Steve was a great project manager to work with! They helped navigate my insurance process and everything went extremely smoothly. My new roof and gutters have been performing perfectly for the past year. Looks and functions amazingly well - thanks guys.

I went with Sunrise remodeling company many years ago. They did a great job then ,and an even better job on my new job. I called them to put a few screws in where a couple spots were starting to show ware after many years. They came out to look at what I wanted fixed,and asked if I wanted the storm damage on my house looked at ,and I said yes. John,a Sunrise sales manager ,noticed the damage on the roof of my house, my garage, all my gutters and all the aluminum wrapping on windows and other places .I put a claim in with my insurance company and John agreed to meet with the insurance agent when he came to do the inspection. After a few days ,to my surprise, I was informed that everything was going to be covered . I contribute the decision to do so ,to the expertise and knowledge that John brought to the inspection.
I was always told when a crew was coming and what was going to be done.
The job was done within weeks of signing the contract. Everyone was respectful and did an amazing job. It looks beautiful. Every question and concern was addressed promptly. I am very pleased with every aspect of this experience,and I know they will be here for me in the future if I have any further concerns, but I don't forsee any. I would recommend Sunrise remodelers to anyone who takes pride in the appearance of there home.

Back in 2023 Duluth had a hail storm and I agreed to sign a contract with Sunrise. I had an adjuster come out to visit my property and see the damage. The insurance bought my roof and the adjuster was trying to buy my garage as a tare down and replace due to the condition of the garage. The adjuster said that she needed a quote from sunrise to see the full cost as to write it into the claim. Sunrise failed to submit the cost of replacing the garage so the adjuster had to write the claim without the garage. This meant I had to submit a second claim to the insurance as a separate issue just to get my garage roof replaced. This means I have to pay 2 deductibles instead of the original 1. If the desk adjuster denied the replacement of the garage I would still have to pay the 2 deductibles but they didn't even bother trying to get it on the same claim they just sat there twiddling their thumbs waiting and waiting and waiting. The adjuster said to send the report to her within 90 days otherwise she would have to submit the file without the garage. Sunrise asked me where I wanted the materials placed for replacing my roof and I said I wanted them next to the house, I got home from work and they were in the boulevard between the sidewalk and the road on the wrong side. Roughly 7 months after the storm I got the roof replaced due to Minnesota winter we had to wait till the spring.

I got a bill from the Sunrise for the remaining balance as soon as the job was complete like next day. Sending the bill right away is common practice as it pushes the insurance company to issue out the remaining funds. I put down my ACV (Actual Cash Value) check as the down payment for the job to get started which was 90% of the total due for the whole job. I did not pay the bill issued once the job was complete because I am still to this day 4 months later waiting on my RCV (Replacement Cost Value) check from the insurance. 2 months went by and I got a bill from Sunrise with late fees added on. By now they should have sent the info over to the insurance to release those funds. I as a home owner only owe my deductible if I do not get any upgrades. They are trying to charge me an roughly additional 1,500 which is my RCV check value. That being said I owe a total of roughly $2,500 to them roughly $1,500 is my RCV check and $1,000.00 is my deductible.
I called my rep to find out what these late charges were doing on my bill. He said that was a mistake and I will have the charges removed. Being frustrated with how this process is going, I asked where are we with the garage, he said that he does not know but will have the person who is working on the garage quote now call me to give me an update on Monday. It was Friday and I agreed as it was the end of the business day. (I remind you this quote was spose to be done last year with the first adjuster within 90 days of the first inspection). I asked about the permit as it was taped to my front door saying that I have taken down a month prior because I though the inspection was complete. He asked me if the inspector signed off on it, I replied no, were they spose to? He said yes, they will sign it indicating the roof has passed inspection. I told him that I did not hear anything from Sunrise about an ETA for the inspection to be completed. He said he would talk to the person who ordered it and have her get back to me. He said both people would call me back on Monday to figure out all of this information out. It has been 3 weeks and I have not heard a peep from anyone.
Last year I signed the contract to have the garage replaced (This is before the roof on my house was completed) by Sunrise and to this day I have no idea what is going on besides hearing from the insurance they are denying it, however they have to approve it due to the damage from the hail storm. Hopefully I get my garage by 2030.

Honesty from contractors is rare these days. John Haigh came to my home to estimate a small re-siding job. He explained that the job would cost me too much if Sunrise did the work - there were a variety of very good reasons for this. In the end, I very much appreciated John's honesty and the time.

Our kitchen remodel turned out fantastic! Professional team, responsive and high quality level of work. We would recc and use them again, and likely will for our bathroom remodel. Thank you to the Sunrise team!

We reached out to Sunrise Remoldelers due to great reviews. We had a leak in our roof. My husband called them and someone came out that same day and told us we would need to replace the the shingles and the spot where she felt a soft spot (the leaking area). We made the decision that this needed to get done ASAP. They were quick to get us on the schedule before we got more rain. They communicated very well. We had many issues with the roof after the shingles came off and they were great with explaining that all the deckboards were not up to code. We had to replace everything. They would call me and let me know what was going on and how it needed to be fixed. I would recommend 100%. Our roof looks great! No more issues. Would hire again.

I need someone to help me after a storm had caused a lot of damage to my house and I must have met with 4 different contractors. I wasn’t happy with any of them until my sister mentioned that she had Sunrise Remodelers help her with her insurance claim. I decided to give one more contractor a chance and call Sunrise. When they came out the did their initial inspection and presented me with their findings. The biggest difference was that they explained the entire process to me. They even had to meet with my adjuster a second time before finally getting my insurance company to approve my claim. The actual install of my roof was completed in one day and they did a great job cleaning up. The rep even came back and did a final walk through and picked up a couple little pieces of shingles to make sure my property was just as it was before they started. I can’t recommend Sunrise Remodelers enough. I would definitely use them again for future projects.

I will absolutely recommend this company. Justin came out and gave me a clear understanding of the scope of my project and was very transparent about timeline and pricing. Gabe did a great job with the window replacement and wall reconstruction. Tim was outstanding with finishing and painting. The result looks better than what we had before. They even corrected a minor issue as soon as I made them aware. They also tripled checked everything to make sure I was happy and it was perfect.

I was prepared to pay out of pocket for a new roof, but after meeting with Sunrise, they brought it to my attention that the damage should be covered through my home insurance. I have never filed a claim before and was not sure of how to proceed. They walked me through the entire process and even communicated directly with my insurance company so there was very little for me to do. In the end, my insurance covered everything except my deductible.

From start to end it has been a fabulous experience. Working with Justin, John & Jennifer everything was dealt with in a timely manner. If I had any questions or needed anything they were right there for me. The dumpster service and drivers were great. The roofing crew that was out here was fantastic and they completed 2 roofs in one day. Everything was cleaned up fabulously. Also there was a manufacture’s issue with the shingles that the crew foreman (Carlos) caught right away.

I would definitely recommend and use this company again.

After experiencing several high wind hail, and storm events in our area I was concerned about the status of my roof. Sunrise remodelers came out and performed a free inspection.
They climbed the roof, inspected the shingles, the flashings, venting, etc. but found nothing to repair or replace. They were honest in their evaluation and did not try to find anything that was not there.

I would certainly call them again if I had any projects within their domain of services and would highly recommend them to anyone.
