The construction team did an incredible job, everything from the layout to the finishes was completed with care and high-quality materials. They paid close attention to detail and made sure every part of the renovation was done right.

I commissioned a major project with this company. Their estimate was high, but they’re rated well, so I agreed. Within days, the project manager (Avi) was asking me for more money. He had obviously miscalculated some aspects of the project and expected me to cover his errors.
That was not the last of my issues with this company. They had no respect for my property. They consistently threw cigarette butts and trash around my property. All contractors do that, so I tried to ignore it. However, I couldn’t ignore when they started dumping construction materials around my property. I noticed the first few, dumped in my planters. I asked Avi repeatedly to remove them. Instead of removing them, they just kept moving the debris around my property to other planters, killing my plants by dumping the debris on them. This aggravated me to no end, but I could not get them to clean it up. By the end of the project, they had a dozen dump sites around my property.
Part of the project included pouring some new concrete. The concrete they poured was rough and uneven. I brought it up immediately to Avi. He assured me they would fix it before the end of the project. Didn’t happen.
My project also included a railing along the edge of my deck. They bolted the railing into wood backing, which they clearly didn’t pre-drill, as they all cracked. I immediately pointed that out to Avi and asked him to fix it. Instead of fixing it, he glued another piece of wood over each one to try to hide it. Again, I couldn’t get them to ever fix this.
The majority of my project is nice, but Avi’s project management was atrocious and several details were unsatisfactory. The disrespect for my property was the worst experience of the entire project. I would not recommend this company. Contractors in Hawaii are terrible, but this one is among the worst.

I want to give Tal Builders LLC a very positive review!! I called Tal Builders for a quote about a handicapped accessible shower installation for my husband who is recovering right now from a fall he took and broke his neck and while he was recovering at the rehabilitation facility he fell and broke his femur at the hip joint. They sent a project manager to my home on a Sunday, his name is Amit. I explained what I needed and he said I want to help you with this project. Amit is so compassionate and understanding. We discussed what I wanted and a fair price and even went shopping with me to pick out the finishing things. The project started in a week!!! I live in a condo so much proof of insurance, and license had to be provided to our condo manager, no problem at all with our condo approval . The team of James and Hip, very kind and master full craftsmen showed up on Monday and today is Thursday and the project in pretty far into completion.. Amit has checked in every day. My hubby called yesterday and did a video call and I showed him what was happening so far and he was so touched by this. Thank you Tal Builders LLC for making this very important handicapped accessible shower happen for us. The project is completed and I love it.

Did not meet their appointment time and Avi kept giving untruthful ETA updates. Then, called me to tell me he couldn't find my address even though I provided two photos of my property entrance that has my address number 6-inches high after being 1 1/2 hours late for a 10:00am appointment. Avi cited traffic but no such thing as a 2-hour drive from Honolulu to Kahalu'u even during rush hour. Traffic is light at 09:28am. Should have been here by 10:30-10:40 at the latest. Stopped for breakfast or coffee?
Anyway, won't do business with a company that doesn't value their customer's time.

We had our kitchen completely redone. TAL Builders has done an excellent job. Project Manager Ronen was great from the start. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about getting you exactly what you want. The laborers are extremely hard workers They even worked on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. The job was completed ahead of schedule! I’m totally blown away by the transformation of our small kitchen to what is now a much more functional and beautiful space. I highly recommend Ronen and TAL Builders if you want high quality work and your remodel done in a timely manner.

We had plans drawn for a master bathroom remodel many years ago, but decided not to go forward with it.
We recently got an estimate to remodel 2 bathrooms and some extra work, but it was a lot more than we wanted to spend.
We saw an ad for TAL Builders, and proceeded with a consultation with Yaniv. Yaniv’s vision was quite amazing. We wanted a wet room incorporated with the plan. By moving the entrance to a walk in closet and using underutilized master bedroom space, a reconfiguration resulted into a fabulous spacious master bathroom filled with light and sleek storage space. An additional closet with closet system was also added.
The 2nd bathroom was a total gut. A walk in shower replaced the original tub/shower with the same finishes as the master bathroom plus a fold down teak seat for a cohesive look.
Yaniv and his crew worked within a very tight time frame. We had also added a complete upgrade of our plumbing system, as well popcorn ceiling removal. All light fixtures were replaced, and all closets got new doors as well as closet systems.
We are really happy to have worked with Yaniv and his crew on what ended up being a complete 2nd floor upgrade. A remodel/renovation more than well done. Thank you.

I've never dealt with a contractor that was so honest and transparent. Vardit had great suggestions when we needed her help on deciding on certain aspects of our job. I just finished an incredible experience with Tal Builders and Vardit Hacmon! When I decided to redo my kitchen and bathroom, my hope was to have it done while out of town, which was stressful. Even more stressful, I decided to do it with about 5 days to pick everything! I talked to several contractors and the only one who made me feel comfortable that I could trust them from halfway around the globe was Vardit. She proved to be a trustworthy and helpful partner, and her team, led by Chad, were attentive and responsive.

No remodel is without its moments, but this team adapted. After working hard to deliver on my timeline, I threw some big design curveballs that delayed completion. Vardit was patient, responsive, and kind as I worked through it. I returned 75% of the way through the project and they made adjustments and improvements in real time, meaning that by the final walk through there was no punch list. I have already recommended Vardit and her team to two friends who will be doing work in the new year, and I have no doubt that she will provide them the same personalized, caring service she showed me.

We are so grateful that we met Tal Builders for our full bathroom renovation. This was our 1st big renovation-project so we were apprehensive. Our project manager Ronen was very attentive and he gave us confidence from the first meeting to the end of the project. He was on-site every day, he was accommodative to our requests and demands, with a smile - and he made us comfortable.

We also appreciate our designer Ronnie for providing us with computer rendered 3D images of our initial ideas. The beautiful images were inspirational and gave us confidence in pushing our ideas further. She also guided us purchasing of many of the materials, which we would not be able to do without her; and she made sure we didn't forget anything.

And our special big thanks the build-team of Henry and PK for their amazing work! They showed up every morning, worked hard, and the project was completed on time. Their craftsmanship was meticulous, and every detail was to a high standard. During the project, we asked them many questions about what was going on, and we made several additional requests, and they were always generous and very helpful. They also advised on unexpected problems, and some of their ideas improved significantly on what was initially planed (we ended up with a bigger and better-proportioned vanity while adjusting to limited pipe space).

I can’t say enough positive things about Tal Builders - and their project manager extraordinaire - Vardit Hacmon. Tal Builders with Vardit’s lead just helped me complete a beautiful gut renovation of my condo and I am so happy with the experience and output! They did everything from installing the luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout, redoing my bathroom including laying all luxury bathroom tile, kitchen and laundry appliance installation, kitchen, living room and bathroom custom cabinet installation, plus all electrical and plumbing work.

I found the Tal Builders’ crew to be incredibly efficient - they finished on schedule and the work was always top quality. Also, they always showed up when they said they would - the crew was never late nor did they ever miss a day of work. We have a 70-year-old house that my grandparents built in the 1950s. We needed to update and modernize areas without losing the character and charm of our generational family home. We interviewed multiple contractors including Yaniv from Tal Builders.

I reached out to Tal Builders due to its reviews. I had emailed them a floor plan with my idea for an addition without the need for any plumbing. It was basically the builder's floor plan with measurements that I had drawn on. I just needed the walls pushed out by 8ft on the same side of the house, top and bottom. This was mentioned in my first email.

I talked to Victor, their design manager, after making an appointment. He seemed very unprepared with the phone call. He did not review any of the information I had already sent. He was asking me how much I had paid for my house. I am not to sure how it would be relevant. Maybe he was gauging to see how much money they could get from me.

He quoted me an estimate of $350,000 based off 600 sq ft addition when the addition I had planned was 462 sq ft. With that being said, he was estimating $583/sq ft for a basic addition. I would be reusing the sliding door and some windows that came with the house; and using standard carpet and vinyl plank flooring. There wasn't anything over the top with what I wanted. I asked if he could email me that quote so I could keep track with different quotes from different contractors, but he refused.

Per the information on their website as a source, it is quoted "2000 sq ft $410,000-425,000" as the average cost to build that size of a house. That would bring the cost to $205/sq ft on the lower end. Victor was quoting me 284% more than the average cost to build a house, to only build extensions. It would have costed me almost the same amount as building a house, and this would not be needing to pour a foundation, add plumbing, showers, cabinets, and other more expensive items.

I emailed back the main contact with Tal expressing my dissatisfaction with Victor, but I have not received a response.

Tal Builders did a complete remodel of my master bathroom in Mililani. I was beyond impressed with the quality and efficiency of the work. Our new bathroom is absolutely beautiful. Specifically they were able to remove the existing shower, existing bathtub, and build me a new walk-in shower. They also replaced the double sink vanity, built an additional custom matching storage cabinet, and redid the flooring, painting, and put a new window in. They also switched out the sink vanity in another half bath of ours. All of this was done in ten days. The workers are very meticulous, fast, extremely hard workers. And they really listened to my budget and were in constant communication with me throughout the project. Very professional and friendly, I'll use them for any other home renovation I decide to do. I've received quotes from various companies, but I've never seen a place this rude.

Project manager Amit won't give you a reasonable price. Because he's an expensive person.

He went away saying he couldn't do it with my budget because he was an expensive person.

He said the last thing before he left. it would be much cheaper for my husband to paint. Just disrespectful.

He said it would cost $100,000 to repair a two-bedroom 900 sq ft house (except the bathroom) and that it was easy.
If I were going to fix the house for $100,000, would I do it with you?

When I got an estimate for the kitchen remodeling, I just said I wanted to know how much the floor was,
Just the price!!!!!

I kept saying that the kitchen was the main and the floor didn't matter. Didn't listen to me.

He just needs to listen to my requirements and tell me how they can do it, right?

But he asked me how much my budget was, he said I couldn't do everything I wanted with my budget,

A budget is just a budget!! Shouldn't I choose whether to accept those quotes or not?

We don't know what kind of person he is and what great ability he has.

If he only wants to do expensive projects, he doesn't have to come to an estimate for a regular family house.

I don't know why he is arrogant while calling ridiculous prices when he comes to quote.

I can honestly say that from start to finish Vardit Hacmon has been working with me to get my bathroom remodeled the way I wanted it in a timely manner. As we all know sometimes things don’t go the way we hope, like ordering a bathtub it arrives a day later and the drain pipes are rigged wrong. Vardit consulted me of the situation with options, gets my ok to order another the same day and boom we back in business for installation. I really think Vardit was more concerned about finishing this project on time than I was. She was always calling to make sure there was no problem with completing this job. Did I mention her workers? For anyone to do quality work you gotta have qualified workers. And they would clean up after they’re done every time. Hat’s off to a job well done.

‏This was a big renovation but we had trust in them because they previously renovated our bathroom. As before, they did an excellent job for a fair price. Meny is very good at communications, checking in person most days and by phone if he didn't stop by. He does a lot of the work personally and has a steady crew. Meny checks in if there are any questions, for instance tile layout, to ensure there is no miscommunication. Really a pleasure to deal with, highly recommend.

I, too, am a contractor of sorts. I worked jointly with Tal, LLC on a large residential project. We shared various phases of the project from complete gut and demolition to totally renovating 3 baths, a kitchen and living room. Tal was the general on the project and I was incredibly impressed with the perfect staging and planning of the job that got us in and out in what in my experience was record time. The work was very high level, but once again, I was most impressed with efficiency. Most contractors will tell you that you can have only two of the following when it comes to contracting: 1.
