Sunny Roofing did a great job replacing my roof. They were dependable, honest and fast. They helped me deal with my insurance company and made the whole process very easy.

Great company to use for your roofing needs, fast friendly and beautiful work. Will recommend to anyone! Took 1 day to get the roof up, even took down the old swamp cooler, and changed our noisy whirlybird ventilation’s, and put up quiet, more modern vents.

The outside metal flashing on the sides of my 3rd floor dormers was beginning to bend upwards after 20 years of sun, rain, and snow (Sunny Roofing did not do the original roofing). Repairing them was a pretty easy fix since the flashing only needed new screws. The problem, though was that the major electrical power line down my alley near the west side dormer was about four feet above where they had to work and about three feet out from the dormer itself (plus the telephone and cable wires for the houses down the alley were also somewhat in the way of getting a 30 foot metal ladder up to where they had to work. Those wires, of course, were about four feet below the main electrical power line--not dangerous with electrical current, but difficult to work around). Without a doubt the workers had to be very careful working near the electrical power line using a metal ladder. They did a very quick and excellent job carefully using realistic caution with the metal ladder. I might add that the only other roofing company that was willing to do the job said they would have to use ropes from the other side of the house and not get near that electrical power line with a ladder. They were also going to charge me more than double what Sunny Roofing did charge me for their professional, but less complicated work, using a ladder. I was so impressed that Sunny Roofing was willing to carefully do the cheaper version and did it so well. They saved me a lot of money! If I need a new roof in the near future, I will be calling Sunny Roofing without question.

Had a great experience working with Sonny and his team. They worked with my schedule and all was done in a day. The roof looks so good. They also did my shed which needed a lot of work, turned out perfect. The whole process was easy and I would recommend this team.

So impressive! I appreciated Geno Edwards' advice and help in getting my roof replacement coordinated with the insurance company. I couldn't believe how quickly my roof was replaced - all in one day on schedule. Even though the original crew was scheduled for 2 days and the schedule got interrupted, they put a double crew on my job to ensure its completion on time. When unexpected damage was discovered they were able to get the insurance company to cover that cost and repaired it that day. We had a repair made to our roof (not a full roof replacement) and the service was excellent! From talking with Suzanne to schedule an appointment, Scott came out on the day and time scheduled to make the repair and Gino stopped by a week to ten days later to make sure the repair was completed to our liking with a follow up comment that if the leak was not fixed to let them know and they would be right out to make further repairs. They did a great job. Sunny coordinated well with the county inspections so that we barely knew the inspector was here. The crew was in and out in two days, cleaned up each day, and finished with no hiccups. Norm Fricke (sales) was great to work with, the roof looks great, and was well worth the expense.

Friendly, knowledgeable, great communication and timely!! We recently had our home go under contract and in the inspection learned that our 2 year old roof could not be certified for even 5 years. It was a very concerning and stressful situation. We contacted Sunny Roofing, the original installer, in a panic as we were under a tight timeline, and Ron and Sonny were on top of it! It turned out to be a defective shingle, not installation, and they took over the whole warranty process, getting it expedited to meet our closing timeline. Communication was open and clear through the whole process. I would highly recommend Sunny Roofing!!

We've had a bad experience with this company and their lack of roofing knowledge/experience. The new owner, who has always worked for the company, is unwilling to fix mistakes they've made in the past- he feels past problems are the old owner's responsibility. I highly suggest using someone a different company.

We purchased a house that had a "50 year" metal roof installed by this company, and immediately found out it leaks in multiple spots. We asked them to come take a look at it and give us their thoughts. After looking at it, they literally told us there was nothing they would do- that we should call someone else. Sonny Roofing literally walked away from their work. I should also note, they refuse to talk to us, and claim they have an attorney, but no one will call us back, not even their, "attorney."

Naturally, we called the local representative of the manufacturer of the roof they installed, who came out to examine himself. A memorable quote from him was, "Not only did they not know what they were doing, they just didn't give a damn!" On top of that, his professional recommendation was to literally remove the roof and put a brand new one on. He said he would talk to the owner, Sonny directly. Sonny and his team never had a conversation with the rep. They're stonewalling.

We had two other opinions, from two other local roofing companies. Both stated the roof needs to be removed and entirely replaced. One professional said they improperly installed flashing, which is allowing water inside the roof, they flashed the sky lights incorrectly, and improperly drove the nails into the roof, thereby exacerbating the leaking. He also noted that the roofers used different colored tiles in places of the roof where it's not very noticeable.

When you get roofing quotes, feel free to show the other roofing companies these photos, and ask them to explain why you should hire another, more proficient, honest and reputable company.

We were very pleased with the job Sunny Roofing did on our roof and gutters. Sunny worked with our insurance company and handled the scheduling of inspections with our county during difficult weather conditions. Norm kept us informed throughout both jobs and handled everything in a very professional manner.

Sunny Roofing did an excellent job replacing our roof, taking the extra time to work with our insurance so that our gutters were replaced as well. The crew was very polite and professional.

Sunny had some positives & negatives. They responded promptly to a request for a bid, and their price was delivered with full details in a prompt manner. The installation crew completed their work in one long day and did a good job cleaning up the area (nails,scraps, etc.). Their price was very competitive and terms fair. Negatively - their dumpster trailer broke down in our drive and it took a number of days to clear it off the drive and street. One of their roof crew did dot reinstall the swamp cooler properly, necessitating some repair and a wait of several weeks to get the final details cleared up. Nothing critical to the roof, but annoying after we had been pleased with the other work.

My neighbor and I chose Sunny Roofing to have our roofs checked for hail damage. My neighbors roof was inspected by Norm (from Sunny) and the neighbors adjuster, which had damage enough to warrant new shingles. Norm checked my roof and felt there was enough damage to file a claim. Norm met with my Insurance adjuster and checked my roof, but my adjuster felt there was not enough damage to warrant a new roof, but there was wind damage. Norm had one of his crew members patch my roof, so it is good enough until we get another hail storm.

Sonny's crew did a great job! They were friendly, worked fast and did a nice cleanup job afterwards :) I was impressed how they coordinated getting our roof completed between snowstorms this year.

Chris and his team did an excellent job replacing our roof this fall. He was very responsive when coming out to inspect the roof and getting an appointment scheduled for the replacement. He went over color options with us and advised us as to what the best product would be for our house. They completed the job on both sides of our duplex in one day and the inspection took place the following morning. They did a great job of cleaning up after the replacement as well...the whole process was very smooth. Would definitely recommend to others!

From the beginning to the end, Sonny's roofing was excellent in all aspects of the roofing process: A first class roofing company in dealing with the insurance company, professional and honest throughout the entire process, quality and aesthetic appearance was excellent. I am so pleased and thrilled to have the best roof and gutters in the neighborhood--hands down!

Chris, the sales representative, came out to give us our bid and showed us a couple of samples that were acceptable to our HOA. He was friendly, straightforward, upbeat, and experienced in the roofing field. He did an awesome job in advocating for us with the insurance company and he made sure that we were taken care of from start to finish.

Victor, our foreman for the roofing crew, was outstanding in leading his crew in a concerted effort to do a superb professional job. Victor has been working in the roofing industry since he was seventeen. He made sure the area was secure and cleaned up and paid attention to the details. He went out of his way to ensure the job was acceptable and to my liking. His expertise and finesse to detail resulted in a beautiful roof that truly added to the beauty of my home.

Competitive with any of the local roofing companies in the area, Sunny's roofing is definitely a company that will do a great job and a company that you can trust to get it done right, and in a timely fashion.

The final inspector stated, that the roofing project was an A+ job. He went on to assert that if every roofing company did a quality job like Sunny's roofing company, it would put him out of the roofing inspection business!!

Sunny Roofing was recommended by my insurance company. At first the initial response and original quote seemed reasonable for the scope of the work to be done. So I signed the proposal to get the work on the calendar July 27, 2015 and on August 5, 2015 I received an invoice of work completed for $475 to replace three 3 in 1 jack pipes. I was surprised as I had not been contacted when the Technician was scheduled to perform the work. So I called to discuss and was met with some skepticism, so I climbed onto my roof and took pictures to provide that in fact no work had been done. They aplologized and stated that they would contact me to schedule the work. However, I was never contacted and the Technician came to the home with no prior notice on August 10, 2015 when my husband heard someone on the roof. As he was finishing up my husband stated he wanted to see the old jack pipes. The Tech then stated the pipes are ok and it would be too much work to remove the shingles and he couldn't guarantee against leakage. So he made the decision to replace the rubber gasket and paint the jack pipes. Work that I could have done myself under $100 ($18.95 per rubber gasket). So I received another e-mailed invoice for $475 and I had to call the office to explain the work was not performed as originally quoted and I receved another invoice for $350. I tried to discuss that this seems a little high for the work performed, however the repsonse was that it was discounted from $475 and this is the minimum charge. The $350 lesson I have learned is regardless of the referral to get several quotes before signing any proposal to perform work. I have never experienced such poor customer service from Professional Tradesman until now.

Horrible experience. They installed a new roof on my house three years ago. The new roof has leaked every year sincethe install. They give you the run around when you call them to come out to fix any problems. Needless to say they never fixed my leak...so much for their warranty!

SONNY PUT A NEW ROOF ON LAST jUNE. tHEY DID A GREAT AFFORDABLE JOB. HE WAS ALSO ABLE TO DEAL W/ MY INSURANCE CARRIER WHO I WAS NOT HAVING ANY LUCK WITH. I WOULD RECOMMEND SONNY ANYTIME!
