Great company to use for inspection and repair of your wood burning stove and flue. Reasonable prices and just nice people!

I work with a management company, we have always used The Chimney Guy services a few times, and they always deliver good quality work, timely, and for a fair price. A pleasure working with them so far.

Great company. Kevin came out promptly and inspected our chimneys. One chimney is 100 years old, and he did great work to restore and strengthen it. Excellent craftsmanship, and they do what they say they'll do. The back office team was great too - very responsive and helpful with scheduling. I am very glad we found this company.

We have used The Chimney Guy for a number of years for cleanings and inspections of our chimney and fireplace. They explained the inspection report every time, and so it was no surprise when we finally needed to replace the fireplace and chimney. They did a great job, and we are very happy to have our new fireplace to enjoy.

Awesome job done by Rob and Jacob. They installed a stainless steel liner in our chimney with rain cap, top plate etc. Did masonary application of new crown to prevent water from going into chimney. Would definitely recommend this company. Very neat, left no mess and very nice guys. Thanks for a job well done

If I could give negative stars I would. Estimate was incredibly outrageous for work needing done. If you want a fair price go elsewhere. Roughly $600 in materials & less than a days labor should not cost just under $7,000. Paid less than this for two jobs that were way more labor intensive with more pricey materials.

Do not make a mistake giving your business to this company. I had to file a complaint to BBB. They do not take a responsibility for their work. The work was done poorly on my flashing, it all bubbled up and started to come off within few weeks of installment. The representatives hang up on you and don’t want to deal with you once you approach about an issue.

Excellent work done by Robert and Jason,. My chimney is repaired and looks great. They were very professional and very neat. I would highly recommend this company for anyone in need of chimney repair. We were very pleased with the results.

I needed to have the liner in my chimney replaced along with the damper. Justin was the contractor who did the work. He was an extremely hard worker...did an excellent job answering all my questions as well as leaving the inside and outside clean. I truly appreciate his professionalism!

We paid thousands of dollars to have our firebox and smoke chamber parged and sealed, as this is what they recommended before we lit any fires in our fireplace.

After many attempts, they were unable properly seal the fireplace. We still get unsafe levels of smoke in our living room when we try to light a fire. They were nice to come out several times to add more sealant or whatever they thought to try, but in the end we were left with no improvement and $2,500 less in our bank account. Every time I look at my chimney I feel sadness and annoyance. The last time they were here they just shrugged their shoulders, said “I don’t know what else to do”, and walked out.

The work that Kevin did was high quality and they were tidy and respectful, and even came out at a late hour one time. So they really did try, but they could not give us the results they promised and what we paid for. I guess they didn’t want to deal with us anymore.

Another big issue with this group of nice folks was their poor responsiveness. We had to literally harass them every time to get them to keep an appointment. When we were able to get an appointment, they never arrived at the agreed time. I understand they were having personnel problems, but in the end the customer should not be expected to bear the burden of that.

Just being nice people isn’t enough. They were unprofessional and didn’t solve our problem and took our money anyway.

I really didn’t want to write this damaging review, but I am left with no other next steps. I wish them luck in getting it together, and I regret getting this work done.

We recently had two jobs done by these folks and couldn't be more satisfied. Both times they were very polite and professional. Great group to work with. The more recent job was converting a wood burning fireplace into gas. They did an awesome job and it looks great. Looking forward to working with them again in the future. Would certainly recommend.

We recently bought our home and it was recommended we get an inspection before we lit a fire. The technician wrote us an estimate for upwards of 10,000$ in repairs and suggested running a camera up the chimney for an additional 100$ to examine the “extensive” damage.
Kevin took the camera charge off when we refused to pay the 400$ bill. A second opinion revealed our chimney is in great shape. Please get a second opinion. This company is overpriced and dishonest. Would absolutely not recommend this company for any inspection/ cleaning/ repair estimates.

To the chimney guy. You guys are awesome, we could not ask for a more professional company to do our chimney work. Your guys worked very hard and in the hot sun without stopping. Very nice down to earth people and we were very impressed. You also take care of veterans, as I am a Vietnam DAV and that means a lot.

After we had 3 consultations with different companies, we chose the Chimney guy. I had 4 chimneys with issues, 2 came down & 2 were repaired. We also had 3 gas fireplaces installed. Kevin and his crew couldn’t be better. After we had a chimney fire They installed a Brand new insulated chimney and stove. They did beautiful work within our budget. Belinda was there to respond to all of our questions and concerns throughout as well as coordinate with our insurance company. I would not us any another company to service our cleaning and maintenance.

Very satisfied with this company. There were prompt, very respectful, and wonderful workers. I would highly recommend them. Definitely if I needed I would call again.

The pilot light kept going out on my new water heater, due to a strong downdraft from my chimney. This was the day before Easter and during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic! I contacted them through the internet early that morning, and Belinda called me 2 hours later. Kevin and Jimmy came by at 4:30 pm and had a chimney liner installed by 6:30 pm. They took great care to keep everything clean and explained what they were doing while I watched. Very courteous, and the result was very neat and effective. They kept our Easter from turning into a disaster, and I was satisfied with the price.

I called The Chimney Guy before 10 am and they had someone out here before 1pm on the same day. Sean did an amazing job cleaning the chimney and our wood stove, by the time he was finished it looked brand new and he cleaned up everything when he was done. I would use this company again.

I was provided with an accurate, in depth estimate, free of charge. The crew which came to perform the work was always curteous, neat and very professional. Given estimate was fulfilled to the letter, I highly recommend this company!
