Jeff and Chase were very friendly and did a good job patching my damage roof and took on a difficult task on my steep roof . Others were complaining about how steep it was and didn’t want to do the job but they did. Thanks Jeff and Chase.

This was our 2nd time to use Storm Guard. Will P. and Gabe and the entire team made an almost impossible timeline happen. We were supposed to close on our home in 5 weeks when our home was hit by a hail storm. The storm was on Friday and Will came right over on Monday to get the project started. Of course we had insurance involved and Will come back to speak with the Insurance Co.a week later. It needed a new roof, some siding, new gutters and trim around the garage. Will found shingles and siding that matched that didn't need to be special ordered that saved a huge amount of time. Gabe was able to get everything scheduled with 1 day before closing. Needless to say we are VERY Grateful

Terrance Boyce has helped me tremendously in navigating the insurance claim world. From the moment I met Terrance, he was friendly, professional, and gave me the assurance he would help me navigate the insurance claim process due to storm damage to the roof, screens, shutters, and downspouts. He was here when the insurance adjuster came. I look forward to having our work done through Storm Guard. Terrance has been quick to get back to me on any questions I have had. My sister, who is also getting a roof replaced through Storm Guard, recommended them to me and recommended I make an appointment with Terrance. He’s been great to work with. So nice to get a prompt response without wondering or waiting for weeks on end.

Storm Guard was extremely helpful, flexible, efficient and willing to work with the timing provided by the tree removal company to come immediately behind them to secure the roof from further damage. According to my contractor Storm Guard did a great job in securing the damaged part of the roof. No sales pitches for any other services, just insuring no further water damage to the house.

Great experience... very professional company But my biggest impression was how upfront and likeable Terrance ( from the Pacific location) was. He inspected my entire property, reported that he saw no visible damage, had a pleasant conversation with me and gave me his card...will not hesitate to call them again!!

I am very impressed with Storm Guard's quick response time and professionalism. Jeff Crow came out to assess my situation within a couple hours of my call. He explained all the first steps thoroughly. The attention that Jeff has shown let's me know my situation will be handled professionally and properly.

Jeff and Connor came over help with leaking in our roof after heavy winds, rain and hail. They were very responsive and got here within a few hours of my call, checked everything out and tarped the leaking area so we can stop water from coming in. They were very kind and thorough and will be helping us working with insurance going forward. Would recommend them to others!

After a hail storm caused damage to our house in O'Fallon last March, we reached out to Storm Guard. The first 2 guys we dealt with, Will and Mitch, thoroughly explained everything to us and walked us through everything and helped us understand the process including dealing with our insurance company. We needed new windows, roof and siding and all the work was completed within 6 months. Since then, we had a few minor issues and every time we reached out to Storm Guard, they have been really responsive, they get back to us in a timely manner and they come out and fix the issues right away. John has been here a few times to work on things for us as well as Tyler and they both are polite, professional and do a great job. This is a great team of professionals, easy to work with and if we ever needed their help again, we would definitely call them so we highly recommend them! :)

Just had a great experience with Justin Smith of Storm Guard. Went way above expectations on a job I had scheduled for a roof. I plan on using them also for exterior work from recent storm. He was timely and knowledgeable, and just great to talk to.

We had a leak in the attic that was dripping from the roof during storm. We were so lucky to have Brandon Pulley from Storm Guard take excellent care of us! Honest and thorough, which was such a relief. However don’t have new leaks but we know who to call if we do.

Used Storm Guard in 2023 for Storm damage. New roof and gutters and screens. Called and had them come out to access the damage from 3/14/25. Will Pruden came out quickly and checked the whole house. Roof was in fantastic condition, only one small spot!!! Siding and gutters had some minor cosmetic damage and he did not recommend making a claim. They do great reliable work and are a very honest company!! Definitely will be using Storm Guard for all our housing needs in the future.

Justin's quick response time on our emergency siding problem was next day! He is both professional and courteous. We will have him back for future siding issues for sure.

Our homeowner claims adjuster connected us with Storm Guard after our roof and siding needed replacement from a hail storm.
It was a thorough process. Scott Brauer made his own assessment, and educated us on material options, and timelines of the installation process. When the materials arrived, they got to work, and didn’t stop until it was done.
We always knew when they were coming, and what to expect. The roofing team, headed by Rafael, and Tyler often finished after dark to complete their task, and diligently worked on the chimney flashing until it was perfect. What I liked most about this company is there accessibility for concerns, and that they listen. For instance , I was concerned about a drafty rear window. After examining the area, they insulated and wrapped two windows as an add on , in the middle of a large project.
Thanks to Morgan’s effort, our family room is now 5 degrees warmer. It’s been a great experience ,but I have one endearing memory that I think of often.

Scott was patient and thorough in working through the long process and complications we experienced with our insurance company and got approval for all of the work needed despite it being a long list obstacles. He made us aware of insurance changes coming that we weren't aware of yet to allow us to make the best long term choice of roofing materials. Overall, I feel our experience with Storm Guard will be of great financial benefit to us long term, as opposed to an expedient sale for them.

Storm Guard was instrumental in replacing my roof, siding, shutters, gutters and downspouts after the big hail storm last May. They worked directly with my insurance adjuster to make sure all issues were covered. They took care of getting subcontractors, monitoring their work, inspecting their work and keeping me in the loop. They were always available to answer any questions I had and helped me understand all the repairs, materials and timelines. I am very pleased with the quality of the work and how everything looks. I would not recommend this company. I got a roof/plywood replacement in 2023. Then had some bowing in the attic September-Oct of 2024 with shingles showing. Called the company back to check it out. It was covered under warranty and they replace the front half of the roof with more plywood replaced. Now Jan 2025 had to call them back because of a leak in the same room/problem spot. Everyone I have talked to is in such shock of this. Such shock we’re still having issues with now 2 new roofs. I’m in just disbelief with how much we have had to take off work and deal with these issues with having it replaced in 2023. It wasn’t a patch job. It was a whole new roof in 2023. Yes our warranty covered the 2024 issue but this has been a headache! It shouldn’t be like this with a new roof. I’m very frustrated and the lady in the office that you talk with makes it worse with the lack of compassion in a frustrating time.

I had a small leak in my roof due to a lot of rain recently. Justin Smith came and looked at my roof and determined that it would be a simple repair. He came back the next day and repaired it for me free of charge. He also repaired a piece of fascia that the storm blew off the house. Another roofing company told me it was not repairable and I needed a whole new roof. I’m very grateful for Justin being so honest with me and getting my roof fixed up at no cost to me. When it is time to replace my roof I’ll be calling Justin.

I just recently had my roof redone and I used Storm Guard Roofing was the best choice I made. I got a flyer in my mailbox and where I do not usually respond to those, this time I did. Justin Smith was my rep who helped me all through the process and he was great. He always responded to my calls and questions. At the time my family and I were going through some tough medical issues and Storm Guard was very sympathetic to what we are dealing with and got our job done very quickly. Had no problems with insurance and they dealt with them directly. There guys were out here at 615am and done by 2 pm. I still have not found a nail or a little orange thing in my yard. If you need your roof redone Storm Guard is the way to go.

I had a great experience working with Storm Guard for the roof on my house and garage. Trevor, the project coordinator, came by the house first and took pictures and inspected every little detail of damage. Trevor and Scott, sales/production consultant, came back together to go over what they had planned, the estimate, and types of shingles available and all the different pricing. . These guys worked with my insurance company to get things fixed that weren’t noticed by the insurance companies adjuster. I really appreciate the extra mile they went to get this done properly.
The job was completed within 11 to 12 hours in one day right before the rain hit that evening. The cleanup afterwards was amazing. It was very reassuring to have Scott and Morgan stop by a couple of times during the day to make sure things were progressing forward smoothly.

Storm Guard Roofing was excellent to work with. After the hail storm in Wentzville, our insurance company gave us a hard time about fixing everything that needed repaired. Storm Guard was our go-between and worked with us to get everything approved. We were extremely pleased with the finished product. I would highly recommend them for anybody who needs work done on their house.

Storm Guard did a great job of restoring my home after a lot of hail damage this summer. They replaced the roof, the gutter guards and all the siding. Very good detail work on the trim and caulking. I built this house in the early 1990s and I think they did a better job of siding the house than the builder. Justin was also very good coordinating with my insurance adjuster to come up with an estimate that met insurance guidelines. John did a great job walking around the house to verify the work was done to my satisfaction. The staff at Storm Guard was very good about responding to questions I had about this complex rehab.

Patrick and the Storm Guard team were very helpful. I was on a tight schedule because my house was being listed for sale and sold quickly. They got the job done before closing and worked well with my insurance company. I was so impressed with Storm Guard. I had my roof and gutters replaced recently. The roofers were very professional and completed the job in record time. The next day they came back to do the gutters. They were awesome!! My roof and gutters look beautiful now. My husband passed away in February and he wanted to do roof a long time ago. If I could give them six stars I would! Scott and Colten came out on a Saturday to investigate a leak on our condo building. They were very patient and professional. They did their best to evaluate potential areas for water instruction. They fixed a likely spot. Additionally, they found another area that needed to be repaired before it caused a problem.

Review for Storm Guard Roofing & Construction - St. Louis

I am writing this review to share my extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Storm Guard Roofing & Construction in St. Louis. Due to my experience, I cannot recommend Storm Guard for any of your projects.

After severe storms on April 18, 2024, which included 60 MPH straight-line winds and hail, we found roofing tiles in our yard. Several neighboring homes were also damaged, requiring significant repairs to porches and replacements of several roofs.

My ordeal began when Colton from Storm Guard assessed our roof on April 25, 2024, claiming to identify extensive storm damage. He confidently stated that a complete replacement of the roof, gutters, and downspouts was necessary. All of his claims were captured on audio and video by my security cameras. This was very concerning to us, and we were anxious to have the roof and gutters replaced before the next rains. Colton assured us that Storm Guard would advocate on our behalf with State Farm to get the roof replaced.

After the initial assessment, we were scheduled for a second inspection with Storm Guard and Seek Now on May 6th. Again, Colton from Storm Guard reiterated that the damage warranted a total replacement. Despite these assessments, State Farm's statement of loss concluded that the damage did not require a total replacement, which was puzzling since Colton made claims of significant storm damage. Soon afterwards, communication with Storm Guard became increasingly problematic.

On May 24th, Colton stated via SMS: "Hey, I just got off the phone with Rob. Sounds like your agent, who is a good friend of one of our other salesmen, actually got ahold of him and is actively working with us to get your roof replaced. We're submitting pictures to him now and seeing what we can do for you."

However, that was the last we heard from Colton. Despite numerous follow-ups, communication from Storm Guard was difficult.

Adding to our frustration, I CC'ed Storm Guard on an email with State Farm dated June 24th and received a reply from Denise Brauer from Storm Guard which claimed that their records show we had chosen to use a different contractor. This was never the case. We have documented emails, text messages, and an agreement showing Storm Guard’s engagement. It was becoming increasingly clear that Storm Guard was not advocating on our behalf at all. It seems they simply determined their engagement based on the potential revenue generated in the insurance companies statement of loss.

I contacted Rob from Storm Guard on July 9, 2024, and requested a call. Instead, he replied with a text message stating: "Thanks for reaching out. I appreciate the opportunity, but based on the past few months, I'm sure we are not the contractor that pairs up with you. I hope the next contractor matches up better."

As of today, I realized there is no sense in dealing with Rob as he cannot handle a request to talk about this situation by phone. This situation is beyond Storm Guard's capabilities, and they lack the professionalism to discuss this situation directly.

It seems to us that Storm Guard lost interest due to their suspiciously exaggerated claims that were not approved by my insurer. Meanwhile, I'm left wondering if the damage is legitimate and is something to be concerned about.

Storm Guard will claim that State Farm is the issue, but the primary issue began with what appears to be exaggerated claims by Storm Gaurd.

In summary, our experience with Storm Guard Roofing & Construction has been a complete disappointment. Their initial promises turned out to be empty, their claims of damage were suspicious, and their lack of communication and follow-through has left us questioning their professionalism and reliability. I cannot recommend their services at all based on our experience.

I called Scott Brauer with Storm Guard to get an estimate for my grandmothers flat roof. He showed up on time & explained everything to us. Both the roofing and gutter crews showed up when they said they would and were all very polite. They completed the project in a timely manner and did great work.

I highly recommend Storm Guard. They’re honest, dependable and do a fantastic job.
