Teabow Residential did an excellent job of replacing the roof of our church. This is especially significant because the building is almost 100 years old and had the original roof with multiple overlays. The owner of the company and his team did a thorough job of ensuring we had all necessary permits and inspections and completed the work timely and efficiently. We were especially impressed with the constant communication and updates, both oral and written. The cost of the project was exceptional as well. Teabow completely remodeled our bathroom. I imagine this was a a relatively small job for the company. Nonetheless, the level of service, expertise, communication, and thoughtfulness was amazing. We could not be more pleased!

We had TeaBow renovate our kitchen in our 1932 home. The project expanded in scope a bit and it ended up being more of a first floor renovation/make over. My family and I were thrilled with the outcome and are already looking for when we can start our next project! We were impressed with their communication, timeliness, and professionalism. They took extra care to make sure not to damage/impact other parts of the home, pivoted well when we expanded our project scope, and showed up everyday on time. We had several neighbors comment on their punctuality and hard work. They were also very nice people to be around which made a potentially stressful experience a more pleasant one. I’ve had the opportunity to deal with several contractors. Doc and his team were exceptional from the beginning.

From his responsiveness to my initial inquiry to the final walkthrough, which he conducted personally, Doc and TeaBow were unfailingly thorough. He is the first contractor I’ve used who has returned such an extensive and straightforward scope of work in the contract. Every detail was considered; all relevant licenses and certifications of insurance attached. Before signing with them, we received other estimates from recommended pros, but while their cost estimates were in line with TeaBow’s, it was not nearly as clear what we were buying.

I consider the work previous contractors did for us good. The level of craftsmanship here was meticulous and above and beyond our expectations. The crew was always courteous, professional, and patient (and on-time, another novelty!); and work was completed on schedule.

We had to postpone the start of the project due to delays with our building’s insurance payment. Doc took the extraordinary step of having a specialist complete preliminary work (wall repair, plaster application and refinishing) so that we didn’t have 11 Thanksgiving guests staring at a pocked concrete wall, before we had paid a dime. I was floored by his consideration and generosity. Our project was a small one, no demo or fabrication required, but we felt like high priority clients.

I am so PLEASED with TeaBow Residential.  They rebuilt my crumbling driveway brick wall.  There were so many obstacles to get to the final product...DCRA, DDOT, incorrect architectural drawings, permits, inspectors/inspections and mother nature working against us weather wise. Another hindrance for Dr. Bowman was he found out that some of the work had to be done manually, so the job was a lot longer than anticipated. Some contractors would have walked away but Dr Bowman and his team are very professional; they worked through the hurdles and were very hands-on with my project. TeaBow Residential does excellent work! I would differentially recommend them to a friend but most of all, I would hire them again...and I did...a nice segue to give KUDO for my other project! I had some water & mold damage in my basement, it had to be completely renovated. Dr. Bowman gave my basement a whole new look. I LOVE it!!!! Thank you so much for making my HOUSE a HOME again! I really appreciate TEABOW Residential and what you have done for me...there were some really dark moments but there is a light at the end of this tunnel & it is shining so bright!!!! Always available to take my calls, he and the staff have made me feel like my issues/problems are a priority and consistently provided me services second to none. The work performed by Teabow Residential is first rate. My kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms look amazing. The workers are very professional. The foreman and project manager were very responsive. My only complaint is the communication between the owner and myself, it could have been better. I was told that my job would take 2-3 weeks, the foreman said 5 weeks and the job took 8 weeks and my kitchen is not fully done. The reason "supply chain" issues, but when I picked my items, all of them were in stock, so my guess is that the items were not ordered on time, even though I paid for them on time. Additionally some of their vendors were rude and did not submit a quote in a timely manner, which meant that I had to scramble to get another vendor for my granite countertops. But overall I'm very satisfied with the job they did.

I've seen these folks create beautiful projects across DC. Its great to see a black-owned business flourishing and producing high quality work.
