Doing business with this company was nothing but headache after headache. Yes, he has a lot of jobs lined up, he will keep you busy. It started off ok then the checks he paid us with randomly started bouncing (costing bank fees) materials and equipment weren’t always available that’s needed to do the jobs. Sometimes he would barely pay us enough to cover our Labor expense only and or we wouldn’t get anything for two months. Then the excuses as to why he never had the money to pay us started. Paul Nelson got paid for the work we did from start to completion of those jobs and he chose not to pay us. He refuses to pay us and another contractor, between the two almost $600,000.00. (google, Lawsuits involving Tandem Roofing LLC) one lawsuit that filed paperwork at the end of 2023 starts their court case in Early 2025. Ours is just getting started. I don’t want anyone to experience the hell we have gone thru. Way to late, we were warned by one of Paul’s office staff to, “get out before he screws you over too”. With that said we are not likely the only two he’s done this to. My opinion based on our experience with Tandem Roofing and Paul Nelsons lack of integrity and inability to essentially run a company are not worth the headache, court costs or even being associated with.
