Thales and his team did an amazing job on our deck at a better price than the general contractors I contacted. We started with wanting a full replacement of our upper deck with new deck boards on the lower deck but realized both deck structures were compromised during the demo. Thales gave us his recommendation for a full replacement that we agreed with and he has been building a much better deck for us in return. Now we have a deck with proper posts supporting our deck, flashing for keeping rain away from the house cladding, a weather ready composite deck, and boards that don't bow as you walk on them.
Thales kept us informed of his work and was an excellent communicator during this build as we had to deal with weather interruptions. I'd gladly hire him again and his carpentry work is great. If you want someone who knows their trade and does solid carpentry work I can't recommend Thales enough. When the snow clears out I'll add a photo of the full build.
We can't say enough about the professionalism of Thales and his team! We had them replace our leaking tiled shower floor and the infrastructure underneath it, repair the ceiling below the leak, and separately, rebuild a staircase to the storage area in our garage. Their work is of the highest quality, pricing is fair, they arrive when they say they will, and they are all very polite and considerate. Thales took the changes we asked for during the project in stride and quickly adjusted his approach, as needed. We will certainly call on Thales again in future whenever the need arises!
Thales has done a variety of work for us in both our current house, and now our new house. Very reasonable rates, with the best results. He knows how to do a large variety of types of jobs, from the small to the large in terms of home renovation and improvement.
