Awesome finished product. Installers were hard workers to ensure everything went to plan. If a mistake was noted they backtracked to immediately fix it. Some minor items to address at the conclusion of the job which they did. Did a few “specials” during the course of installation which was highly appreciated. Mountain Safe offered a Hardie siding package that would update our look and improve our curb appeal! Their approach using a Project Manager to lead the work was hassle free. Their crews for everything were top notch— professional work, daily clean up and kind people! Everyone we worked with from beginning to end was so skilled and so professional about the quality and quantity of work that was done. In so little time the project was completed and we could not be more happy with the results. When compared to others doing the same work, Mtn Safe offered faster scheduling, more design input and greater value on the gutters and the gutter guards. We also had an older home and they took interest in making sure things like dated shutters and other issues were a one- stop shop so that we were not nickeled and dimed for additional add- ons! We highly recommend MtnSafe and would use them again for other projects.

I needed to replace my roof and had issues with other companies not following through. I found Daniel with Mountain Safe Exteriors. He was very communicative and professional. He was great to work with and made this an easy process. He as well as Jaime worked with me to make it cost effective for my budget. Dave and his team did a wonderful job of installing a new balcony door in my home. They were very efficient, professional, timely, clean, and thorough. Mountain Safe Exteriors exceeded my expectations and then some! They are by far the best contractors I have ever worked with and are all about customer satisfaction.
Dave Thomas sat down with me and went through design ideas and his vision far exceeded anything I could have come up with. Amy, from the office, coordinated the schedule beautifully. They took down and reinstalled my blinds for window installation, which was completed in one day (12 windows (including two extremely large trapezoids), sliding glass door and front door), Alberto and his crew are machines and treated my house with total respect. Jeff Jahner was extremely helpful and stayed on top of all my inquiries. Day after install, the painters came to paint frames, and window sills. Dominic Curtis was a perfectionist, he and Kenny went above and beyond to make sure everything was satisfactory.
Then the siding crew came, again, Daniel’s crew were machines; they tore down my wood, soffits, facia, and gutters in no time and had the new repairs, wrap, siding, etc. put up in two days. Then the finishers came to beautify the nails, seams, install lights, etc. way beyond expectations. They sent their specialist, John Jahner, to rebuild my front patio, with all new beams. Ed Nelson let me know what was happening and when to expect the next step. He became my liaison, even though all were great with communication.
José with the gutter installers rushed their schedule to fit my house in before the Memorial Day storms.
And last, but not least, Logan was very professional with the final wrap up.
If any one of the crews saw something that needed a quick fix, boom, it was done, and every crew was very meticulous with the finishing touches, extremely professional work.
My house was literally transformed by MSE! Forget the old adage…”you get what you pay for.” In my opinion, MSE delivers the highest quality work that one would expect only the wealthy could afford.

After years of struggling with builder grade windows that were broken, leaky and drafty, we finally upgraded the windows in our home and couldn’t be happier! The team at Mountain Safe made it easy and now I have new windows that are energy efficient, look great and open and close with ease. The windows were an exact match for our HOA requirements and not only do they look great and fit well, I can actually open them and clean them from the inside of my home. Additionally, their team noticed that the old windows had rotted my window trim and they replaced all of the trim as well. The scheduling team was kind and prompt in getting my job scheduled. The on-site installers were pleasant, professional and prompt. They took extra care in putting down runners on my floor and covering all my furniture. When finished, they cleaned up and moved everything back into place and I was left with my beautiful new sparkly windows! Above & Beyond!

Mountain Safe is truly a stand up company! They overhauled virtually the entire exterior of my home. They did all new siding, new soffits, new fascia, new gutters, new windows, new exterior doors, and a new roof! The transformation was truly phenomenal….it doesn’t even look like the same house. I worked directly with the owner, Dave Thomas, and he is a man who TRULY cares about customer satisfaction! There were definitely issues that occurred during the course of the project, but that seems inevitable for large scale renovation projects and the handling of those issues is what really impressed me. Dave does not accept sub-par work and he will ensure things are done correctly or fixed if they are not. Also, if a mistake is made, Dave will go above and beyond to make sure the problem is corrected and the customer is taken care of. Dave deeply cares about quality control and custom satisfaction and you can’t ask for more than that! I HIGHLY recommend Mountain Safe!

Everyone I spoke with and worked with throughout the process were very respectful and helpful. The installers were very contentious about the space and ensuring everything was cleaned up after install.

We contracted with Mountain Safe Exteriors to replace our aging wooden windows / storms with Marvin Elevate low E3 windows, as well as replace our extensively woodpecker-damaged cedar siding with the James Hardie Woodtone board and batt product. Our decision was made after talking to another window/siding company, considering several positive Mountain Safe Exteriors online reviews and getting a strong recommendation about Mountain Safe Exteriors from a neighbor. The installation work was top quality, careful project management ensured all work was completed on time, permitting and inspector signoff was accomplished with no rework, cleanup was flawless and, most importantly, the Mountain Safe installation and management teams were top notch communicators, responsive in every regard, always available to answer questions and most pleasantly engaging to work with. We met with several members of the management team at our home during the project, a surprising and welcome occurrence, as they each seemed available, genuinely concerned and responsive. Surprisingly, Dave Thomas – Founder and CEO visited onsite with us at the conclusion of work to make certain we were happy with the work done. Throughout the project Jon, Lonnie, Gilberto, Daniel, Cari and most especially Desi, made the project flow seamlessly. It's a breath of fresh air working with such a well oiled machine that Mountain Safe Exteriors demonstrated. I am pretty picky when it comes to details of contractors and doing a large - full wall - siding project had me very nervous. On top of that I wanted to also work alongside the crew fixing some electrical and other issues.

From the Sales, Financing, Project and Construction team, everyone was attentive, proactive and constantly checked in with us. They made the customer the priority. Mountain Safe listened to us at every step of the way and ensured the project was done right and on time.

I was interested in high quality windows at high altitude, 8,800 feet, that would withstand sun, wind, and precipitation. Knowing Marvin windows had a great reputation, I contacted Mountain Safe based on former contact with one of the owners. The bid and recommendations from sales and design team were spot on. The installation of 13 windows and two sliding doors went well and in less than 2 days. The crew was skilled and experienced in installation. I found the crew friendly, easy to work with and very eager to answer questions. Follow up and inspection by the manager confirmed the quality of the installation. I am very satisfied with the windows and installation.

Without reservation, my all-time best of many home improvement projects has been our recent window replacement/enlargement/addition project with Mountain Safe Exteriors.
You know going in that construction projects are going to be invasive, but Ruben and Alberto were great! Polite and respectful of our home, yes, but the urgency was most impressive. We were amazed how much progress they had made with each pass through the main living space in our home. Scheduled for 3 days, installation complete in 2. they rocked!
The finish work was/is impeccable. The stucco repair on the outside, as well as the texture matching on the inside were perfect - True artisans!

We really enjoyed working with Mountain Safe Exteriors. We originally got quotes from another company and thought we should get another quote to see if we were in line with the costs involved. Mountain Safe Exteriors was the Second company coming to give us a quote on new siding, doors and one new window. Chad and his team did an outstanding job replacing the windows in my home! The windows he helped me choose have significantly enhanced the appearance, comfort, and energy efficiency of my home. These windows with Low-E3 glass greatly reduce the heat entering through the windows while still letting in plenty of natural light. Additionally, the thicker glass compared to standard non-impact windows provides better insulation, helping keep the home cooler and much quieter. I am highly recommending Mountain Safe Windows and Exteriors! I replaced half of my windows and I’m so pleased with how the project was done. Starting with Chad and Matt introducing me to the window replacement process and educating me about Marvin windows (top rated) and how the project would be completed. I was concerned about only doing half of my windows, but a custom color match to the exterior trim on the new windows was done and it matches my existing windows that were not replaced perfectly. I have oak trim interior and again with the expert installation and craftsmanship of Alberto and crew, and the stain and finish done by Alejandro and crew, the interior trim matches the existing windows wonderfully! Neil carefully oversaw the project and was always ready to answer any questions and be supportive of how things were going. Desi helped with the scheduling, custom color match, and was always there with answers to any question I had and made every effort to make the project work for me! I was hesitant to do such a big project but knew the window replacement needed to be done and I am just so pleased with the outcome as well as how the entire replacement project was completed. Every single person at Mountain Safe was professional, knowledgeable, and I feel best of all… personable with genuine attention given to me!! It’s a TREASURE of a company!!!!

I recently had the entire exterior of my office building completely redone by Mountain Safe Exteriors. My building, though small and cute, is a 125-year-old home in Fraser (the original "depot" for Fraser Railroad Station), and it was in desperate need of some TLC. The project included new Marvin Windows, all-new James Hardie siding, stone accents, a brand-new metal roof, and a new small deck. We get so many compliments from people in the neighborhood of how nice the house looks now. As we currently have big snowbanks covering portions of the house, I will await posting pictures of before and after. Once things have cleared out (snow melted), can truly see the amazing transformation of our office building.

I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of work and professionalism I experienced throughout the entire process. Dave Thomas, the owner, personally helped design the look and assisted with material selections. Jon Jahner, who is genuinely one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, managed all the construction work. His attention to detail was impeccable. Jon truly cared about ensuring that every aspect of the job was completed correctly and to the highest standards—which, as a very picky person, made me extremely happy.

Given the building’s age, there were certainly challenges. The roof had been leaking for some time, and Jon’s roofing team discovered that the OSB underneath the roof had to be completely replaced after they removed the old roof. This was an unforeseen issue, resulting in additional costs. To ease the pain, they charged me only their cost for the additional work. During demolition, they also found that there were three layers of siding on the building. Though this added significant work for the siding team, they tackled it without complaint and worked tirelessly to get it right.

I am beyond excited about how the building looks. The roof no longer leaks, the walls are no longer drafty, and the windows open without any snow blowing through them during storms. As my office is located in the mountains, I was initially concerned that their headquarters in the tech center might pose a challenge for the installation. However, it didn’t cause any issues at all. Jon made the drive up to my location every other day to ensure the crew was staying on track and maintaining a high standard of work.

I first learned about Mountain Safe Exteriors when I saw their new showroom in the tech center while out for dinner. At first, I was hesitant to work with a company that had only been in business for less than a year. However, I was quickly reassured by Rebecca, the showroom manager, who shared that the three owners collectively have over 35 years of experience in the industry. Plus, their pricing was very competitive.

Windows are beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised that Dave's team replaced over 60 windows in just over a week, just as he said they would (for the windows themselves, painting work took a little longer as to be expected). Dave was also great at helping us design some changes to our windows that enhanced our views. Only improvement would have been better communication between Dave's team and the interior paint subcontractor.

We were very impressed with the skill and efficiency of the workers who replaced our siding. Even our neighbors were in awe of the speed and attention to detail of the workers. The crew was also very responsive to our questions or concerns. The best part is that the house looks beautiful.

I am very happy with my exterior remodel project! I had my siding, roof, and all my windows replaced. The Marvin windows and Rustic Cherry Hardie siding are truly great looking and the roof sets it all off nicely. The design input was spot on. Mountain Safe managed the details for it all and completed the project quickly in spite of a delay due to a major snow storm. The workmanship looks really good. My old fixer upper looks like a beautiful new house.

I first met Dave in 2017. What started out as a replacement siding project for our mountain home turned into not only siding, but all new windows, patio doors, and front entry doors. The results were spectacular! So much so that when it came time to replace windows in our condo in 2024, Dave was immediately our go-to guy. Dave not only knows his products very well, but he is also professional, attentive, and has a keen eye for detail. The work of his team is 5-star in all regards! I wish there was a way to give him 10 stars.

Mountain Safe Exteriors installed all new Marvin Elevate windows and doors and a complete new wall system with James Hardie siding. The work also included new soffits, facia and gutters. They performed required structural framing for new window and door openings. Their crews were very efficient and the work was completed in much less time than I expected. The work quality was superb and I am very happy with the project overall. We live in a 50+ year old house in a fire prone area of Boulder and so I am relieved to have new fire resistant materials covering the house.

Mountain Safe replaced 14 windows that were 50 years old and in bad shape. Excellent product, craftsmanship, and friendly service. The siding is James Hardie brand that looks just like cedar wood, yet has an amazing Class A fire rating when tested in accordance with ASTM E84. You could put a blow torch on the siding for 90 minutes and still no fire. Mountain Safe is certified by James Hardie for warranty purposes. Every single interior corner and every joint between siding and trim were caulked with fine lines and color matched caulk. True craftsmanship by the team!

The windows and doors are made by Marvin and are fiberglass exterior and wood interior. Way more insulation rating and sound insulation over our old windows. These also have the best warranty compared with other brands we shopped. The windows team trimmed them out beautifully!

We previously used a large, local window company and were initially a little concerned about entrusting a relatively new company with a complete replacement of our windows.
