I hired Hunter to repaired my garage due to pipe busted. I read his reviews in the past and it seen to be the right person. I was very disappointed with his workmanship. I read great reviews about Star City Construction and decided to call them to get a quote for finishing my basement. We scheduled a time for the owner to come out and give us an estimate for the work and he didn’t call or show up during that time. I texted him to see if he was still coming 20 minutes after the agreed upon time and never received a response. It was unprofessional to not send a text or call canceling the appointment. Work schedules were adjusted and time was wasted. I’m sure this company does great work based on the reviews, but unfortunately I did not have a good experience.
I was very pleased with Hunter and Star City Construction. We planned to redo a kitchen and master bath in the summer of 2021. I started to reach out to contractors in the spring to get things going. Hunter was prompt about returning my call and coming out to our house. We were pleased with all aspects of their work in the kitchen and bath. We were very pleased with the tile work that was done (Thanks, Emma). Each day before they left, they made sure the house was clean. I would high recommend Star City Construction.
