If I could give negative stars I would 10000%. James Hedge is the most unprofessional and disrespectful man I have ever met. After our Insurance came out to do a walk through, due to a leak after the huge storm we had back in August, we called Mr. Hedge as our roof is still under warranty. He came into our home bad mouthing every other roofing company and insurance place just to turn around and NOT repair the issues he claimed he would ALWAYS back up! My husband tried for months to get in touch with him to see when he was sending his crew out for repairs and we never received a call back. It took a female calling, informing that he would be blasted on all social media and to the BBB, for us to receive a call back and he didn’t even have the nerve to call me, he called my husband instead to talk about me! As my husband brought the phone to me and I was trying to explain the situation, he interrupted me, would not let me finish, and then hung up! I HIGHLY HIGHLY DO NOT recommend this “company” whatsoever. He does not back up his work and on top of that his work is not 100%. We now have multiple leaks, no weather guard under our roof which is causing water damage in our attic, and the boot on our roof still not repaired! Someone please take this man’s license away from him as he tried to use Covid as an excuse of why it took him 6 months to return a simple phone call!!!
We had a roof and gutters replaced on our home. With a substantial warranty. It has been over a year now that a gutter on the front of our house has been damaged. We have spoken to them several times about it. They have cited "Covid" as their excuse several times. I am so tired of paying such a big amount for work and they not living up to the work.
We hired them to do work on the outside and inside of the house . They finished the weather head and outside wall no issue. After their painters come to paint the inside of the entrance way they ask for payment. It has been 48 days after full payment and they have yet to finish the front door. After 2 1/2 weeks of asking when it was going to be completed with something coming up every day he tells me that he will drop my door off and the month for a couple hours labor and I can find another contractor for the work. I wouldn’t use or recommend this company to anyone. James seems like a great guy until he doesn’t get the work done in a timely manner.
