We would recommend these roofers. They gave us a free estimate for patching/sealing our flat DC rowhouse roof, and followed up quickly to schedule a time to complete the work. The project manager, Danny, did a great job communicating during the project, sharing photos and updating us while they were here. Took a couple of days to do the main roof and porch roof. Price was very reasonable compared to other estimates we received. And most important - the sealant has repelled heavy rain during a few big storms in the DC area.

Very responsive, quick and polite staff and workers. Respectful of my property. They originally had me scheduled for later, but when I asked to let me know if they have a last minute cancellation, Joe and his team squeezed me in a week early.
They used drones to survey and photograph the roof in addition to coming in person. When the job was finished, Joe came by, made sure all is good and patiently answered all my questions and gave me valuable insight into my 100 year old townhouse and ideas on how to handle future upgrades involving the roof like a deck.

Had a slow moving leak - Joe came out and quickly diagnosed the issue, offered good advice and was in general very professional, informed and honest. Will definitely call them again.

Commercial roof repair. Mostly worked with Joe, and he was extremely professional and helpful. First, Joe was the only roofer who told me the 100% truth about the structure of my building (I had firewalls, so we could repair in sections, not all at once). United Roofing has provided fairly priced gutter cleaning for us and last year helped us identify major issues with our roof. I shopped around at several well-reviewed roofers and United quickly rose to the top with a fair price and excellent customer service. Bailey provided responsive and kind service, and Joe helped to explain the problems and proposed solution with great clarity. He never makes you feel dumb for asking whatever question you need/want to ask (and I have tons of questions!)

Recently, I encountered another issue in our condo's gutter/roofing and called United Roofing right away. As usual, Bailey scheduled a consultation promptly (despite the fact that it was a rainy and busy week for United!), and Joe diagnosed the issue quickly. This particular job was much more difficult than Joe predicted, but the quoted price remained the same. United Roofing also provided a repair to a neighbor's drywall that was damaged from the extensiveness of the work. We called Joe from United Roofing for a second opinion after being told we needed to replace our entire roof—an extremely costly job. Joe came out quickly and was incredibly friendly and honest. We echo all the compliments about Joe's communication and his team's timeliness and professionalism! We experienced leaking due to damage on our flat roof's membrane. Bailey, the office manager, quickly helped us set up an appointment with Joe. Like other comments mentioned, Joe offered us several options rather than push us toward a costly roof replacement, which was not yet necessary. With Joe's recommendation, we opted for patching, sealing, and silicone coating. Joe's team also helped us remove a roof deck, first, which they did methodically and with great care to avoid disturbing the residents and our neighbors. Have had nothing but amazing service working with United Roofing! No one hopes to have issue with the roof of your home, but Joe and his team has made our experience so easy. He took the time to evaluate several areas of concern that could have been causing a leak, and was very patient in explaining all of the options. They were our first roof replacement quote (of three), and we ended up choosing them for pricing and the good word from our management company. Joe was communicative the whole time. The project was done on time and on budget. We’re very satisfied with the roof and intend to use United for maintenance and gutters going forward.

United Roofing recently replaced the roof on our DC row house porch. Joe came out within two days of requesting an estimate, checked out the roof, walked me through the options, and then sent the contract that same day. Despite snow and ice, Joe and the team came the following week, melted all the snow, and replaced the roof in a day. The gutter on the new roof didn't drain completely after the first major rain, and all it took was one text to Joe and the team was back out the next day to fix the issue. Our old roof was leaking around one of the skylights during heavy rains. We thought we might have to remove All 3 skylights and possibly replace the entire roof.

Cannot recommend this company enough. From start to finish, they are a top notch business; organized, smart and personal. Located in DC rowhouse with an older flat metal roof with rubber over it, I contacted United Roofing due to a water leak due to heavy rains. Due to consistent rain, we couldn't get scheduled for about 1.5-2 weeks after the initial free consult. The team came out during a break in the weather and applied a temporary patch around our skylight to hold things, which they did not have to do.

Joe talked through A, B, C options with us, but did not pressure us to do an entire replacement as he felt it was not necessary. We ended up doing a patch, seal, and silicone coating. United's warranty and credit program is amazing (hopefully we don't have to use it!).

All in all, Bailey in the office, Joe with estimated and customer experience, and the two gentlemen who were here doing the work, are all professional, smart and NICE! I never thought I'd be so happy talking about a roof.
