While I didn't ultimately choose to go with Stutzman and Kropf for my roofing project as their final price was just a tad bit higher than the company I ended up going with, I found the process of getting a free estimate with them to be very smooth and pleasant. Brett Rossback came out to our house the same day I called to check out the roof, and I got the free estimate sent to my email the following day. Brett was readily available by phone to discuss the estimate and answer all my questions in the days following. He was even able to bring the price down a bit in the course of negotiations. Seems like a very reputable company that provides quality products (Certainteed brand shingles). 10-year workmanship warranty was reassuring. Brett inspired confidence in me regarding Stutzman and Kropf as a quality roofing company.

I am so happy with my roof replacement, and they were able to handle our siding issues as well, which most companies wouldn't. They worked so fast, spotted and replaced dry rot, and the cleanup was superb. I'm very happy, the crew was a delight, and they were very respectful of my space and my dog who was not exactly pleased with the commotion. Overall it was a great experience.

Have hired them for several jobs and they have done great work. There was a bit of a hiccup with one of the last jobs, but after expressing our concerns they made it right. I would recommend them to anyone without reservations. Will definitely be reaching out to them for any future projects we need done.

The quote was good, the wait time was reasonable, the install started on-time, the team worked their :) off, and office staff was very friendly when I went in. If you’re picky like me, have a roller magnet there for a couple more passes after they leave (they did a good job on cleanup but I’ve seen several companies do roofs and it’s not a clean process.)

Impeccable service! Let me tell you about it. They are very busy so don't expect to get a new roof in a few weeks. Our new roof appointment was 5 months out. But we wanted them to do the job so we were OK with that. Several of our neighbors used them and were very happy. And we are on the central Oregon coast! Early December they scheduled appointment as weather looked good. Five or so trucks pull up before daylight and 6 or 7 guys! One day job....NOT because they rushed, because they know what they are doing and did a fantastic job. When they were finishing up late afternoon, my husband was in our office and overheard 2 of them out back. One said to the other: now you see that on the ground? You need to pick that up. We leave the place cleaner than we found it. And let me tell you, it was a cleaner front, back and back yard than when they started!! Not inexpensive by any means, but you get what you pay for. Very glad we chose them. No regrets!

Don came by to look at a problem with out roof and problem solved a difficult problem for me. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable .
I will use them again.

We had some leaking issues between our sun room and house. They came out within 24 hours of our call. Determined it was a smaller issue than we thought. Fixed the problem and explained the problem without trying to sell us a whole new roof. Any future roof repairs or issues this will be the company I call and recommend.

Stutzman did a great job on our roof. They were the only ones that quoted what we requested, and they did great work on schedule and in budget. We had a number of small concerns, which they addressed efficiently and cheerfully. Very nice to work with, and we love our new roof.

I own a home adjacent to a job they are doing. When we arrived in Newport Memorial weekend we realized that there was a roofing crew right beside us which was not good news. I was so surprised - they are quiet, efficient, a very professional operation. If they are auditioning for more business they certainly get my vote and their contact info is in my phone. So nice to witness this special crew.

They installed new roof for me and they left garbage on the ground and nails in the driveway . Nails in the yard that they came back out and picked up after I complained. I’m still picking up nails In my shoes and yard though . I had to get a tetanus shot because of it. I would never recommend them to anyone.

We had a leaky roof recently. Stutzman & Kropf came out the same day we called to inspect the issue and were able to have someone come within 2 business days to fix the issue (just a minor repair was needed). It was so reassuring to have them come the same day as were we in panic-mode. They told us our roof looked great and didn't need to be replaced, just a minor fix was needed (an issue around a vent was letting water in).. They seemed honest and the price was very fair. We definitely recommend them!

The company had been recommended to me by two friends who had used them. They were exceptional. They communicated well what needed to be done and why. Unfortunately, the people who had put on the original roof did not do a professional job. I highly recommend Stutzman and Kropf.

Stutzman and Kropf replaced my residential roof in one day. The roofers showed up on time and worked quickly, and were respectful to my property. The communication before and after was great. The cost was the same as the estimate. I highly recommend this company.

I have used this company on two large residential roofs requiring complete re-roofing, one house requiring siding replacement, two metal barn roofs (one needing powerwashing and roof coating application) and the other being a rusty metal roof with popping screws that required seam prep work and replacement of old fiberglass panels before priming and coating with an elastomeric coating. Most recently they have worked on my 45,000 sq ft commercial roof requiring a roof inspection and plan to repair it within my budget. They did a roof inspection, identified what required structural and drainage redirection/repair. They determined what needed a tear off and re-roof and what was still structurally sound. They then re-roofed a good portion of it with TPO and used an elastomeric coating with reinforcement fabric on sections that were structurally sound. Their employees are safety-minded professionals. First-rate work, first-rate people. Very professional, knowledgeable, fair and ethical. You will be pleased. They will help you find a solution for your roof or siding project. When I'm ready to build they will be the company I call for siding and roofing.

We have used this company several times and have always been more than satisfied with their service. Everyone from their sales staff, office staff and installers are wonderful to work with. Very professional.

Asked for bid to reside our manufactured home our calls were returned promptly, the bid was thorough and offered several options at different prices and products.

Said the job would take four days, it took four days. Finished price was exactly what was bid.

Crew was professional and very helpful. Had a problem with a section of the house being sided, brought it to the attention of Cody (Crew Leader) who immediately said "this is not right and I will personally make sure it is done correctly" which he did.

I took a risk with only one bid upon the recommendation of another building contractor and was not disappointed. We are pleased to recommend them.

S&K put on our last roof 22+ years ago with courtesy and professionalism. It's why we went back, and it's why we recommend them to anyone who asks.

I needed to have a remodel project done and called them. The girl I talked to told me they didnt do remodeling right now only siding and roofing. But she was so nice and recommended another builder to me and even took the time to text me their contact information. When we get to the end of our project and need roofing and siding they are the people I will call!

I have owned two houses in my life, and when each needed a new roof, Stutzman got the job. Each time, I did my research. I got bids and researched materials. Hands down both times, Stutzman came in with the best bid. They are not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but they are the fairest.
Once I accepted their bid, they were on time to the job, got it done when they said they would, left the property spotless and the job was on budget.
If you need a new roof, give these folks a call, you wont be disappointed !

New roof installed but attic vent left covered with duct work for dryer vent discarded in attic. Major fire hazard! Worker never bothered to tell me he left duct work disassembled even though I gave direct access to my attic. Crazy! I would not recommend this group! If you have to use them inspect your attic immediately for disassembled venting! I called the homeowners manager to alert him and he said “he’d get back to me!”

This is the second time I've used Stutzman and Kropf for projects on my commercial building in Corvallis. The first time was a new roof and I was amazed how professional they were. This time around it was new siding. They were on-time each and everyday and stayed right on schedule. They are true professionals at a price that can't be beat. Everyone I've worked with in the company has just excelled and the quality of work is fantastic. I will for sure use them again in the future.

My sister and I could not be happier! From the estimate with Bruce to the scheduling with Courtney and on to the reroof, every person I worked with was extremely professional. Jesus and his roofing crew were friendly, courteous, and efficient and I especially appreciated how communicative Jesus was throughout the job, apprising me of their progress several times over the course of the day. They took great care to protect our landscaping and took their time with clean-up, and at the end of the job you really wouldn't have known they'd been there were it not for our beautiful new roof! Stutzman & Kropf will be the first contractors we'll consider if we need anything else done at our property in the future.

After years of dealing with a leaky garage/shop roof, I embarked on a DIY re-framing and sheeting adventure that took about 15 months, which included a lengthy period of no work due to an extended, rainy/snowy winter. I had no idea when I finally finished my project that finding a roofing contractor to lay down the shingles would be so difficult. Every local (Corvallis, OR) contractor I called was booked, some for 6 months out, which meant another fall/winter of tarps and the inevitable leaks. Courtney at Stutzman & Kropf took to heart my predicament. On the Saturday before the 2017 total eclipse, Courtney squeezed me into their already jam-packed schedule and sent out a great crew that showed up on time and knocked out the paper/shingles in about 7 hrs. I couldn't be happier with the work, the price, and the efforts of S&K to get me a cover before the (now) rainy, fall weather kicked in. Can't thank 'em enough!

Stutzman and Kropf Contractors Inc. just did our roof. It is beautiful. The foreman was very professional, the workers worked very hard. They presented us with a bid and were right on the money. We appreciate their service and skill. The cleanup was thorough and complete. We would recommend them for any job you may have for them.

There are other local companies to use but will say buyer be ware of this particular company. Im shocked and sickened by what has happened to us and just hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.

I have never used this construction company. I have recently moved to this area. I was at Home Depot and decided I would purchase a portable air conditioning unit for my very small home. I am a senior citizen; I picked the unit to put on my cart; it was so heavy that it nearly pulled me over! There, out of nowhere, was someone wearing a "Stutzman & Knopf" shirt, assisting the Home Depot employee to load the cart. After I paid for my products, there he was again ... offering to help me load my car. I don't know who this person was ... own r, good natured employee ... good natured to be sure. At any rate, if all employees or members of society practiced random acts of kindness such as this and spread cheer as this fella did, the world would be a better place! Hats off to Stutzman & Kropf! Kindness will see your company go far!. The have need for storm doors on my very tiny home. Research will tell me if you do very small jobs such as this. If you do, you will be hearing from me soon.

They did a great job and cleaned up my yard afterward. We had dry rot on parts of the roof from living on the coast. They took care of it before putting on the new roof. They brought in a crew and had it done in 3 days. I plan on using them on another house we own in a couple of years.

We recently had Stutzman and Kropf replace our home and garage roof. I called numerous roofing places but Stutzman was the ONLY company who responded so I looked no further. I was told from a reliable source that they were courteous and prompt. Very accurate description. They removed and replaced our home roof in one day. The cleanup job they did after the home roof was so good! They were back the next morning to remove and re-roof the garage. Once again a perfect job and a perfect clean up. From the first contact (Brett) to the last contact, paying the bill, everything went smooth and trouble free. Great company to deal with!

I've only had 1 experience with them and it was not that good. I didn't purchase any roofing since the rental agency probably took care of it so I wouldn't know the price or quality of the roof. Although in my backyard lays some pumpkin and spaghetti squash plants that quite a bit roofing happened to fall on. Now i'm sure it wasn't intentional (hope not) but since I didn't purchase the roofing myself I don't think they will clean the mess they made in my backyard.

I talked to my property manager and she told me that they were supposed to get as much as they could into the dump truck.

Like I said earlier I don't know the price or quality of the roof but the quality of service was lacking.

All around good people manage and run this company. I'm a former roofer and I would definitely use them for siding or roofing installation. They are a little bit more expensive. But with that said it does not matter if you get a 50 year roof ("life time roof"), if the installation is poor. Roofing is all about chef and not so much the ingredients. If a poor installer rushes laying down the shingles and high nails or lays them crooked, everything is flying off at the first sign of high wind. As a former roofer I would recommend Stutzman as #1 in the Willamette Valley.

If you want someone who gets the job done efficiently then these are your guys. They come, they work and even clean up after themselves which is rare these days. This is all on a rainy day mind you. Maybe they want to get the hell out of the rain but they sure do work fast.

Update: Had to reduce them to average. It's been three weeks since they finished the siding and they still have not finished caulking after they told me numerous times they would come here. Ended up paying my painter to finish their caulking job so I can get the siding painted.

I used this company for my siding and roof. Siding installation was okay but has major gaps and has needed to be re-caulked several times because of the gaps. Also there was one piece that just cracked right down the board from being to tight. Now the roofing installation was a joke. The old roof never leaked, I just replaced as part of a major remodel and have had nothing but problems ever since. I think I've had three different leaks to date and have needed to hire another contractor to reroof around my fireplace along with a drywall contractor to repair the damage. I will never use this contractor again nor would I recommend them to anyone. Beware
