We needed the cement in our paver steps/retaining wall top redone. IDS repointed our front yard retaining wall and did a great job, especially with matching the toothpaste mortar style of the neighborhood rowhouses here in Petworth. The whole process was easy with good communication from the team, quick work on the project itself, and spotless cleanup.

Jeremy and the folks at Infinity Design Solutions were all great. Had them out to do tuck pointing on our rowhouse when I found water intrusion. The work was done well, fast, solved the issues, and the house looks and feels in so much better shape.

Of the four places I contacted for quotes, they were the most responsive, easiest to communicate with, and showed up on time for everything. Costs were on par with the other places, but Jeremy helped me feel much more informed about the scope of the work and where there could be other costs. (Which there weren't!) Really glad I went with them and expect to work with them again on some other home improvements.

Infinity Design Solutions helped us tuckpoint our back exterior wall and did some interior plaster work. They were responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, often responding to texts and calls within minutes. They were able to stick tightly to their timeline, even with a few unexpected twists and turns in our projects. Everyone we worked with in-person and via phone/e-mail was super supportive and I felt like the team was actively trying to make our lives easier. IDS are familiar with working on historic masonry buildings and understand how to navigate the DC permitting process. Their team was very professional and efficient. I've managed more repairs for my building and condo over the last 8 years than I care for, some were outright nightmares (!!) and I've had to interact with all sorts of contractors, companies, etc. I picked Jeremy and IDS because I knew I would have peace of mind and everything would get done *right*.

Jeremy is *extremely* knowledgable, especially with older construction and historic homes, thorough, trustworthy, reliable, and cares. He has often advised on repairs/upgrades for our building. When my condo was damaged due to massive water intrusion, Jeremy was the one I called to figure out the residual moisture issue after the association interviewed a series of specialists, architects, building envelope specialists, etc.

IDS came in to redo my *entire* northern wall, i.e.,
- remove all the plaster and built-ins, molding, etc.
- repoint the interior
- seal to make everything water tight
- install drywall
- replace molding, built-ins, etc.
- paint.

Jeremy always explains everything, sharing his expertise, knowledge, pros and cons. He catches every detail and insists on perfection. Chris ensured all projects ran smoothly. Jose and Abdulio worked nonstop, rapidly, always punctual, polite, respectful. They brought in air filters, dehumidifiers, constantly cleaning daily, etc., and did everything to minimize any impact.

When the project was done, Jeremy walked through and went above and beyond to fix things even I missed and more, whatever they saw along the way while they were working because they take pride in their work.

My place was cleaned from top to bottom and left spotless, water tight, and beautiful -- looks better than when I got it! I felt like I got a whole new place!

When I told my neighbors the project would take 12-15 days, everyone laughed at me and said, riiiight, told me to brace myself for months. Whenever everything was said and done on time, everyone asked me for IDS's contact details.

We picked IDS from a total of five candidates to replace our roof. We were impressed by the level of detail in the estimate. During the repair process, the crew addressed all our concerns. After the work was complete, Gary did a detailed check and found a handful of minor details that still needed to be addressed - details we would have missed, frankly, and then returned with his team and spend a morning making everything right. We're very pleased with the result.

Infinity Design Solutions did a great job replacing my old leaking roof and upgraded the front of my house. The roofing crew were on time, worked efficiently to remove my old roof and place the new one in a professional manner. They cleaned and painted all the vents on the roof with the correct paint and installed my new solar attic fan. Finally their painting team expertly painted the wood trim on the front of the house. We had a very good experience with Infinity Design Solutions. They developed and implemented the best solution to make sure the exterior steps (of commercial property- apartment) were updated and up to code. The representative (JR) was prompt on the date of his first look at the project. He offered good clear solutions for completing the project and took the time to call (I think his supervisor) to confirm one of his suggestions for the project; that day; during our first meeting. This may seem small to some but big to us. We didn't have to wait for a call back or a broken promise it was confirmed then. The courtesy, willingness to listen, knowledge, superb communication... priceless! We learned a lot from him about the project codes and that was greatly appreciated, because we had lots of questions. JR was an excellent representative for the company; in that he made himself available by answering or returning calls in a timely manner. I mean really, so often when you call a company, you do not receive a live voice. These are important factors for our small business. We chose IDS after having three other companies look at the job. There was a sense of trust after our first meeting.

Many times contractors have to adapt to various work conditions, expectations of residents and timely service. IDS performs these task with high efficiency.

From brick-pointing (tuck pointing), exterior facade, fire escape repairs, concrete replacement and complex roofing issues, they have a multitude of areas they are willing to work so don't hesitate to ask them about any project.

Had the IDS team do substantial exterior repairs of the roof of my historic rowhome. The team did an excellent job and was highly responsive. Will be using them again for future work.

We hired IDS to remove the old, broken floor of our sunroom and completely refresh the space. Chris -- the estimator and project manager -- visited our home, walked the space and talked with me for an hour weighing pros/cons of various approaches. We ultimately developed a plan of action that perfectly fit the room. It was a much more personal, thoughtful approach than any other contractor who visited (we had six others).

I needed pullout shelving that did not match dimensions of prefabricated products. So IDS carpenter handmade from scratch. When installing, he apologized profusely for one self close shelf that takes a nanosecond longer to close than others. Some carpenters would not even have called to my attention much less apologized for it.This is my second experience working with IDS and its this kind of attention to detail that would lead me to call them again in the future.

My project consisted of a porch remodel that included carpentry, wrought iron, concrete, and masonry, including adding a storage space under the porch. Jeremy and the team at Infinity did an awesome job repointing the exterior brick wall of our old row house. We were experiencing a lot of interior water damage along the same wall, and Jeremy talked us through the possibilities of how best to address the issue. The repointing work required a service disconnect from Pepco, an added logistical challenge, but the IDS team was very responsive once we were able to get it scheduled. Clearly, the crew that performed the repointing knew exactly what they were doing. They matched the color and the recessed joints of our mortar exactly. The IDS crew did a great job updating and remodeling our fireplace surround. They demolished the existing pillars and tile, installed new tile and drywall, created a custom mantle above our fireplace, and mounted our tv. I have spent 6 years managing and repairing a 100yr+ historic building, 2 years renovating my own damaged unit. After dealing with a series of roofers, masons, contractors, architects, structural engineers, water and mold remediators, insurance companies, lawyers, etc., I’ve learned more than I ever wanted about construction and contractors.

I found Jeremy Goldman to be an extremely knowledgeable, straightforward, honest, and helpful professional. He has become my go-to for historical repair & maintenance. Long story short, I spoke with Mr. Goldman over a year ago on a project that my board voted to select another outfit (and profoundly regretted). I called Mr. Goldman in — again — as we were experiencing those same water infiltration issues (crisis would be more apt). Mr. Goldman surveyed the property *again* although he remembered us. He explains everything, thoroughly. His expertise is vast and it shows. What I value most is that he shares his candid point of view. What you could do, should do, definitely don’t need to do, etc. We had roof vents that we believe was one of the sources of water intrusion. He created custom covers to ensure that needed air circulation would continue but water intrusion would be precluded. He also looked over the rest of the property and shared his recommendations, considerations, including where Infinity does not do that sort of work, multiple outfits who we could contact.

Mr. Goldman is pleasant to work with, responsive, reliable, timely. Highly recommend and will definitely contact again should the need arise.

The company's subcontractors repainted the water canal on the mansard roof and then placed cladding on the wooden frame that holds up the lip of the roof above the mansard roof.
