After completing some minor roof repairs at a rental property, I decided to use Starline Roofing again for a new roof, gutters, and bay window metal roof at another townhome. During every step of the process: contract, material choices, job estimate, date/time to complete work, and tenant coordination, Jostin Tencio provided exceptional customer service. He was on-site both days of the job and provided before, during, and after job pictures to include a finally with drone videos. He is an excellent communicator and is now on my preferred contractor list.

We needed a repair for a cracked roof boot and Jostin was so wonderful and easy to work with. He explained everything with great detail and recommendation on service. He did a quick fix with no incentive because of impending rain and that went a long way for us. Importantly, he didn't push anything unnecessary, giving us quotes for required service and recommended. Very communicative and friendly and he was recommended to us by a neighbor. Our contractor helped us navigate the claims process with our insurance agency, tarped up the missing shingles on his first trip up, and returned to assess our roof with the adjuster. We noticed a leak in our roof a couple weeks ago. We called a couple of local roofing companies and were suprised that many didnt want to work on our house because it is 3 stories. We contacted Starline roofing and spoke to Jostin who was polite and responsive. He came and checked out our roof quickly. He went into the attic then flew a drone over our house to check the damage on the roof. I found this strategy really helpful because we were able to see the damage and talk through repairs, versus just hearing about it. He gave me a qoute the same day. The pricing was fair and the work he wanted to do was thorough. His plan was to replace the vent covers as well as the flashing and roof shingles around the vents. This, in my opinion, not only fixed the current problem but also will prevent any similar damage for years to come. Other quotes explained that they wanted to recaulk the vents . Though this may have fixed the problem for a short time it would have been a matter of time before the caulk failed again. Overall, I was really impressed with Starline's professionalism, speed of response and thoroughness. Jostin was very personable and answered any questions I had. When it comes time to replace our roof, in many years from now, I will use Starline Roofing!

I’m not sure I have enough good words for Justin. Outside of being incredibly patient and fair he took the time to troubleshoot an issue 4 contractors before him missed. He was timely about updates and stuck to his word and timing as we went through the repair. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Jostin was really responsive when I called about my roof siding falling off because it was going to rain. He was able to come over and also noticed that some shingles had fallen off and that a bird had built a nest in my roof. He also was able to fix all those issues. He seems very honest and pricing was really reasonable.

Jostin and Starline Roofing were absolutely incredible. We reached out after melting snow identified a fully collapsed portion of our roof and water coming into our home/streaming down the dining room walls. We called on Saturday afternoon and Jostin came out the very next day to assess the situation. He quickly identified the problem, applied a temporary fix while he collected materials, and had our roof fixed within a week for an extremely affordable price. He was even able to fix another spot on our chimney that was beginning to look problematic and recommended someone to help us with the interior work that needed to be done as a cause of the leak. Jostin is excellent. He replaced a gutter for me and fixed some siding issues where it was leaking into my home. Not only is he skilled and do a great job, he is very polite and professional. Jostin has recently handled our roof leak. Despite the day being a holiday, he surveyed the area immediately and come up with a plan very quickly. He stood around until issue is completely understood. He also gave his professional opinion about other issues with the house, age of materials and what to expect in the next years. Jostin and his company are absolutely wonderful. I heard about them through a neighbor and he was able to come out and assess the damage from a fallen tree on our house the same day I called him! Further, he helped me get the branches off and sent me a quote for fixing the damage within a day. I am glad to write a review about Starline Roofing, I had my 24 year old roof replaced, I also had the gutters replaced with the gutter shield included this time, they also did some repairs on the siding of the back of my home. I used Jostin to repair/replace some roof flashing that had been damaged during a storm. He responded promptly when contacted, charged a fair price for the work and, removed all the debris when he was finished. I used Jostin a second time to install gutter guards and replace some siding on the house. If I have another need to hire Jostin, I will not hesitate to do so.
