Customer reviews reveal a predominantly positive sentiment towards Family Man Handyman, with many praising their professionalism, communication, and quality of work. A significant number of clients appreciated the team's attentiveness to detail and responsiveness throughout their projects. However, there is a notable negative experience where one customer struggled to obtain a quote in a timely manner, which contrasts with the otherwise efficient service reported by most clients. Overall, the company is recognized for its reliable service and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- The entire process was smooth and stress-free, thanks to their excellent communication and attention to detail.
- They were very friendly and communicative, providing a breakdown of costs along with suggestions that fit my budget.
- I feel very confident recommending the handyman team for anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy company.
- They were responsive and able to complete the work in record time without compromising quality.
- The craftsmanship from the team is well above any we've had in past experiences.
- I couldn't seem to coordinate a quote from the team and felt the response time was unreasonably long.
- Quotes should take no more than a week, however, I received a request for more information two weeks later.
- Even though Codie was in a trainee status, I was charged the same labor rate for his work.

The Family Man Team, Zach and Brandon, worked hard to provide us the most thorough quote on our proposed House Addition. We decided not to pursue this project in the end for our own financial reasons, but we are still thoroughly impressed by their extra effort in determining electrical, plumbing, and the requirements for our upgrade. We highly recommend them for their thorough work, and will approach them again for future projects.

Unfortunately my experience with the team was far different from the other google reviews as I couldn't even seem to coordinate a quote from the team. We had a conversation on July 16th, 2024 to discuss scope and next steps. Dimensions were confirmed and photos were shared. Quotes should take no more than a week, however received a request for more information two weeks later! Sent over the additional information including photos and floor plans just to be told several days later (now almost three weeks) that estimates take about two weeks and that they were slammed with bigger jobs that were pushing out the estimate. Finally the middle to the following week I received information that they would like me to contact one of their subs because they are backlogged on estimates.
I get it - we all get busy, but after all the great reviews I felt completely de-prioritized. Found another contractor to get the work done (excellent work) and we are expanding the scope of the project. Best of luck to those looking to start a relationship with this team!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Family Man Construction on a home renovation project, and I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism, and the quality of their work. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and stress-free, thanks to their excellent communication and attention to detail.
The team at Family Man Construction demonstrated a deep understanding of our vision. They were patient with our questions and changes, providing valuable suggestions that enhanced the overall outcome.
They were punctual, respectful, and kept the work area clean and organized. They were knowledgeable and skilled, as was evident in the high-quality craftsmanship delivered. They were very pleasant and easy to work with.
The project was completed on time, within budget, with no hidden costs or surprises.
If you're looking for a reliable, honest, and skilled contractor for your next home project, I wholeheartedly recommend Family Man Construction.
We will definitely be using them for any future projects!

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
