I always have an excellent experience with Stubbs. They replaced the roof and gutters on our last house and did an outstanding job. So much so that it contributed to the house selling for the asking price! This time around, I needed the useless chimney removed on our current removed and the roof repaired. On a nearly 20-year-old roof, the job looks so good and so seamless that unless I point out that there was once a chimney, you'd be hard-pressed to know the shingles in that one spot are new. No issues with the job and the small crew were courteous, friendly, and worked steadily to complete the job in a few hours. I am quite pleased with the work!

They responded quickly to examine the damage to my roof and then scheduled to quickly come fix it for a fair price on time. Easy to work with and fast. My damage was from a tree limb, small area of deck needed replacing.

Had a leak on a vent pipe. I called Stubbs Roofing for service. They had a gentleman out the next day to check the problem. He was thorough, professional, and took photos of the problem area. He showed me the leak area and stated he would get with his boss about scheduling the repair. The office called a day later to set an appointment for the repair. The appointment was scheduled for 10 am , the repairman showed up before the appointment time and repaired everything .Great service and response time.

These guys were great. They priced everything very fair. They were great with communicating start times with all the rain. They kept me in the loop when plans changed and they needed to fix things that weren’t on the estimate. The roofers themselves were so kind, they cleaned up very well, and worked their butts off. We just bought a new house to move into since we’re turning this one into a rental and we will most certainly use this company again when we need a new roof on that house.

Well I can't say enough about this company. Oscar went well out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. They responded right away, when I found out I had a leak on my roof. Then he made sure to come out before it rained to minamize damage. Hire them and keep the number in your phone. Worth every penny!

Had some issues catching up with them for warranty work but they were understanding about my frustration once we connected to and did an excellent job of working with me to fix it.

We are so thankful we chose Stubbs! We knew we had an issue with the front of our house and roof, but were shocked at the damage on the back side of the house that was hidden. I vetted 5 other local roofing companies that all came out before I found Stubbs and not a single company ever noticed that there was a potential issue on the backside of the house. In fact, no other company could even diagnose our issue properly so had we gone with anyone else, we would have been out thousands of dollars and still had issues down the road! We will be using Stubbs in the future for all of our roofing and gutter needs! We also can’t say enough good things about Oscar Aguilar (Evan Fuller, too) who was always so prompt, thorough, respectful and just so easy to work with!

Oscar from Stubbs Roofing in Tallahassee was wonderful! He did what he said he would do and did it well. My phone calls and texts were returned promptly. A repair was all that was needed due to improper installation of valley shingles by another company that roofed the house before I bought it. The repair saved me big bucks and was affordable. One other company did not return two calls and another did not return my call after finding out I wanted a repair and not a complete roof. Both of these companies installed roofs in my neighborhood. I will always use Stubbs Roofing. They are Master Elite Certified and their work and customer service proves it. Thank you Oscar and crew for a job well done and a very satisfied customer!

I contacted Stubbs Roofing company and they were quick to respond and send someone out to look at the roof and give me an estimate because there was a lot of debris and some granular loss to shingles. I needed the work done fairly quickly fand they were able to get it done well within the time frame I needed. Oscar was great and the staff at the office. They were very professional and sent me picture updates for before and after the work was done. When I had questions about the work, I got a fairly quick response within 24 hours. I appreciate you, Oscar and company.

Stubbs has been our go-to for roofing replacement and repairs over the last few years. Their prices have been very competitive and the work is always done quickly but with great care and attention. We recently sold a home that required roofing work to be completed and Stubbs was able to get our project completed immediately so there was no delay to closing.

I have mixed feelings about Stubbs, but Oscar A's recent service has led me to leave a positive review. Oscar was fantastic and I will request him by name on any future project. He single-handedly earned this 5-star review. If you care to read the backstory, here it is: I had a new roof installed by Stubbs and immediately had major leaks around my skylights. They came back and tightened some bolts around the skylights which came loose during the roof install. This helped but I still had a leak during major downpours. The representative who oversaw the roof install came out a few times and basically said "I dunno, you could buy new skylights." (Side note: it is apparently advised to get new skylights when you get a new roof, but no one at Stubbs mentioned this to me until months into this leak. I would have bought new ones and avoided the headache had I known before.) The rep didn't offer any sort of compensation or discount for this issue, making it clear that he didn't care much about my business now that the project was over. Months went by and I was in the process of getting a different company to fix the problem, but figured I'd give Stubbs one last chance. At this point, Oscar showed up, figured out the problem within 10 minutes and then came up with a repair plan that has worked (so far, 2 months out). He took full responsibility for the previous mistakes and didn't charge me a dime. He made sure the work was done properly and communicated throughout the process. I couldn't be more impressed with his work. Moral of the story: if you go with Stubbs, ask for Oscar!

Excellent company! We bought the house last year and found roof damage after a recent storm. The roof was installed by Stubbs Roofing in 2014, but they still honored the warranty and repaired it within a week and free of charge. The staff members, Maranda and Oscar, are very friendly and professional. Oscar was particularly helpful. He accessed the damage and came again to check the repair work. The worker (didn't get his name) did a perfect job even the weather was bad. We are very thankful and would definitely want to do business with the company in the future.

Stubbs was one of several roofers I reached out to for a quote. I chose them due to their competitive pricing relative to the products they offer. Also for how how quickly they'd respond to my questions and for the warranty they offer. They were able to start the job ahead of time and finished ahead of schedule. A+

Dustin did a wonderful job on our gutters! Stubbs was prompt to respond to our original inquiry and provided a timely quote. When we were ready for installation they came and installed them within two weeks and had everything done in a few hours. We highly recommend their services.

I cannot recommend Stubbs Roofing. After Hurricane Michael dropped a tree on my house, they replaced my roof in February 2019. There were a number of problems, but Richard Brantly was outstanding and went out of his way to smooth things over and make sure I was taken care of. Unfortunately I did not realize it but they installed the shingles incorrectly around my skylights - they put the shingles OVER the flashing instead of UNDER the flashing and not a single person on the crew or the supervisors or head guys noticed. It wasn't until I was moving furniture around in the bedroom that I found extensive water damage and black mold. They came out and admitted the shingles had been installed incorrectly and claimed they would take care of all of the damage inside and out. They replaced the shingles and underlayment the next day, but I have gotten nothing but delays, not returned calls, unanswered messages, and everything else regarding the inside repairs. I am breathing black mold and an entire wall of my bedroom is damaged due to their negligence, and they are not responding to me. I have left innumerable messages for the president Dustin Stubbs who has yet to return a single phone call. The vice president Christina Wolcott has been incredibly UNhelpful - not returning phone calls, not responding to emails, flat out lying to me, even telling me that the damage would not have been this bad had I reported it sooner - like somehow this is MY fault. DO NOT USE STUBBS ROOFING!! Learn from my mistake! Hire a company that has integrity and follows through on what they say they will do, or, better yet, hire a company that does the job right the first time so your home and health are not damaged by their incompetence as mine have been.

Stubbs Roofing provided excellent service! I reviewed at least five other companies in Tallahassee and settled on Stubbs because of their ratings. I was not disappointed. The estimate was provided quickly and professionally, the crew showed up on schedule, worked with high competence, used quality materials, and left my home cleaner than when they arrived. Customer service was excellent!

Stubbs has damaged my ceiling during reroof. They did offer partial refund but it will not cover hardly any of the cost. Suggested I contact a specialist in panel roofs. I believed they were experts and that is why I hired them. 4 workers stood on an aluminum add on roof causing significant damage to ceiling. Reported 2nd leak on February 7th and they still haven't came out to fix it.
Updated to add: they are now under investigation with Department of Business and Professional Regulations.
