I am the owner of a professional bat proofing company. The goat step assist has become an essential piece of equipment for me to work safely at heights. Perfect option for 8/12 pitch roofs or steeper. Hand holds for climbing and a foot stop to sit comfortably while working. I have had mine for 7 plus years and couldn’t imagine my job without this amazing safety option. Not expensive when compared to the “price” of a fall! Lightweight and practical. I proudly have this baby strapped to the roof of my truck on display for the world to see. This tool is professional grade!!!!
I am an insurance adjuster and I purchased this to help me on steeper roofs. When I received it, it was missing 6 of the hinge pins necessary for putting it together. It also had dings on the paint making me feel like it had been used. I emailed the company but received no response. So I went to the website and saw they have a no return/refund policy. Now I’m stuck with a $574 piece of unusable equipment. Unless, I want to pay $30 plus shipping and handling for a 10 pack of the hinge pins missing from my original order!!! Do not buy from this company. If you must buy, buy from Amazon. You may pay more, but at least your purchase is returnable/refundable and you won’t get screwed over.
I have this product and another on that you can rope off on. I use this one more often though. The other one is so big and heavy that it is difficult to flip it off the ridge. The goat is very easy to use and quick to setup.
