With over 30 years in the real estate industry, I have had the opportunity to work with dozens of roofers. When it came time to replace the roof on my own home, I reached out to three highly rated and well respected roofing companies.

Of the three, my wife and I selected Stout based upon their price, professionalism and follow-up. Once they completed the job, we were exceedingly grateful that we selected them. Their workmanship turned out to be second to none. And they left the job site spotless.

I wish I could give them ten stars. Hands down the best roofing company in the valley. From start to finish their employees are on time and professional. Workers did a very unsatisfactory job on my roof. Out of 5 items stated on the contract only did 2 and 1 of them was sloppy. Inspector had to come and complete the job after me calling the company and asking for him to come personally. He then finished the job the right way.

I'm building a backyard workshop with a steeply pitched roof, 8/12 pitch, and really didn't want to try shingling it myself. I sent out 10 proposals to companies listed as factory master installers by the shingle manufacturer I wanted to use. Travis Casey at family owned Stout Roofing in Mesa, AZ gave me an extremely competitive quote, stating the same materials and installation practices of companies wanting up to 20% more. Of the other 5 companies who responded to my request, all but 1 were more expensive and wanted anywhere from 10% to 50% down payment before starting! I paid no money to Stout Roofing until the job was completed!

An accident during construction put me almost 2 months behind, in the build, but Stout Roofing stood fast to their quote through the recovery period and performed an excellent install as soon as I gave them the go ahead, using all the materials recommended by the Shingle manufacturer and listed on the quote. The jobsite was left in spotless condition after the install. I would definitely recommend Stout Roofing to anyone needing a new or replacement shingle roofing job.

From the first call to finish these people have been very easy to work with. The nearly flat patio roof and the stem wall around it were completely spray foamed them sealed. All the broken tiles were replaced and everything was cleaned up. I expect this repair/upgrade to be very long lasting! Highly recommend!

Some years ago - approximately 14 yrs ago a man in a truck lost control went through hedges and across our parking pad hitting my husband’s front of his truck moving it angularly onto the grounds of my south neighbors walk way and into his wall. And in the interim hit the very edge of our garage upright and garage door. Farmers repaired stucco and paint- intime seems and repair are still visual. Farmers never went up to check the roof ever. They repaired the garage drywall when we began having leeks a few years later but they never went on
the roof. Now they say no Pay Out! We will make a report for consideration again.

We can not say enough about how impressed we are with Stout Roofing. Travis came out right away as we were leaving town and inspected the roof for us. He took several pictures so we could see exactly what the problems were. They came out in a timely manner to do to repairs and again took several pictures to show the progression of work so we could see exactly what they did and the end product, all for a fair price. Their inspection was very thorough (they identified issues that had been missed earlier). We had an excellent experience with Stout Roofing. Their communication was excellent - very prompt on email and very clear with their estimate, timeline, etc. They started right when they said they would and finished on time and on budget. The crew was very considerate and went the extra mile in cleaning up all of the debris that was created when pulling off and re-foaming our flat roof. They also took comprehensive photos of the "before" and "after" and helped us to understand what was completed. We would highly recommend them!
**Updating this 2 years later - the crew came back, repaired some holes left by pecking birds and power washed the roof at no charge! I couldn't believe it! Such a great experience - we really feel like they care and are going the extra mile for us.

Chad Casey and the crew at Stout did an amazing job on our re-roof. The communication was on point (beyond my expectation) and all my dates were met on time and verified before they arrived, well beyond service you will receive from most these days. Stout Roofing did a great job repairing / replacing our tile roof after we sustained damage in a winter storm. I recommend Stout Roofing to anyone that has roof problems.

Chad came and out and gave me a 44 page inspection report with a quote for my roof when I was only looking for a roof replacement quote. This, IMO, is above and beyond my expectations and shows a lot of honesty. I was quoted a very fair price for the work entailed, replacing all shingles, installing new underlayment, drip edge, etc. and resealing the flat foam roof portion of roof above my garage. The work was done quickly and professionally 1 day for the shingle portion and 1 day for the foam roof portion, cleanup was done very well. Chad is extremely responsive to phone calls and emails and doesn’t leave you hanging for such a busy industry.

I would definitely recommend Stout Roofing. They quickly came out to assess my roof damage, provided a quote the same day and were able to take care of the repairs in a timely manner. The workers were professional and did a great job and cleaned up well when they were finished.

We used Stout Roofing to replace our roof which was original to our house that was built in 1995 and was in bad shape. We got the recommended 3 different quotes and Stout was right in the middle. What we liked best was how informative Chad was when we got the estimate. We have a tile roof so all the underlayment was replaced along with the flashings and other items. They showed up on time and completed the job on time. Took them 3 days of hard work. Each evening they cleaned up so that when they left you couldn't even tell they were there. I would definitely use them again and recommend you do too.

They did a great job. Replacement tile were needed but the color was discontinued. They found a color that was very close but not a match. The crew placed the replacement tiles in locations that were not visible from ground. They did a good job cleaning.

After Roof Inspection, it was determined the roof has not been touched since the house was built, over 35 years ago. Chad was a professional. After inspection, he explained very well what needed to be done, how long it will take and estimated cost.

The 5-employees that did our roof were young, fast and knowledgeable roofers. They did roof repair on our original house and installed the roof on our addition. They were friendly, courteous and worked hard..... even in temperatures over 110 degrees. They were done in one day and a half. In particular, I want to thank them for keeping our yard clean after each work day.

The supervisor were very patient with me and answered all my questions regarding the roof installation and repair. He was a good guy.

We had a storm about 2-weeks after the roof was completed and did not have any problems. I recommend this company for your next roof inspection/repair/installation.

Stout did a quality job on a tight timeline at a fair price on a house we were selling. I was impressed with the work, photo records of the work and good communication. I was so impressed that I had them do a roof inspection on our newly purchased home despite the fact that an inspection and repair had been done on the roof prior to our purchase. The inspection pictures revealed that the roof was in good condition generally, but the inspector had missed a couple of broken tiles, some chipped tiles that needed repair and an area that needed some glue down.
With the additional repairs done, I have confidence that I have a good baseline from which to have inspections going forward every three years to maximize the life of my tile roof.
