We had our share of bad contractors but Glen has shown us that good contractors are still around. Not just good great honest hard-working on time with a great price and great workmanship. We highly recommend Glen!!

Any issues that came up, whether they were related to the original projects or not, Glen handled them. He showed me how to do smaller projects myself. Everything from assessing paint colors to discussing how to maintain my new home...Glen and I collaborated and his input was integral. His strong communication skills constantly kept me in the loop on all of the progress at the house. He has been kind and reassuring during what should have been a stressful time, but having him work on my home truly put my mind at ease. I’ve used Glen and his company for scheduled jobs as well as an emergency situation on a weekend. He has always been very responsive and his communication during the processes is superb. The way he has kept an open line of communication throughout each project has far exceeded our expectations. The work his company does has been high quality and they are willing to address any issues that may come up during or after completion. I highly recommend him to family and friends.

Glen worked on my condo and made a wonderful transformation of once an outdated condo to a modern face lifted condo He accommodated all the requests, be it small and large. His follow thru was excellent after the work was completed.

I didn’t hire Glen for a job, but I wanted to share my story. I purchased wood from Home Depot that wouldn’t fit in my car. When I went back inside to see if the store could cut it, they said no since it was pressure treated. Glen overheard and offered to help me cut it in the parking lot with his saw. If it wasn’t for him, I’d still be at Home Depot cutting it by hand. Thanks Glen!

Glen and his crew were awesome. We wanted to move in July 1 2024. Glen made it happen. He painted the whole house, installed new flooring, replaced the basement steps and took apart a handmade entertainment center and moved it to the basement. He also replaced all the door and baseboards. He was constantly keeping us informed and finished early. He also replaced a concrete pad on my front walk way. I would and will use Glen for future projects and suggest you use him as well. A great experience the house is night and day different .

Had another contractor cause a gas leak in our home that we found out about Saturday evening. He had just gotten home and dropped everything to come take a look and give us a quote so we could get our gas back on as soon as possible. Came out Sunday and got all the necessary stuff swapped out so that the gas company can come in and get our gas turned back on right away. Incredibly professional and caring throughout the whole (thankfully brief!) process. Cannot recommend this company enough.

I highly recommend Glen Stough Painting and Contracting for your roofing needs. Whether you need a repair or complete replacement. Glen offers a great warranty on top of the manufacturer warranty associated with the shingles. He explained in great detail what needed to be done to my roof, showed me proof with pictures as he was inspecting my roof and gave me a fair and honest bid. He stayed while his team was replacing my roof and also was inspecting the workmanship as they were working. He also stayed in contact with my insurance adjuster giving updates making this process seamless and easy for me. Best part, they showed up on time for the job when they said they would be at my house. That’s a rarity these days!

I had a large commercial roof in need of repair. It was a huge job. There was a break in the weather so Glen and his crew got after it and it was complete in three days. He did everything he said he would. When the roof needed extra work, he provided photos and a detailed explanation of the problem.
I will be calling him again for any needed repairs. Highly recommended.

Would give 6 stars if I could… Glen’s crew did some repairs caused by a previous contractor and it turned out better than my house looked before the first incident.
Glen came out personally to evaluate the job before he started and was extremely professional, timely, and went out his way to make sure he provided the best service. The work was completed only days after his initial visit by an individual who was precisely on time from when he said he would be there, had a great attitude, did an awesome job! I will definitely be using them for any future projects!

Glen is amzazing and the work is equally so. He really cares about his vlients amd even when things are not going perfect he will work with you to get to the best possible outcome. I cannot reccomend highly enough!

Strough painting & Contracting put on a new roof yesterday. I appreciated how the owner, Glen, explained the roof system that was to be installed. I worked for a roofing company in Florida so I understood what he was installing and knew he was being honest during the whole process.

While they were doing the roof, I was fixing something inside. Unfortunately, dealing with an old house you never know what to expect. Well, something broke that I don’t have the ability to fix myself. I went outside and asked Glen his opinion. He said would give me a quote and can do the job next week. I’m so glad to have found him!

I had the exterior of my house painted and the painters were very professional, communicative, and did an excellent job. The pricing was very reasonable and fair. I would highly recommend.

Glen impressed me from the very beginning. It's not often you find a contractor who responds within a minute to an online inquiry. He got out to give me a roof repair estimate within a day and gave me his professional recommendations with explanation and photos. My project ended up being much bigger than I initially anticipated (an entirely new roof) and he remained super communicative throughout the process. His crew always showed up when he said they would, are super friendly, and go above and beyond to make you happy. Glen was also willing to work with us on pricing. My partner and I joked that he better have meant it when he said he liked us, because we have his number and will definitely be calling him again for future projects.

Great company to work with for home improvements. We needed a new roof and exterior painting. So glad we got them to do work for us. Everything about our experience with Glen and his crew has been five star. The energy and the can do attitude is what sold my husband and I on using this company for our fix and flip property. Great experience with Glen I had 30 year old cabinets to be painted. I contacted him immediately responded and was on the job the next day really good communicator, fast easy neat professional, extremely trust worthy kept every word he said text all the supplies which was included in the price. He is not only a talented painter. He is great helping with coordinating colors and design the 30 year old cabinets ended up making two coats of primer six coats of paint which he did with perfection and never increase the cost the cabinets look like now not only is he a great contractor, a wonderful human being very kind and 100% dedicated to giving you a beautiful job. Glenn and his cousin just finished installing a new roof at my house. I am BEYOND happy with the price, the expertise and the quality. Even more so impressive was the more than incredible sense of being awesome human beings.

I got hooked up with this company because I posted a Facebook post because my house was leaking. Glenn replied that night, was at the house within 30 minutes and fixed the issue. He WOULD NOT accept payment for that. He let me know I needed a new roof, which I knew, and gave me a quote the next day. It was an incredible quote, so we went with it. I’m so glad we did!! The workmanship is 1000% top notch, but Glenn went above and beyond to take care of myself and my wife. Way beyond the roof work also. He knew we are hurting for money so he didn’t gouge us, BUT he discussed offering a job to me and looked into getting me another position in my desired field.

I cannot stress enough how amazing this company is or how amazing this entire experience was. I DO NOT plan on using ANYONE ELSE EVER for any work that they can perform!!

The gentleman were courteous and friendly, and they took great care not to damage my gardens around the house when they did the exterior painting. They also found some much-needed repair that needed to be done to the roof and gutters, and did that for us as well. They were also very neat. The price was right as well. When any problems were encountered, we were able to work together to come up with pragmatic solutions without additional change order gouging experienced with other contractors used. I have used him for multiple projects for three different houses and will use him for future needs as well. His staff have a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
