I reached out to Nick Wyllie with Storm Guard to come assess the damage I had to my home from the recent storms. He was on time, professional, and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend Nick and Storm Guard to my friends and family for any storm related damages or other home repairs you may need.

I needed more information about how old my roof is and how much damage it has for insurance purposes. John Fredriksen came out, looked at my roof, and then let me know how old he thinks it is, the shape it’s in, and was very thorough and informative. Very helpful in taking about what kind of policy I need as well. Highly recommend.

We cannot say enough about Andrew and Storm Guard Roofing & Construction! We had the pleasure of working with the owner Andrew, who personally visited our home to understand what our concerns were and how he could help. Most importantly, Andrew listened! He did not try to sell us a new roof, gutters and more, rather he listened to what we felt were the issues, made reasonable suggestions to resolve our concerns and developed a written action plan to make the appropriate repairs, one we both agreed to!

We had Storm Guard replace our dormer rooftops with metal, replace gutters, install water diversions and more. During each step of the process Andrew would call in advance to ensure timing was appropriate and he then after the work was completed, he would follow-up to endure our complete satisfaction. Once all repairs were complete, Andrew himself visited and met with us to make sure we were satisfied. All this with a reasonable price quote that remained firm.

Great experience with Storm Guard Roofing. We had a piece of soffit come off the second story roof and reached out to them for help with the repair. The next day, they sent out a very kind team member who took care of it in less than an hour. To add to that, they didn't charge us. Great service and communication, and they couldn't taken care of it faster or better.

Very professional and thorough. I had a possible roof leak and John was wiling to come out on a Saturday and inspect the situation. He was the fourth roof repair person that I had tried to get to come out and the only one who showed up. He was on time, knowledgeable and very understanding and sympathetic to my concerns. Will definitely use or refer this company and John F specifically for any roof issues. Hands down absolutely a great experience.

Nick came out to do an estimate. His advice was realistic and helpful. He referred us to a handyman for what we need in the short run. Down the road, this company will be on our call list when/if we need more extensive work done.

Five star service, from a five star company, full of five star people. Our roof was severely damaged in a storm in early April. We got hit around 5 AM that morning. I immediately began calling around looking for a roofer to come tarp our roof to prevent more damage from storms coming later that day. Not only did Andy answer my call at 5 AM, but he had a team of roofers out with tarps within 3 hours to make sure we were water tight.

John was assigned to our job and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with. This was my first time dealing with an insurance claim of this magnitude and John made the process as simple and as painless as possible. He met the insurance adjuster at our house, was an active participant in the inspection, helped ensure that all damage was identified and accounted for, helped us pick out our new roof, and was very patient and helpful as we navigated the payment process with insurance.

It’s never fun to experience home damage due to a storm. And navigating insurance can be a bit confusing and frustrating at times. But John and the rest of the team at StormGuard did an amazing job making sure our home was safe and repaired properly. They even made sure our yard was free from nails at the end to protect our little ones’ feet. It really is the little things.

Our roof looks amazing, and thanks to StormGuard’s quick response we experienced zero internal water damage with is nothing short of a miracle and a testament to their quality of work with how much rain we got between the damage and the roof being replaced. Again, great people, great company, great results. I can’t say enough good things about them. Best company that I hope I’m never in the situations to have to call again. But if I do, they will definitely be my first call.

Professional from the start. Chris communicated well and coordinated a time. Here when he said and spent a lot of time doing a thorough inspection. He fixed the three things he found. Took pictures to show me before and after fix. Chris did all this and did not charge me. I will definitely use them again and will refer to everyone. Had not heard of storm guard before but read the reviews which were really good. Called and set up appt to have someone come look at our roof to see if we had any damage from these storms we’ve had in the last month or so. John was a pleasure to talk to very professional and honest… took about 20 min for him to inspect and explain our roof was good.

John came out and was first-rate all the way. Truly… no sales tactics, great communicator, just a good dude with what seems like a reputable company (in an industry where that’s not always the case). Confirmed I didn’t need to file a claim or anything, which is way better than pushing me to file one and having it denied. Great use of 15 minutes to make sure all was well after a storm.

I can’t even begin to say how much we appreciate this company. Suffice to say another company tried to upsell
us whole new roof (it is 13 years old). I called Storm Guard, they worked us in (roof leaked) the very next day, and it was resolved immediately and at nominal charge. It was a relief from start to finish. Top notch! And honest!!

Tatiana and Chris got me out of a jam today. The wind knocked my chimney clean off this morning and left a big hole in my roof. The weather forecasted a thunder storm with heavy rain for tonight. I needed help and fast. They worked me in and got the hole securely tarped from the ridge all the way down to below the hole to get me through the night. They were both so nice, responded quickly, and wouldn't let me pay them for the service call in spite of me asking several times what I owed. Wow. So grateful to have found them today.

A follow up from the next day. We had tornado and flood warnings, quarter-sized hail, high winds all night. Chris' tarp held up under all of that. Not a drop of water made it into the attic.

Second update. Of course, as great as the tarp was, the hole had to be repaired. Chris gave me a very reasonable quote to not only repair the hole but also replace the other chimney and install a ridge vent. The crew did a great job and left the site spotless. I'm super happy!

John was fantastic; showed up promptly at the agreed upon time, resolved the roofing issue I had. When it comes time to replace the roof John is who I am calling that’s for sure. Stay safe!

Zack arrived at my house on time and began investigating the water damage issue in our kitchen ceiling. After looking at the potential issues, he made pictures of the copper flashing the had been compromised during a recent reroof of our home and provided me with pictures that showed the issues to present to the roofing company for repair. The inspection was done at no charge and his approach to determining the issue was very thorough and professional. I highly recommend Storm Guard for any roof issues you may have with your home

FANTASTIC, HONEST AND THE BEST THERE IS! I had my roof replaced by Storm Guard about four years ago and noticed a leak around my bathroom vent. They came out within two days and found where the vent was there was a crack around the vent itself. Chris went right to work and thoroughly caulked around my vent. With the bitter cold winter we had and the buckets of rain before the winter temperatures had caused this to happen. Chris was SO pleasant as was Storm Guard in a whole when I had my roof replaced. I had a free inspection from Storm Guard Roofing Nashville this morning. I was so impressed with John Fredriksen after inspecting the roof (which did not need work) he took the time to point out woodpecker damage on my stucco. It was considerate since that is not something they do. I would highly recommend them and when the time comes to fix my roof I will call John.

Chris and Zack were outstanding! They took the time to listen to the details of the problem, examined the whole area of the problem, and suggested a simple solution rather than a large, costly one. They did warn me that while they expect what they did will work, we won't know if we have to try something more extensive until the next heavy rain. Still, I really liked that they discussed it with me openly and suggested the simpler route first.

The entire staff were excellent to work with, they explained the full process, provided details for all of the available materials and packages as well as called me in advance to make me aware of their installation dates. Will definitely use them again

Found Storm Guard Roofing on Google among other roofers and Storm Guard stood out. John was very professional, quick with replies, flexible with his time, and honest. I had another roofer who provided false information, just as an example. The Storm Guard crew did a great job and even replaced the flood lights for me! There was a small damage caused to the deck due to full roof repair but Storm Guard will be taking care of that as well. Overall, had a great experience and would recommend John and his team to others.

You know it is hard to find reputable companies like Storm Guard that care and do good work, But when you come across someone like John Fredriksen who is both knowledgable and genuine you just cant go wrong!

John Fredricksen was very helpful in the entire process of accessing shingle damage, getting insurance to cover the costs, scheduling a timely and complete roof replacement and following up afterwards. Very satisfied with John and the whole Stormguard team.

Our roof was coming to the end of its life and had some wind damage. I called up storm guard and John F. came right out and did an initial inspection and informed us what was wrong and the entire process to get a new roof. He was very patient throughout the entire ordeal with insurance, took almost 4months. But any questions I had. John was quick to respond to them. After insurance agreed. The roofers were out within 3weeks and completed the roof and even came back and touched up areas. Entire process was simple and knowledgeable on my end as being a home owner and the first time getting a roof replaced. Only thing I would advise, is they will give you an entire estimate brake down initially, and then when it comes time to sign on the dotted line to get your roof replaced, they automatically charge an $800-$1000 “up charge” on the kind of shingles they use, that wasn’t included in the estimate. So we were very surprised with that since it wasn’t already in the quoted estimate. Kinda frustrating if you ask me.. but we Learned a lot through this entire process. We have recommend them to a few of our friends already so hopefully they have gotten the privilege with working with John and his entire team through storm guard.

2025 Update: Another great experience when a piece of fascia board had come loose in the breeze and I needed it fixed the day before a big storm! John was dispatched for a quote, and didn’t hesitate to get out the extension ladder and climb up to the second story eaves. He hammered the stray piece back down and didn’t charge me. Definitely calling these folks when I have real damage!

2024 Post: Very responsive company when other folks wouldn’t even call back! I needed a minor leak tracked down, but James took the time to check the rest of the roof for any other problems. Since my repair turned out to be so simple, he did it himself at no charge! Will definitely have this company back next time my roof needs work.

Fixed up shingles from storm damage. Came out next day during a time when everyone was booked out well in advance. John was professional, prompt, and gave excellent feedback about the overall state of our roof. Will call them again when we need our siding and windows replaced in the future. -- Edited because I have used them again this year and John was helpful as always! I though I needed the roof replaced, and he assured me everything looked OK. They won't sell you something you don't need just to make a buck and I would trust them with any of my home projects.
