Thames Lawn Care, Pressure Washing, & Septic Service

I called them up and they were out the next morning, offered same day but I was working out of town. From the lady on the phone to the gentlemen that showed up to pump the tank, everyone was courteous and professional. They are the only ones I call if I have a situation with my septic system.

Great experience considering it was a Saturday emergency. Came out within 45 minutes and was done in about 45 minutes. Very professional and quick. Price was about what I expected considering everything has gone up the last few years.

My septic backed up on Mother's Day of all days. But even though it was a holiday, they answered the phone with kindness and were willing to come out that same day. I ended up scheduling the service for the following day at 7:30am. The guys showed 45 early and were fast, efficient and very kind. I priced others in the area and they are lowest I found and there is no comprise to the service they provided. Thank you Thames for making a crappy situation much better! Yes puns are included in the review... gotta laugh through life's challenges.

I would highly recommend this company if you are needing something done with your Septic they were very responsive and got out there within the hour. I had to have a lift station pump replaced and they told me they would get here first thing Monday morning. I got a call at 7 AM and they were there within the half hour and got it done so quickly. I would highly recommend them.

The service is excellent. Very prompt, time efficient and simply had the equipment to do the job in under 2 hours. The plumbers were very knowledgeable and professional. They diagnosed, strategized and executed. A1 service. Highly recommend.

Made a call for septic service. Was told that it would be about 30 minutes before someone could arrive. They were there within the timeframe given. Pointed out other issues that was causing the problem and was able to help with that as well. We are so thankful that we contacted them today. Very nice, caring, and informative. Highly recommend.

I own several rentals in the sumter area but live elsewhere. Just today (sunday) had a septic tank emergency and they responded in 30 min had the problem adressed in an hour. Excellent communication!

I had a septic tank emergency in which the septic tank on a rented property was backing into their house. I called late in the evening and they said they could come out asap. The customer service was the best I’ve ever had in Sumter from any line of business. The price was fair and the team that came out to do the job was professional but friendly. I would refer Thames Septic to anyone with Septic Tank issues.

Jeremy and his forman, that's been with him for 22 yrs. Went above and beyond getting my septic problems completely fixed. I had 2 of his local competitors come out to look for a solution and to give quotes. All they kept saying was "this is going to be expensive and a landscape nightmare" and we'll get back to you with a quote! I never heard from either company again!
I was praying about our situation and was led to call Thames, Jeremy came out the same day and spent 2 hrs here working on a solution, came back the next day and worked another 2 hrs and never charged me a penny! He said it was not what he felt was a long-term solution. I was amazed! No one comes and works 4 hrs and doesn't charge lol!! He and his foreman came back today and was here for ab 6 hrs and my problem has been solved, fixed permanently and cleaned!
They're real professionals, extremely knowledgeable and I will NEVER use anyone but them, and I highly recommend them!

Thames was absolutely amazing, they came out Christmas Eve to pump our septic and arrived within 30mins of calling them. Then we backed up again just over a week later and they came out and we were told it was our drain field and it had to be replaced. They were very fair priced and even started the very next day on it knowing I had to find a way to come up with the money to pay for it. They didn’t even hesitate and told me not to worry to call them and let them know my plan and they were there the next day doing it knowing it was going to be another 2 weeks before I could pay them! They are truly amazing and great people to work with. I will definitely be calling them anytime we need anything with our septic which I hope won’t be anytime soon

I called with a septic emergency on Sunday at 2:45pm and I had a technician at my house in Camden before 4 pm (he came from Sumter). He was very knowledgeable, courteous and was done very quickly. Great service!!

We were in a pinch with a backed up system on a holiday. Thames came out and solved our problem. Owner is a genuine guy, so grateful.

I had a 20-year-old sprinkler system full of rust deposits. They came out replace the pump rebuilt the manifolds and did not give up until it worked perfectly. Guys are great and reasonably priced!

We had a great experience. The pricing was alittle steep, but overall good. Sqeaky was our service guy and was very friendly and thorough. Only complaint was still being plugged up after he left. Overall service to the tank was exceptional. Thanks for the quick response! Also, maybe a military discount on a military holiday would have been nice.

Was experiencing some septic issues/toilets backing up into bathtub. I called and within 45 minutes they were here and pumping. Great customer service very knowledgeable.

Our neighbor called and was offered a discount if we had 3 or more pumping our septic tanks at the same time so of course we all agreed and they were able to come out the same day. They were very pleasant and got a job I wouldn’t want done.

I found thames when I needed them for an emergency pump due to all the rain we had. We have some septic tank issues at the moment so we have had to use them more than the average person.

However, they will be doing a new septic system for us when we have the money to do so.

I’m absolutely pleased with the septic tank service I received! My tank was scheduled to be emptied at 8 a.m., but I received a call telling me that Mr. Thames was running late because he’d gone to an even earlier appointment and had been working extremely hard to uncover a tank that was in an area that kept flooding due to the downpour of rain. I admired him for the hard work even though it had nothing to do with me. When he finally got to my house, he worked quickly to pump the tank. After finishing, he came to my door an offered a sincere apology for his late arrival. I didn’t need an apology, but I was totally impressed with his sincerity and professionalism. I highly recommend Mr. Thames if you’re reading this review and considering hiring him. The truck slogan is hilarious since I’m an ex-teacher! Thank you for a job well done.

John did a very thorough cleaning of our tank. This is how it looked before! Didn't take an after picture but it was restored to optimal condition. Highly recommend!

If I could give them more stars I would they came out in the cold in middle of night to pump our tank very nice and professional would highly recommend
