Wonderful company! They came out the morning of the hurricane in the rain to look at a minor leak! They put measures into place to help prevent water to come in to protect my house during the storm. I can’t say enough positive things about this company. Definitely recommend!

Last month, I replaced my existing residential roof with a Fortified Roof. I contacted and interviewed five different roofing companies.
I had already researched roofing materials, underlayment products, architectural shingles, hand nailed roofs, vents, framing and drip edges. Many of the roofers I contacted, hassled me with warranties, others never showed up to meet with me ….. only emailed. I had roofers that were unable to prove they had liability insurance and workman’s compensation and others that were unable to give me addresses of roofs they completed so I could view the scope of their work. After all of this, I met in person, Marty Scoggins, owner of Suburban Roofing. He showed up with samples of shingles ….
Certainteed, Atlas, Owen’s Corning, Malarkey and the list goes on. He personally went up on my roof and measured. He sent his roofers to my house on two different occasions to hand nail samples over my patio roof so I could be spot on with my final shingle selection. He raised the ridge caps to give me a more architectural look and painted the vents and drip edge to match the shingle color. The installation for this hand nailed roof took 4 days and I received my Fortified Roof paperwork five days later. Every day, his roofers allowed at least 90 minutes to clean up and leave my yard spotless. Marty and his Foreman Ray were on the job everyday checking the work. They handled not only the
paperwork for the Fortified Roof, but the Wind

We've had numerous roof repairs and several replacements over the years, but our experience with Suburban--a new Fortified roof--was far and away the best. Owner Marty was on the scene from beginning to end not only overseeing his own crew but keeping in close touch with the inspectors who provide the official Fortified Roof designation. Simply the best.

Suburban Roofing and Siding repaired the damage to my roof from Hurricane Ida. They were fast, efficient, and respectful of my residence.
They had to undo some “temporary“ repairs that another roofing company performed while we were waiting for our insurance company to resolve our damage claim.We’re still waiting, but decided to go ahead with the repairs after waiting almost 2 years.

Once we decided to proceed Ray of Suburban was able to schedule the work quickly, and completed it in just a few days. Ray was great to work with. He kept us informed of how the work was progressing several times a day.

Suburban was recommended to us by several people, and we found those recommendations to be spot on. We would recommend them to anyone.

These guys were amazing! I'm so happy with my new roof! They showed up at 6am, had old roof gone by 7am, then spent an hour making sure all of old nails were gone, then installed new shingles so efficiently as a team. Worked until 8pm to finish the same day. They even put my satellite dish back up. Very efficient team and an amazing job! I love the new roof!

After Hurricane Ida, I needed a new roof and was very picky on who I would choose to do the work. The pleasant experience began with my initial call to the office and went all the way through the clean up of my property following the roof replacement.

Truly stellar experience from start to finish. Ida hit during the first year of owning our home, and to say we were unversed with insurance claims, hurricane repairs, etc is an understatement. Suburban Roofing, and specifically Brian Wood (our project manager/rep), went MILES above and beyond anything we had expected to ensure everything was handled appropriately through insurance and we wound up with the roof our very low-pitched home needed. Their work was impeccable, and anything that was noted later in a “punch list” was promptly remediated. Truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Suburban Roofing, and highly recommend them for their professionalism and expertise!

Marty was great to deal with: responsive, professional, and fair in his prices. We do not live in Louisiana and therefore had to find a contractor and get the job done from afar. We particularly appreciated the fact that Marty always communicated with us if there was a decision to be made and coordinated with our New Orleans tenants to let them know what was going on. We were grateful that Marty passed along lower materials costs when possible, since there was a spike in prices after Covid.
Marty’s professionalism was demonstrated when he inspected our just-completed roof the morning after the recent hurricane and sent us photos showing that the roof was ok. We highly recommend him!

Marty and Suburban Roofing were a pleasure to work with. We got a completely new roof and they touched up our bedroom ceiling where we were getting leaking. We get a lot of compliments on not only how good the roof looks, but how good of a job the whole team did. The company was extremely responsive and made us feel like we were in very good hands.

If we could leave 10 Stars we would! Marty, Don and their team have been professional, proactive, responsive, timely and helpful. Our roof was damaged in hurricane Zeta and Marty came out and inspected the damage the same day I called, got our roof protected quickly and helped us navigate the replacement process with our insurance company. (Even calling them himself to ensure the insurance company had everything they needed.) They explained our options to us, made recommendations, were mindful of our budget and completed all work on time and on budget! Marty and Don were always available when we had a question and it's clear they care about each and every customer. Highly recommend this company.

What can I say? I called for an estimate, I received a return call just minutes ago. The guy on the phone insulted me, and they would see me in a few weeks.

Apparently I dont know where I live according to Suburban Roofing. That's what i was told after being asked, "Where do I live?" And then answering, "Marrero." Followed by, "Yeah but where do you live?", and responding with "Marrero, Louisiana. On the westbank. In jefferson parish." Only to be met with, "Right, but like Harvey, Gretna." Etc. "You dont know where you live then." Attitude attitude attitude. Bye.

Marrero is a city. If you ask a logical question you get a logical answer. If you want the address, ask. If you dont know Marrero is a city in Louisiana. Look it up. There is no excuse for treating people like hot garbage because you're frustrated and lack communication skills.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. They replaced my whole roof and I had continuous questions which Marty answered patiently and right away. There was never a time that Marty made me wait for an answer - no matter how small my question was. Marty’s communication was incredible AND I am so PLEASED AND HAPPY with the job they did- impeccable!
My roof is beautiful ( I never thought I would say that about a roof!) Marty had great ideas to improve the drainage of rain off of the roof and the roof is spectacular- he even painted the rusty electric boxes for the ACs and coated the platform for no extra charge. Marty and Ray, Marty’s business partner, were great to deal with - very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company!

Very responsive and very professional. We had hurricane Delta pending and when it looked like we'd have another day with no rain, they came out to get the gutters done before. They were quick and actually cared about our house and us, checking in every day. Beautiful work. I'm so pleased. Can't say enough good things about them.

Update: After Hurricane Ida, we had zero roof damage on our 2 year old roof!! Not a shingle out of place. Of course we had to use Suburban again on the house we are about to move into. We now have a beautiful new roof on our future home thanks to Suburban. Highly recommend these guys. Thanks Suburban!!!

Our experience with suburban roofing was amazing! We called the day of the storm, and there was someone who answered our call immediately. Then, we got a call within 10 minutes from Marty, the contractor. He called us in the middle of the storm on a weekend--it was so kind and put our minds at ease. He came out and we had a no roof within a week! The new roof looks so nice, the workers were so efficient and kind. They also did an amazing job cleaning up. The price was amazing and Marty walked us through the entire process, as well as helped us deal with our insurance company. I am so grateful to suburban roofing!

They are very professional, they took their time and explained step by step of what needed to be done and why they were doing it. When my wife and I recently needed a new roof, Suburban Roofing did a great job. The owner himself came to our home for the estimate, and he was extremely knowledgeable in explaining the project to us. The work crew showed up at precisely the scheduled time, and they performed the roof replacement in a very timely and professional manner. After the job was completed, the crew cleaned up the work site so completely that I could not find even one stray nail on the ground.

Great job. These guys did a wonderful job in a very short time at our church in Luling. The slope in the roof was extreme and they handled it sately and completed the job in between our services with no upset to our weekly activities. And no reports of any random nails and flat tires.
Would not hesitate to recommend them.
