Star Roofing did work on our roof in the fall of 2024 as we were seeking to stop leaks. The work came with a warranty that is still in effect, and the work was $5,000. Shortly after the work was done, we experienced another leak. We let the team know and they came out promptly to do additional caulking. After that, we continued to have leaking, and at that point the team refused to return many calls and voicemails, even despite the warranty being in effect.
Today we had a new roof company come assess the situation. They said the caulking work was done cheaply, and the reattaching of the boards left the boards loose. We are getting this fixed but if it doesn't stop the leaking, we have to get all the work done over again.
This was a really disappointing outcome since Star Roofing was recommended by a neighbor. So beware shoddy work and no answers when you call in your warranty. There was no indication that this would be the case before, during, and even shortly after the service.
After a couple of tries, Paul fixed a roof leak that had puzzled two other roofers. Very responsive and on time. Highly recommend.
Very happy with Paul and his guys. They did the job fast they were clean and the price was very fair. Great quality materials he was on time and did everything in his quote plus some extra stuff to make sure it was perfect.
