Was referred to Chris by our handyman once we discovered a leaky roof. Chris was prompt and professional and his pricing was very fair. He reached out to do follow up on the work to ensure all was good. Would highly recommend him for future work.

Chris was referred by a neighbor. When I called he answered and was able to address our issue within a few days both efficiently and at a reasonable rate. He was clear in his explanations and trustworthy. We would definitely recommend him and work with him again.

We saw Chris and his crew working on a neighbor's roof and stopped by to ask him if he could come to take a look at ours. It was leaking, and two other roofers had given different opinions about the source of the leak and how to repair it. Even though he was busy, Chris came by that afternoon and spent a lot of time examining our roof and showed us and explained what he thought the problem was. He answered all our questions and seemed to be extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Not only that, but he was willing to adjust his schedule to do the work right away, as we were very worried about coming rains. He was extremely pleasant and professional throughout. He will be coming back to do further repairs when the weather warms. We would recommend him highly.

Chris went above and beyond to help! It rained so much that our roof leaked. I called on a Saturday and he was already on a job but said that he would come to the house to look at the issue in the afternoon. Not only did he come and look at the issue, he repaired it immediately. He also found a bunch of missing shingles and patched them and fixed my gutters. He then told me in would come back in about a week to replace the repaired shingles, and then instead came back on SUNDAY to finish the job. He was not only kind and communicated, he wasn’t expensive and did a full roof inspection and told me NOT to spend money now since I didn’t need to and that I still had life on my roof. I will definitely contact SR&E if I have more roofing issues and when it’s time to get a new roof, he’ll be my first call. Thanks Chris! Oh yea, and he also recommended a window guy whose also coming to help on his day off this weekend! Amazing network of kind people that really care and try to help the customer when their in need.

Unfortunately, I had to change our 5-star review with Chris to a 2-star. Chris and his team quickly responded to a leak we had on our roof this summer. His price was fine, his team was efficient and professional. When he was finished, he even followed up with us after a few big rains. However, later in the fall the leak came back, but Chris never came back to look at it or fix it ---- despite promising me that he would. He kept saying we needed to talk with a contractor, and it wasn't his problem anymore. This was incredibly frustrating since we spent a lot of money with him, and he wouldn't honor his word.

Chris Carren, Justin and his crew at Superior Roofing & Exteriors are an excellent find. You are getting a top-rate company going with these guys. The work ethic and craftsmanship with Superior Roofing is second to none. If you like getting a lot for your money, this is the company to pick.

I am particular about my house so it was comforting to have a company that paid close attention to detail and took the time to do the job correctly. So many other roofing companies in the MD/VA/DC area slap the roof up in a day and cut corners which always leads to problems down the road. Chris and Superior have their own employees that work on your home. Other roofing companies either used subcontractors (nonemployees) or their quotes were outrageously priced.

Superior Roofing & Exteriors would clean up each day after they were done working and sweep the yard with magnets to pick up loose metal. We appreciated this extra effort since we have children that would run around the house after they were done working. Chris was very communicative. He was excellent about telling us each day what work had been done and what he planned to do the following day.

Chris and his crew did an excellent job. My roof was a mess . They were very conscientious about replacing rotten wood and installing new flashing and the cleanup was superb. The new roof is beautiful.
