The products are of good quality. The installation and the workman ship are neat and thorough. Everything fits together, as you would expect it too, and looks great when completed. The people are courteous, and clean up/remove all dust and debris when they are through.

In summary we highly recommend Northern Windows and will use them again for our next project.

Bought a new front door from Northern. The buying experience was
pleasant, the door came in when it was expected to be in, the office staff and installers were great and the door looks amazing. This was our second experience with Northern, we had all of our windows replaced by them several years ago. Would definitely use them again and would also recommend them to others.

My experience with Northern Roofing has been completely positive. I have a very busy roof requiring a lot of ridges and valleys to be addressed. The team worked from early morning and requiring spot lights when leaving. We had a lot of plants that needed to be protected since we were on the Warwick Garden Tour in 2022 and used large tarps from the roof across the plants to another tarp for the debris to slide down. Another team kept on picking up old roofing materials filling a dumpster and a half over three days. The property was returned to original and in some areas even cleaner than before. Thanks Tim and Manny the onsite manager for the great work.

Can not praise this company enough!!!! My kitchen windows were done today by Brian and Ryan and me and my husband couldn’t be happier! They were professional and did amazing work along with being fast! And their prices can’t be beat! We had 2 other companies quote us 25% more! We will be going back to get out other windows done soon!

This was one of the best home improvement experiences ever. I was initially greeted by Sasha the pup as I entered the showroom!! Then came Steve who helped me design the exact door I was looking for with ease. Next was Karen who gracefully helped me with the financial part. Then to Ted who came to measure and finally Chris and Anthony who did the install. Everyone was super professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy and the friendliest group I could've asked for. I have been a customer of Northern for many years. They installed vinyl siding and windows on my house. In 2020, they installed a sliding patio door. In August 2023 I had a problem with this door, through no fault of Northern. I spoke to Donna at Northern and they said they would fix the door at no cost to me. Northern is the best contractor I know of in Orange county. They stand behind their work and their customers. They are responsive, polite and willing to bend over backwards to make their customers happy. This latest interaction solidifies they are the best! I will be a Northern customer in the future.

Had our 27 year old vinyl replacement windows replaced with newer upgraded vinyl replacement and northern window did a great job 13 windows in one day because it was supposed to rain the next day they were staying until it was done highly recommend them

Northern is the best in the business, I have hired them on three separate occasions for replacement windows, replace a flat roof on back of house and to do vinyl siding. Tim is very knowledgeable, and a lot of fun to work with, an instant friend. Their work crews do an excellent job, thank you to Steve and Angelo. They also have a nice showroom in Goshen. I will certainly hire Northern again for future home improvements.

My roof looks amazing! From the sales person Steve, to Dan who managed the project and kept in touch and stopped in to check on things, to the contractors Manny and his team of installers to The trucker removing the debris and dumpster, to the gutter team lead by Tommy everyone was amazing!! They all took pride in the work and it was reflected in the followup call just to remind me that although they scan with the magnet to take up all nails to be careful with my dog in case one was missed!!!! Looking up at my roof it's beautiful and seamless from the top Of the roof to the top of the porch cover!! Even the trimmings to make sure that the water goes into the gutters and not end up in a puddle at my front door looks great (Steve you were right the trim looks amazing) This might seem trivial but following the rain last night and this morning I did not have to sweep away the water from my entry way on my porch..which has been annoying in more ways than can say!!
