StormGuard recently completed a roofing project on two of our condo buildings.They arrived on time, and got straight to work. The crews were very professional and courteous. This was a 3 day project and they cleaned as they went from one area to the next. When the work was finished, the project manager Travis inspected both buildings, taking pictures as he went. There were a few small issues that needed attention, and a crew came the next day to take care of them.
I enjoyed working with Travis! He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I look forward to working with him on another roofing project next summer.
I would also like to acknowledge Eli and Leaha. They stayed in touch with me, and readily answered any questions or concerns I had. I want to also thank Hunter and Nick for their part in getting this project completed.

Storm Guard did a great job of putting a new roof on. Mark the supervisor told me everything they would be doing. As with anyone who has had a roofing job done, you worry about the clean-up. After they were done, thought I found a piece of trash, but no, just blew in from the neighbors yard. LOL. Mark did an excellent job, if I ever needed another roof, I would ask for him!

My insurance company recommended Jeff Floit , Sales Manager, of Storm Guard. He came out and looked at the hail damage and worked with me on everything that needed replaced. We just had our roof replaced by StormGuard and it is absolutely beautiful. We couldnt be more pleased. The crew arrived early in the morning and had the job completed around 5:00 or so. They cleaned up the yard and left it in perfect condition.

I’m totally pleased with my experience with Storm Guard Roofing of Columbus. From the beginning when Luis Gonzalez came to identify the leaking issue and his continued follow up and assistance. Then the follow up from Eli McCoy when the stucco workers identified additional issues with water damage, he walked me through the process to make me feel at ease. The stucco team coming on Saturday and Sunday to ensure the work was completed before the next rain. I’m very happy with the work and service from the entire team. Great experience.

We had some cedar boards replaced on our house due to woodpecker damage. Travis did a great job replacing the boards. Eli was very good communicating with us regarding the details of the job. Great company to work with!

We would recommend Travis Speakman for any roof issue. He is the best. He explains everything in detail so that you understand what needs to be done. He came out same day and explained everything. Tim came to my home to check for long-term damage. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. Anyone would have peace of mind with someone like Tim checking their roof.

I had leak from my window dormers on my older after a new roof last year. Its a 2 story home so its impossible to see and a mansard roof which is more difficult. The issue wasnt caught then which I wish it had been but Hunter helped come up with a solution now. It took a while due to weather but that's Ohio. Communication from the office staff while waiting could be better to keep you in the loop and scheduling can be hard if you work. But once the job started, Travis and Erin were my site supervisors. They were professional and introduced themselves before the work started. Travis answered my questions and was responsive when I called. After the job was done, they walked the site and helped me understand what they did to fix the leak from the window dormers. I appreciate Storm Guard working to fix the outside primary issue now. They are working to schedule the rest of the job but I hope the leaking issues are resolved for good.

Marc Lajo and his crew did a great job replacing my Mom's roof. They were here early in the morning and worked diligently till the job was complete. They did an okay cleanup when they were done but came back upon request to pickup what was missed. Jacob Thomas (sales rep) came by and checked on the job. He made sure we were satisfied with how things were going and had the crew put a tarp inside under the skylight to protect the area. Looking forward to finishing the job with new gutters and downspouts.

Jacob, Tim R, and Jesse were amazing to work with. We had a serious leak in our sunroom and needed a replacement TPO roof. The team was extremely professional and responsive to our request. In a time of high stress on our side, they couldn't have been nicer or easier to work with. Will be my next call no question if we need any additional work done moving forward.

Our experience with roof replacement by Storm Guard was excellent. The job proceeded smoothly and the site supervisor, Mark, kept us well informed about progress throughout the day.

Travis is a great Site Supervisor. We discovered an issue after removing the shingles and all the boards had to be replaced. Travis jumped in, explained everything in great detail, and took care of everything needed. Travis and his crew worked hard and very late to complete the entire roof since we had rain coming in the next day. Great customer service with quick responses. Everything was totally cleaned up when they were done.

If there would have been more stars, I would have given them. StormGuard did a wonderful job putting on a new roof on my home. Could not have been any happier with my experience from start to finish. JACOB THOMAS was the first person from StormGuard who contacted me. He inspected my roof, which included him taking pictures. Then we sat down and he explained what needed to be done. There was a small problem with my insurance company. Jacob came back a second time and we both spoke to the claims adjuster and the problem was solved. He also stopped by to talk with me the day my roof was replaced.LEAH was assigned to be my contact person for the project. She did an outstanding job of staying in contact with me and answering my questions. The day my new roof was put on my house, TRAVIS SPEAKMAN was the site supervisor. He contacted me before the work was started and explained what they were doing and asked if I had any questions. When the work was completed, he checked everything and was the last one to leave. Looking at my house and yard afterwards, you could not tell, just hours before, my roof was replaced. They did a wonderful job cleaning up the area when finished. I highly recommend StormGuard.

We had what we thought was a leak in our vent in our main restroom. We had the roof redone a few months ago and they replaced the vent caps for us so I thought maybe it had something to do with that. Our cieling around the vent started to turn brown. So we called and Travis came to look at what may be causing the issue. Travis was super polite, listened to my concerns. I showed him the areas in question he looked took pics and then went to the attic. He assured me that it had nothing to do with anything that the company had done but did tell me what the issue could possibly be and let me know how to also fix that issue. He was very professional and courteous. Thank you Travis for all your help and understanding. Would definitely recommend.

Jacob came out twice to confirm the issue and took care of things immediately. He saw that we had light insulation in the attic and recommended a contractor to help us with that issue who was contacted and came along on the second visit to give us a quote. His GM accompanied him on the second visit as well and the issue was quickly verified with their drone and inside the attic inspection once the snow was off the roof. That’s going above and beyond!! Great work, Jacob!

Summary: Jacob (Sales) 10/10, Roof 10/10, Siding 5/10. Communications with our insurance company 10/10. Communications during installation 3/10.

We reached out to Storm Guard since we had a leak from our roof. Jacob came out and inspected the roof as well as gave us an estimate in an appropriate amount of time. He was wonderful in letting us know what his company offers a well as following up at appropriate times without putting any pressure. We had the choice of a temporary fix or replace the whole roof. We chose Storm Guard since they deal with the insurance company directly as much as they can and then there are some emails and calls that they will ask us to do since they can't represent us in those communications. So while we decided to go with the temporary fix, Storm Guard dealt with the insurance company. They got the insurance company to replace the whole roof and siding (which was also damaged by a storm).

The roof was replaced in a decent time. No issues here.

The siding took time to get the parts. After that a team came out to install the siding on a Friday. They left a bunch of trash (food and drinks) over the weekend when it was really hot, so it attracted a lot of bugs. There was no communication on if they were done or if they still needed to complete some other tasks. I had to reach out to the Jacob who connected me the with the manager that sends teams out to the field. The manager apologized and gave us a $250 credit. The team came back and cleaned up. During inspection, there was caulking not properly put on/missed, our signs were not placed back in the correct positions. We had three rounds of going back and forth of point things out to Jacob, and then pointing things out to the manager and after the third round where there is still missing caulking, I just gave up because I wanted to be done with this. Also, the communication for when someone would come to fix these minor issues and when they actually came was never accurate, they would say they’d come on one day and then come the next or even the week after, unannounced. Pictures are added to this review. Less than 6 months after the siding was installed, a couple pieces came off due to wind. I called and they had someone come the next day to put the pieces back up.

For the payment side, since the roof and siding were on separate invoices due to when insurance approved them, there was a bit of a mix up. However, everyone in that company that I spoke to in billing as well as Jacob were nice about any miscommunications. It took some extra attention and re-explaining, but everything got solved in the end and I have no complaints.

They were great with their work. We had some issue but Gavin was always there to solve the problem. I recommend this company if your looking for place to get things done for you house. Overall the experience with storm guard was great!

They did an awesome job on my roof. Travis Speakman the site supervisor was awesome he took me around my house to see my roof and everything looks good. Tim Alamanov has been awesome and patient with us throughout this process.

Update: So everything I said above is true except my bathroom fan is not working after the roof was repaired. We had someone come out to our home and the guy said the ceiling fan was old and stop working. However, the ceiling fan was working fine until the roof was repaired and stopped working the day the roof was repaired. The guy didn’t seem to know what he was talking about. I’m dropping my review from a 5 to a 3 because everything above is true and my roof looks nice. My issue is with the person who came out to my home.

Update: I received my new guitars today, and they look amazing. Travis the site Supervisor is amazing he was able to resolve my bathroom fan situation. Him and his crew Justin Smith and Ryan Loobier did a great job on my gutters. Also, the rest of the crew I do not have their names, but they all were amazing. Travis is very friendly and he has great customer service. Thank you Storm Guard for my new roof and gutters.

I hired Storm Guard for some soffit work. The entire experience which has now dragged on for 6 months has been horrible. In July, there were multiple reschedules before they actually came out to do the work. The first crew completed half the job. It took multiple more schedules which were once again no shows and then more reschedules for anyone to come out and do the rest of the work over multiple months. The work is still not done accurately as one of the crews who came out decided that instead of replacing the rotted soffit, they would just cover it with a thin piece of wood. In addition, my patio is torn up from on of the crews who did work on a part of my house that was not part of the project. Over the past 6 months, I’ve engaged Storm Guard management who has admitted the quality of work is poor and has promised to fix, but has yet to deliver on that promise. I could not be more disappointed.

Update: In March, the company came out and corrected the issues with the project to my satisfaction.

Some shingles on my roof seem to be detaching a bit when I looked at the roof from some distance so I contacted a few roofing companies. Andy of Storm Guard came to look at my roof. He educated me very patiently by showing me the pictures he took on the roof including the normal signs of wear and tear, some vally area facing north that usually will age sooner than other areas. He confirmed no nails popped and no shingles detached. It's just the tip of some pieces have a bigger gap than other pieces. He was very honest with me that he would not recommend any repair at stage at all. Not like another company told me they would replace about 35 shingles and quoted me $1300+. I would definitely ask Andy for help next time when I have house exterior work.

Up front they were great in identifying that my smaller project could actually warrant an insurance claim; and they were right. Sales rep was great. The construction crew for the roof was great. However, other items like gutters, trim, and windows were 3rd party and they were clueless at communication for scheduling and scope. The problem lied with getting a contract (which they don't do, they just use the insurance documents). Any construction should have a written contract but that went nowhere. They were terrible with scheduling and communication once insurance released funds and work started. Additionally, if I didn't know and push the full scope of the repair line items, I'm not confident the work would have been done. Repairs on trim and windows were forgotten by the point of contact I had for the project. They seemed clueless when I'd call to ask why something (large and small) wasn't done and to ask when it'd be schedule. It was never a straight answer. Overall, glad the work is done, and glad it was covered.

Storm Guard replaced our siding with Indigo blue and we love it. They also replaced our gutter as well. Definitely recommend Storm Guard.

Got a new roof and gutters. Jacob Thomas our sales rep/project manager for the entire project is wonderful!!! He explained everything, answered every question, and texted updates. My only complaint is the foreman for the roof project didn’t bother to talk to me all day and left for a bit. When he came back for the final inspection it was dark and he took 20 seconds to go through it. Jacob showed up on day 2 when gutters were being installed and went through the inspection with me and answered any questions I had. Side note, the foreman for the gutters was much better and introduced himself first thing in morning! Happy with our purchase.

Storm Guard replaced the roof 7 yrs ago when we moved in after a tornado passed through. Jacob did an inspection today after another company said we could replace the roof because of hail last week. He was very thorough and knowledgeable, not to mention being a great guy! Thr roof is only 7 yrs old and the mist recent storm didn't damage the roof, just some small dents in the soft-mental valleys. I have confidence in his inspection!
