I had them stop by for an estimate over 3 years ago and decided not to move forward. Since then, they’ve kept calling even after telling them politely “no thank you”. I’ve had to block their number bc they keep calling after several years of telling them to remove me from their list. Today they called from a 540 number. I had to tell them again today. Something isn’t right w this company. 09/08/25: I Updated my name so you can find it in your records and this review can stay and now you proceed to keep calling. Stop the harassment please.

The crew arrived on time and completed the work in one day even after suffering a midday heavy wind and rain storm. They cleaned up everything at the end of the day and came back to ensure they picked up all bagged debris.

My husband and I engaged Stoneridge Outdoor Living to install our deck. They came and gave us an estimate which was fair and reasonable. They performed the work within 3 days and by the next week our deck was completed to beyond our expectations. We enjoyed working with Stoneridge, specifically Matt Hamilton and his crew. They were very professional and left our yard immaculately.

It's rare in today's business atmosphere to find a reputable business that is reasonably priced and stands behind its workmanship. We found that in Stoneridge Outdoor Living. They check all those boxes and more, so if you're looking for a company that delivers exceptional quality and craftsmanship at a reasonable price in today's market, give them a call.
A special thanks to Matt, for an exceptional deck that we'll be enjoying for decades.

My new porch is both beautiful and safer.Working with the gentlemen connected with the entire project was stress-free. Explanations were clear; but MOST importantly they listened to my concerns and addressed them immediately. Yes, I would recommend Stoneridge to my friends.

Logan was professionally focused on my project so I am thankful for his clear knowledge and presentation during the sales portion.
Matt was awesome as well always on time took plenty of notes and created a fine design for our almost 100’ deck. He was always available and a good communicator. The project went really well as he was firmly in control of the build.
Jose and Marco were the framers of the deck and these two men were fantastic to work with very affable. Zac handled all permitting and was great to keep us updated on the status of things with county. Another really good communicator.
Our inspector complimented the team on this fine successful build.

Stoneridge was very fast in completing the renovation to our porch. Our porch is now beautiful and reflects our style that we have used for the rest of our additions to the back yard beatification. The quality of the workmen ship was excellent. The on-sight manager was great to work with. The Trex materials we selected, and they installed are such a great improvement over the cracked and damaged builder's materials that were here when we acquired the house. We are considering another project with Stoneridge in the future.

Had a patios put in at my house ! They did a fantastic job ! I requested they expand the patio during the Construction. They did it with no problem or complaints. The workers that came to the house were respectful of me and my yard/property. Couldn’t ask for a better experience! Definitely 5 stars. Photos attached!

I was initially excited to work with Stoneridge for my patio project, as they seemed like a great fit. My initial consultation was pleasant and I decided I wanted to move forward with this company from this interaction. However, the experience quickly turned frustrating due to communication issues and delays.

Before even signing a contract, I had trouble getting updates on pricing and a Statement of Work, even reaching the right people felt like an unnecessary struggle. Every step of the process required extra effort on my part, which made me question how smooth the actual construction would be. If it was this difficult just to finalize details, I could only imagine the potential headaches down the road.

In the end, I decided to go with another company that was vastly more responsive and understood my project questions and concerns. While Stoneridge may do good work, the lack of organization and responsiveness made it clear they weren’t the best choice for my project.

Our experience with Stoneridge Outdoor was very positive. From the initial consultation with David, the Sr Designer, through to Matt, our Project Mgr, and the installation crew, everything was completed to our satisfaction. Stoneridge was able to work with the existing structure to minimize extra costs and ensured that our objectives were accomplished. Overall, great value compared to other service providers we considered. We recommend their services.

I advise anyone seeking to have an estimate done for a back porch project to avoid Stoneridge Outdoor Living. I made an appointment to get a ESTIMATE of work we wanted done. The representative came to our home and he seemed to have his spill all planned out. He was somewhat pleasant at first, but then he became very pushy and obnoxious. He expected us to make a almost
$20,000 decision on the spot and seemed annoyed that we did wish to make a contract with him. He demanded to know if we had any intention of having the work done. We told him we would like to discuss it. He demanded his brochure back and said he would not send us a email with the proposal. At that point my husband was feed up and told him to “get out of here”. We don’t have to take crap from people to take our money. There are other companies out here. The representative name was Bart. I’ve read another complaint about him. If you decide to get a estimate from this company, ask for someone other than him!

We had a patio installed by Stoneridge Outdoor Living over the summer, and the entire process was quite frustrating.
Initially, I reached out to Stoneridge for an estimate. The salesman was punctual, which was a promising sign. He was friendly, not overly pushy, and arrived as scheduled. This was encouraging. I was informed that all personnel working on the patio would be Stoneridge employees, which was a significant selling point for us. We decided to move forward with Stoneridge; the salesman collected our deposit and brought in a project manager to take measurements and get the process started. Up to this point, everything seemed to be going well, but this is where things began to fall apart.

After Stoneridge received our deposit, communication deteriorated significantly. We received no information about our options for colors, patterns, etc. We had to reach out repeatedly for weeks to get this information. When we finally received "options," they were merely screenshots from his phone of the website they used for sourcing concrete colors and stamp rentals. I was able to piece together a URL from the screenshots and visited the website directly to find what we liked. Considering this job was in the five-figure range, this lack of communication was unacceptable.

We eventually selected a couple of colors and patterns. Despite asking our project manager many times for customer examples, we never received any. My wife and I ended up Googling patios to find patterns and colors that appealed to us, which made it challenging to compare the options provided. Ultimately, we had to choose a color and pattern without any examples, relying solely on thumbnail images from the concrete supply website compared to what we liked on Google. Did I mention we were paying well into the 5 figure range for this?

Once the design was finalized, a different project manager was assigned, and the project officially began. He was punctual and walked us through the process, which restored some of our optimism. After we made the next payment, we were given a start date for the work. Unfortunately, when that day arrived, no one showed up. I called the project manager, who informed me there was an issue with their equipment and that they would arrive the following day. This was the first instance of no-call, no-show. The next day, the same situation occurred; I called the project manager who stated they had a job running long, marking the second no call no show instance. Perfect. Did I mention we were paying well into the 5 figure range for this?

When the crew finally arrived, they were efficient in completing the work. However, I was disappointed to discover that they were subcontractors, contrary to what the sales representative had promised. Although we were already invested in the project, it was frustrating to realize we had been misled. The crew worked over a couple of days and did a reasonably good job.

While we like the appearance of our patio, the attention to detail was lacking. For instance, water puddles at the bottom of the stairs, indicating improper grading, which is extremely frustrating. According to our agreement with Stoneridge and any quality construction, this should not have been the case. Additionally, the crew left concrete splatter on the siding of our house, which looks unsightly and is very difficult to remove. Did I mention we were paying well into the 5 figure range for this?

Once things were said and done, the project manager was going to come by and get the final payment, and install a handrail. Agreed on a day and time. No Call No Show number 3. THREE times we were no called no showed during the course of this project. The redeeming quality here, and the reason for 2 stars and not 1, is that the crew doing the work was very friendly and completed it in a timely manner.

In summary:

-Disappointing Experience
-The final product is decent.
-Communication with this company is poor.
-The service received was very expensive for the level of quality provided.
-They were on time whenever money was being exchanged

We are excited over our new sun room that was formally a lanai covered deck. Within a few days of our initial call We were visited by their design specialist, and eventually decided to complete a formal enclosure vs. screen. Stoneridge helped with our neighborhood association, and ordered all of the custom panels to complete our enclosure. Within a few weeks they arrived, and over 4 days completely changed our open deck to an extension of our home enjoyed by us all (especially our cats). Thank you to Stephen Sears our site manager, and all of the crew that created such an impressive addition to our home.

Stoneridge has been a pleasure to work with from begining to end! My senior designer Austin was able to show me CAD designs with different options at his visit to our home and gave exact detailed pricing for each idea. Within a week my project managers Stephen and Curtis were at my home to get exact measurements for my custom windows and doors. My installation crew Jay and Austin were amazing to work with, they paid great attention to detail, were very respectful and were wonderful working around me and my 5 big dogs schedule. My pups approve of their new dogroom/sunroom. Thank you guys for going above and beyond and keeping me informed every step of the way!

We are very pleased with our outdoor patio motorized screens that Stoneridge installed for us. From the start of our project meeting with Dave showing us the products available to the completed job with the project manager Nick, it was a pleasure working with them. We were also impressed with the guys Curtis, Jamie and Ryan that did the installation of the screens. They were very professional and did an amazing job. We are enjoying our outdoor patio so much more now with the screens. Thank you Stoneridge.

I have tried to reach out by phone and email about our sunroom but cant reach anybody. This whole project has been a headache for my family. They never came back for a walk through as promised. Their construction supplies were left here. We have had issues with a leaking roof. They "fixed" the issue but after a thunderstorm today it is leaking again. We also had a window put in backwards. After reaching out to the project manager he said he would fix it...That was 4 months ago and nothing was done. I didn't want to write this review, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but I can't anymore. As much money as we paid for this sunroom, we expected better quality than this. If I could go back, we would use a different contractor. PLEASE someone reach out to me so we can resolve these issues and make it right!

This review is based on an on-site estimate only: sales was too aggressive and a little shady.

I scheduled an estimate with the company and it was strange from the beginning -- they requested that my husband be home to make the "joint financial decision", as if I (a working woman past 30 and co-owner of the house) couldn't make the decision or payment on my own. Also over the phone the sales told me they're running a 15% promotion, more to that later.

When the estimator Bart arrived he would not walk through our front door until I fetched my husband, which was awkward. Then after a rather long sales pitch he tried to make us decide on the spot, because apparently that 15% promotion is broken down into 5% for posting a review", 5% for staking an ad for them on our front lawn, and 5% for signing with them on the spot. Given this is the first estimator that came we had to say no, and then a week later we received an email saying they've came up with more cost saving measures, which is rather shady. Also I must mention even with the initial 15% discount, the price they quoted us is more than 30% above the next highest estimate.

Overall I think their sales style is more for people of an older generation... and if you book an estimate with them I certainly recommend saving them for last, so you could get that 5% discount :)

Stoneridge Outdoor Living is great!!
Dave Carper listened to what we wanted and made very insightful observations based on what we had and what we dreamed.

Very professional, great communication skills. BIG plus.
Matt Hamilton, the project manager, is a great communicator and easy to work with.
Zac Shulman, the coordinator, kept us informed throughout the process.
The work crew did a great job. The balcony looks great.

Dec 16, 2023

We contracted with Stoneridge Outdoor Living to extend part of our outdoor elevated deck and build a sunroom leaving enough outdoor space for outdoor grilling. They listened to what we had in mind and about what needed to be in the design review application for our HOA. Consequently, it went through without a problem. Jay Moody, the project manager was great. He was easy to work with, knew the building codes, knew everything about the project and he always returned calls as soon as he could, even when he was sick. Every worker on the site was very polite and considerate and knew his job. We did have a problem with some permits slowing us down a bit but all was worked out. At one point we were not satisfied with how a light fixture and fan were mounted and when I sent pictures to Jay, it was quickly taken care of to our satisfaction.
We love the sunroom and have had many compliments on it from our neighbors and friends. Would we use Stoneridge Outdoor Living again? Yes!

Let my significant other go right before the holidays because he was late once and because they listened to drama. They did not give him any reason why other than saying it was a no call no show because he did not get back to them until a couple hours later that day due to the fact he fell asleep from helping stay up with an infant all night multiple nights in a row! Terrible company! I would not recommend working here unless you want to deal with constant drama and lies and company who does not care about their employees or their families!

We signed a contract to replace our kitchen deck on July 25th. The contract says that work would begin within 30 days of permits being issued, and completed within 30 days of work being begun. Stoneridge's representatives collected a $2185 advance on the $7286 contract from us. The permit application they submitted was denied by Jefferson County, West Virginia due to major deficiencies in the application. I don't know what drawings, if any, they submitted, but the permit was denied because county needs detailed blue prints of the project before a permit may be issued. The person apparently in charge of getting permits represents that he has contacted the engineers to get the required drawings created. It has been over a week since the rejection letter, and still no drawings. Because there has been no permit issued, no work on our deck has been performed. After nearly two months of collecting $2185 from us, we want to know why there are no final plans from their engineering team, especially given that Jefferson County requires the plans before a permit can be issued. The person responsible for getting the permit whines about the unfairness of Jefferson County expecting project plans that conform to building code be submitted with permit applications, instead of knowing what the requirements are in advance and fulfilling them. He now blames the engineers for not having project plans after nearly two months. Stoneridge Outdoor Living is sitting on $2185 of our money, and they have done nothing to earn it. Given other reviews I am seeing on here, I am highly concerned about the quality of the finished product we will receive once they do decide to work. We were planning to use them to renovate our front porch next but will not do so given this experience with our kitchen porch.

Initially this company was great. Scheduling to get an estimate was quick and easy and customer service was very nice over the phone.
The headache started when the construction began. We had agreed on an ALL Trex deck with Trex railing. We told the salesman more than once Trex railing was what we wanted when he tried to insist we get a cheaper alternative (Wolf railing?) but we said "no, we want all Trex because we get a discount through our employer." We said this on two separate occasions, once at the first meeting and once again with him and the project manager.

We signed the contract thinking we were getting what we had agreed on but when the materials came they delivered the wrong railing. The project manager told us the salesman did not write Trex railing in the contract so we would be charged an additional $3,000 because the "Trex railing is that much more expensive". Trusting him we signed the change order and gave him the money to get the correct railing.
Once the project was finished we were given an itemized list and found that the Trex railing was only around $1,800, and they also included the materials for the incorrectly ordered Wolf railing which was barely any cheaper than the Trex railing. We expressed our concerns that the $3,000 extra we were charged was incorrect and that we had been charged for both the Wolf and Trex railing but our concerns we disregard despite the fact we now had the prices right in front of us.

Not only were our concerns about the cost ignored but we noticed the day after the project was completed the deck boards dipped in spots where the joists were not level and it also collects rain water in the dips. We tried to express this issue with the project manager, Matt, and got no response back, so we left messages with the warranty and service department - no response, emailed the permit coordinator with pictures of the deck and also concerns about the price not adding up - also no response.
About a month and a half after the deck was completed I was finally able to get through to a customer service representative who said they would ask their supervisor and get back to me as soon as possible and I still haven't heard anything, it's been over two weeks since then.
I'm just very disappointed in this company. My advice to anyone would be to get quotes from other contractors before signing a contract and if you choose to go through them make sure you get an itemized list of what you're paying for.
The deck overall looks nice, it's definitely an upgrade from what we had before but the wavy boards and the fact I think we were overcharged are my main concerns.

Update: 2 weeks since they've responded to this review and still no one has reached out to try to resolve this issue.

The crews of workers did a fine job when the project finally started, each time they arrived and worked on the project. Our sunroom is now completed and beautiful. We did have to address upper levels of management over problems with communication and unexpected delays both long and short. What we thought would be a 3 month project took 13. Once we did reach upper management they took time to listen and discuss with us the reasons for the problems. After initial contact the delays were fewer and farther in between. Management was attentive to our concerns and recommendations. If they can proceed in future projects with improvements in communications and use foresight about possible unexpected delays, we can recommend this company. We now have a beautiful sunroom that our family and friends will be able to enjoy in the years ahead.

Stoneridge replaced the upper deck boards with Trex, wood railing with a powder-coated aluminum Trex Signature product, & vinyl trellis skirting.
I am very happy with the final product. The price was higher than I expected, and for that price, I expected excellent workmanship. I did get that workmanship, but had to reject several attempts at steps & spots where piecing had to be done.
The project manager, Curtis, was great to work with & was not satisfied until I was. Overall, a great experience & I would gladly use again.
