They don’t honor their work. Replaced a flat roof in 2020 and it started leaking few months later. They did a patch work by putting a sealant and a year later it started leaking again, for which they did another patch. I told them from the get go that the roofing material they used was cheap and not good. Now it’s leaking at several spots again since the end of 2023. I called and texted them multiple times but they disregarded my concerns. I had great working relation with this company in the past but they now their customer service has gone down hill and have lost a loyal customer.

Texas Star recently replaced our roof. The company is a pleasure to do business with, they are very professional and honest. The workmanship is exceptional.

I have used Texas Star Roofing both in 2013 and 2023 to do a full roof replacement after some severe hail storms. They are also a full service contractor that can handle any other property issues such as damaged fence etc. When selecting a roofer you need to be careful the company is not a storm chaser with no local presence. I strongly recommend Texas Star as they are always available to stand behind their work.. Jay was very easy to work with, very responsive to all of our questions and walked us through the whole process. I cannot recommend him enough, he worked with us to improve or attic ventilation per our request as well. Randi at the office was also pleasant and very responsive. We are very happy with the job the crew did on our complete roof claim and our newly pressure washed and stained fence looks good as new.

It 's rare that I am completely happy with a contractor. Texas Star was recommended to me by another happy customer and they didn't disappoint. The entire process of roofing, painting changing gutters etc went quickly and painlessly. Subcontractors showed up on time and did a great job. Costumer service is top notch, which is a rare find post Covid. Lee was very responsive and a true professional. I totally recommend Texas Star.

Jay was great to work with on our hail storm repairs (replaced roof-gutters-windows, painted exterior, stained fence). He managed the project throughout, replied promptly to questions or concerns, caught the last roofer's misstep, and worked with our insurance. We will use Jay and Texas Star Roofing again.

I had a Very impressive and pleasant introduction with a detailed explanation of the product, options, insurance, and prices by Texas Star Roofing owners. No push, no rush, no tricks like “let me call my supervisor”. I had enough time to think, compare, and research some information. Texas Star Roofing company was my best choice. I liked the price, material, agreement, warranty, and offered add-ons. Including the siding fix, gutters replacement, and painting.

Aaron was so knowledgeable about the type of roof we needed for our home since we have spray foam insulation. The installation team was so professional and took good care of my home. Texas Star Roofing was recommended to us by a friend. We needed a new roof after major hail storm on February 22, 2022. came out, took pics, and met with our insurance adjuster and between them they found more damage needed to be repaired. . The process went very smoothly. Jay explained the entire process and was always available for any questions we had. His team that replaced our roof was amazing , very professional and took.care at covering our bushes. Also his team had to repaint the exterior of our house, including all siding, garage door , front and back door and the chimney. His team also removed damaged gutters and replaced them with new gutters. Our house looks like new . Would definitely recommend Texas Star Roofing to anyone .

We have issues with animals in our attic and running throughout the attic. Our neighbors referred us to Texas Star Roofing. It took Enrique and his team some time to identify the issue and present a solution to us. The resolution was quickly executed, and we have not had further issues with animals. It was our first experience with home damage in Texas due to a hailstorm and we were pleasantly surprised how smoothly everything went once Jay of Texas Star Roofing got involved. He arranged for all of our necessary repairs in addition to roof and rain gutter replacement, keeping us informed as to when workers would perform the services. We will not hesitate to use this company again in the future should the need arise.

I own 6 properties in the in the Frisco/Plano area (1 personal/5 rentals). Over the last 15+ years I have used Texas Star roofing multiple times. Every project has been accomplished professionally timely with Jay acting as my advocate when the insurance company didn't want to pay for obvious damage. We've been wanting to cover our pergola for some time so we can enjoy it in all weather conditions. After contacting Texas Star Roofing a week or so ago, Lee educated us on the many options available. We decided on a Poly Gal system that would protect our furniture yet allow some light in. Yesterday it was installed by Enrique. It was exactly what we wanted. Installation was perfect. No mess left behind.
As an added bonus, we had lost a roof shingle the day before due to high winds. Enrique took care of that issue as well. I HIGHLY recommend this company!

Excellent quality workmanship. Had a minor repair and while reviewing found 2 other small issues to fix. Provide photo evidence of before and after. Fair pricing.

A good experience! They were available immediately and did the work promptly and neatly; reworked flashing in several places to address leaks, replacement of a few damaged tiles and a stretch of water-damaged soffit. Pricing was reasonable.

I needed my roof inspected for replacement, and they came out quickly, performed a free inspection, and determined that my roof was not in need of replacement. I did need minor shingle fixes and gutter repair. Enrique came out and fixed everything for a very reasonable price. When it comes time to replace, I will be calling them.

We have a tile roof & it is almost impossible (or so we thought) to find someone to work on it. When a recent windy storm left us with a leak & loose tiles, Texas Star was out the next day to repair the tiles & get us all taken care of. Great response time & customer service!

After talking to six roofers regarding a complex leak situation, I finally had that comfort feeling that Enrique knew what the repairs were that needed to be done. Honest, no nonsense, and trustworthy, which is a miracle to find in the roofing industry. We have a pretty large and steep roof and it only took 1.5 days from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Texas star roofing was unbelievably professional. Everything from inspection, to quote, to the installation was above and beyond what my wife and I had imagined. For us the best part was the cleanup, I have never seen someone take a 3 foot magnet and run it through our yard picking up any and all loose nails and trash that fell during the demolition phase of the installation. It was extremely appreciated due to the fact that we have pets. The installation itself took less than five hours. I highly recommend this company and will in the future. Within a few days Enrique and crew came out to make an excellent repair of my roof leak around a skylight. From start to finish was professional and clean. Great workmanship and polite. Texas Star was one of several roofing companies I had out to estimate a roof replacement due to hail/wind damage. Jay drove out to meet with the insurance adjuster on more than one instance during the estimating process. Based on online reviews and in-person meetings, I hired Texas Star to do the job. They completed the job quickly. Cleanup was excellent. They're a very professional company to work with. I highly recommend Texas Star Roofing and wouldn't hesitate to contact them again should the need arise.

We had a tricky but large leak in the roof below a second floor wooden deck. TSR was able to fix the leak, show us the work and replace the deck in only a few days. They were very expert and on budget. Excellent work!

It's never fun having to replace your roof, gutters, fence, etc., but I am glad that I established a working relationship with Jay and Texas Star Roofing. We used Jay almost 10 years ago and now have had to call upon him again from the past storms we have just had. Just like the first time, all repairs were made seamlessly and clean up was perfect. It's good to know that your dealing with an established roofing company and not a fly by night company. Wanted to see my insurance estimate first before coming out and giving me an estimate I said no I don't want to do that as if you come out and say we would charge you $10,000 to repair your roof, however, if the insurance estimate states we will pay you $15,000 they would charge me the $15,000 instead of the original $10,000. Jay stated they don't give estimates first they always need to see and work off the insurance estimate sounds like a scam to me to cheat homeowners insurance companies. Because as I said if they gave an original estimate of $10 K and the insurance company said they would pay $15 K that Texas Star Roofing would raise the estimate to the $15 K

So grateful for Texas Star Roofing!!! This company goes above & beyond, has integrity and takes the needs of it’s customers seriously. Not only was Jay responsive and thorough but our complicated situation (house selling) was taken into account by his team and he was in consistent communication with us to resolve our issues and allow us to move forward. The roofers were hard working and cleaned up beautifully, above and beyond my expectations. And our house looks great with its new roof!
