After tornados rolled through our neighborhood these guys got my house put back together quick! The repairs look great and you can't even tell there was any damage in the first place.

Dustin Wells Construction recently renovated our master bathroom. They did an excellent job, paying attention to details, timeliness, and work quality. Their skilled tradesmen were polite, friendly, and did high quality work. Everyone, from office personnel to onsite foremen were genuinely concerned about the appearance of the finished work. Had storm damage to my house when a large pine tree fell on it. A friend had the same thing happen to her house a few months earlier and she used and recommended Dustin Wells Construction. The workers were courteous and professional. The work was very good, well-supervised, and done when promised. It is an honest and well-run company. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We hired Dustin Wells Construction to do a complete renovation of our master bathroom. Dustin's personnel and his subcontractors did excellent, professional work. The coordination of the project was also top notch, with no undue delays. Thomas, the project manager, is excellent to work with.

In preparation for the work, they put up containment (plastic sheeting) to keep the dust and mess confined to the work area. They also put down floor protection in the traffic areas.

The finished product looks amazing, like a bathroom you'd see in a magazine. We are very happy with it.

My husband and I used Dustin Wells for our home renovations in July of 2022. From start to finish, Dustin and his team were professional and responsive. He helped us stay within our budget and the quality of work was outstanding. We had the floors replaced in our entire house, interior painting of most rooms, updated fixtures in master bath and kitchen, updated cabinets, and new countertops in bath and kitchen. We were thrilled with the results and continue to enjoy our beautifully updated home. Thomas fixed an appliance that I paid 2 companies prior to come out and fix. Brilliant- this appliance had been beeping for years!!! It was second nature for him. Thomas made a difference just by coming out to do the estimate for my bathroom. I plan on using Dustin Wells construction.

My family and I have been using Mr. Wells services for 20+ years. We have called him whenever we need contracting work of any kind and he has never disappointed. He is fair and honest and is willing to take the extra time to explain the procedures that will be followed. His laborers are always first-rate and he is always available should an issue arise. Over the years, I have learned that he is also community-oriented. He is very trustworthy.

They came to give us an estimate on enlarging our kitchen and Sunporch, they never returned and never called back! I don't understand that at all, we live in a nice home, we are nice people to work with, and I hate giving poor reviews, but this is what happened! To be honest, I was shocked. I have had people who give me overly high estimates, but not give us any estimate is a poor way to do business.

Pluses:

1) Mr. Wells allowed email communication.

2) Mr. Wells took the time to answer my detailed questions about drywall repair.

3) This business supposedly contributes to food programs to the least among us.

4) Mr. Wells made an effort to save me money by suggesting I consult with a drywall company for the minor drywall repair we need.

Minus:

Mr. Wells got kind of testy with me via email when I did not accept an appt time to do the job between 7:30 and 8:00 AM - When I told him 9:00 AM worked better for me, he stated that, "My people can't just wait around for two hours." I didn't think he was flexible at all. It was a knee-jerk reaction. I have never dealt with a company owner or customer rep. that didn't coordinate with me on appt times that fit into my schedule. The customer is supposed to come first!

Overall, I think a 3 star rating is fair.

From the outset, Dustin and his associates spent time with us going into meticulous detail listening to what we wanted and providing valuable insight along the way. We ultimately decided to renovate our kitche, get rid of unused space in the dining room by building a butler pantry and renovate a bathroom. They kept us informed of any price changes and any diffuculties along the way that would impact his schedule. They worked with us to keep the dust down which was a huge positive for my wife. In the end, he created a project that is beautiful and on time!

I initially contracted with Dustin to replace my rotten porch columns and railings, replace a French door with a sliding door and identify and repair two areas where we had water intruding into the house. Also, while he and his crew were here I asked if he would replace all of the exterior window trim which uncovered a very long list of unexpected prior workmanship issues that I won’t get into in this review. But let’s just say that the prior workmanship issues were the cause of the two leaks and caused more damage than we expected. But by the end of it Dustin and his crews completed all of the original contracted work and also had to make roof repairs, replace all of the siding and trim on my house and then have it painted. I also had him demolish and replace my deck with a larger one. Everything turned out great and I couldn’t be happier.
I’m so glad that I chose Dustin as my contractor. I can’t imagine going through all that we have been through over the last few months with anyone else. He has been great to work with, friendly, supportive, honest, respectful, detailed and his customer service is impeccable. Dustin was always available to answer all my questions no matter how long it took.
I will definitely call Dustin again for any future work I need done and I have and will continue to refer my friends to Dustin.

Dustin Wells Construction has just completed a complete revamping of my kitchen, including new flooring, countertops, backsplash, sink, and cabinets repainted. I absolutely love it!! Dustin did a complete master bath remodel and he came in under the quoted price! Not only did he save us money, but he also completed the project within the quoted timeline. Dustin Wells construction exceeded all my expectations. After we had a tree go through our roof during Hurricane Michael, Dustin personally walked us through the insurance process and spent countless hours haggling with the insurance company on our behalf. From the permit pulling process, new trusses and roof, sheet-rock replacement, new floors, and painting, the whole process took less than a month. Every employee was professional and Dustin was personally available at a moments notice and came to check on the progress frequently. I will be referring this company to family and friends and be using them for any future projects :)

I have been wanting to remodel my kitchen and master bath in my home and was given the run around by many construction companies. Setting appointments and them not showing up. I was browsing around and opened a sight and your construction company came up and was very happy with your reviews so I decided to give it one more shot . When I called I got the answering machine and let a message in regards to the work I would like to have done on my home.Then with in a few minutes my phone rang and it was Mr. Dustin Wells we talked for a few and he came over that afternoon and discussed the job in detail. The next morning he had quoted me a price for the remodeling of my kitchen and master bath and had a drawing of the two and passed by and it was a done deal. Demo of the work happened with in a couple of days and was very happy with how they kept both areas clean during the rip out . The crew was very nice and polite and was able to work around my schedule. Not to long after they started the new kitchen and master bath I was amazed how fast they worked and what quality and craftsmanship they all had . When everything was all said and done their was no hidden charges or surprises just what the quote was and that’s all . I am loving my new kitchen and master bath as we speak and would absolutely use his company again . Thankyou for all your hard work and your team of experts.
