After experiencing challenges with other roofing contractors in the SW Washington/Portland area, working with Luke and Joe at Stanley Roof and Solar was a refreshing change! From the initial consultation to project completion and cleanup, their team was punctual, professional, and communicative. We especially appreciated the photo documentation including pictures from a drone. How cool.

They prioritized our project and scheduled us quickly upon discovering active leaks, ensuring timely replacement. When an issue arose with our rotting patio overhang that required structural framing repairs, they provided a discounted repair option, which we greatly appreciated and didn't require bringing out another contractor. The quality of their workmanship is evident, the roof looks excellent and was completed correctly. Additionally, they took the initiative to resolve issues left behind by the builder that did not properly install the shingles on a flatter portion of the roof, rotting out most of the plywood on our attached patio roof and causing a lot of mold on our insulation.

Fairly priced, their work has been complemented numerous times by the neighbors, and the cleanup was perfect too. While they were not the least expensive roofing contractor we interviewed, they offered the best combination of materials that came highly reviewed, as well as a lifetime warranty. Based on our experience, I highly recommend Stanley Roof and Solar to anyone in search of a trustworthy roofing contractor! First time replacing a roof. I don't have much of a reference. There was good communication. The job was well done, but I am no expert, and it has only been a month or two since the roof has been installed. Nice to see before during and after drone photos. It would have been better to also take photos of all the bad plywood that were replaced. Also, it could be a little better at cleaning after installation. Overall, good.

Had our roof replaced this week due to emergency roof leaking. Wasn't planning on doing the roof until spring but the waterfall into my daughter's bedroom necessitated an immediate solution. We had snow this week too, which snow and roof replacements don't really go together. That said our project manager Luke did a phenomenal job of showing care and concern for our home and our worries. The team did an outstanding job keeping things water tight and was able to immediately fix the water ingress to the house. Within 2 days, just as the snow was starting to fall, they got the roof finished and everything picked up. Our initial concerns about replacing during winter weren't an issue and actually allowed us flexibility to get the color we wanted and a good price. We are super excited and happy with our new roof and the warranty we received (lifetime malarkey roofing and lifetime workmanship from Stanley.)

We recently had the crew from Stanley Roofing & Solar out during some vicious winds because we are located in the gorge. From the very beginning, Joe came out and gave me a very detailed estimate and discussed the necessary roofing materials needed for this area. He was very professional and thorough. Our experience with Joe from start to finish was so professional and all as promised. His quote was detailed and pretty complete and included nothing but quality materials. We did have an additional charge, but it was because it only became known after removing the shingles. It was appropriate and he sent pictures to support it. My husband Jesse, and our 2 kids are newer to the area having relocated for work from Spokane. We just wanted to thank Stanley Roof and Solar for getting our roof replaced before the heat in august. The guys worked really hard and it was done in one day. Didn't interrupt the boys nap time too bad and the cats endured!

Coming from Eastern Washington we didnt quite know what to expect with contractors on this side of the state. We are second time home buyers and reluctantly had to leave our first home for better job opportunities. Which really sucks because it was just the way we wanted it. Anyway, our new home needed a new roof because the previous owners cheaped out on old roof tiles and it was leaking after 8 years. We think our inspector was wrong because the shingles used weren't even made 8 years ago. They're an old style. Ive found out the inspector probably confirmed wrong information he got from the homeowner because most of the roofers said the roof was much older than 8 years old. I got 6 bids but ultimately Stanley won out because of their attention to detail and material warranties. Their work also had the best warranty and lifetime on the roof tiles. Pricing was right in the middle and they offered us some free upgrades to the material too. Metal attic exhaust vents instead of plastic which was huge to us. On the east side of the state the plastic ones just don't last as long.

Wouldn't hesitate to use them again but I hope I don't have to. Now if anyone has a plumber recommendation.....

I got a bid from Joe (the owner) for a roof replacement for my rental property, an 1850 sq. ft. townhome in Vancouver. Joe was responsive, timely, and professional with his bid. He gave me a fair bid and was able to sufficiently explain his bid process and price justifications. Stanley Roof uses a locally-manufactured shingle that is a significant step up from builder-grade quality. His bid was in the same range as other roofers, yet he offers a better shingle, better quality roof accessories, and a solid workmanship guarantee.

Once we signed our contract and I put money down, he started right away with shingle delivery. He was up front with the timeline for completion and was able to stick to the timeline with ease. He texted me pictures along the way to show me what kind of wear I had underneath my old roof. Joe's crew had to do some minor structural repairs on an eve and gave me a great rate for the work and materials. The final price was only a few hundred more than the estimate since he had already included 2 sheets of plywood in the original estimate.

Luke did some repairs for us and added a new attic vent. Process was quick an easy, estimate was fair. Not the cheapest but the warranty and reputation was better than the other company. You get what you pay for

The fellows were timely and efficient. I was very pleased with the quality and timeframe they were able to get the job done in. Julio was very informative and helpful in selecting the best roof for our needs. The roof was started and completed quicker than the original time frame and for that, we are pleased. We hope to never have to purchase another roof again, but if we do we will be using Julio and Stanley Roofing- Please give them a try!

They also put new screens in the vents under my house so the racoons couldn't back under there. And again they did a great job. I will recommend them to all my friends.

Joe contacted us immediately after he missed our initial call. He came over same day to give us an estimate. We decided to go ahead and have them install our sun tunnels and Joe ordered parts same day. They were delivered 2 days later and installed that same day. Joe was very quick to let us know every detail and Richie stayed late to finish installation in one day. I will call them in a few years when our roof needs replacing and recommend them highly. I needed to replace my roof and Joe at Stanley Roof and Solar was one of my bids I received. (A friend of mine has used him for the past two years for both commercial and residential). His was the only bid that was itemized, and they are a family owed business and use their own crew. Since I lost my husband I was making this decision by myself and had a lot of questions.
Joe was available to me whenever I had any questions and put my mind at ease that my roof would be done correctly. I have over 80 linear feet with a lot of valleys and different pitches (12/12 and 6/12), so a very difficult roof to do.
The pipe boots they upgraded to LIFERIME warranty ones, not the galvanized cheap ones that are most commonly used. The shingle is Malarkey Vista AR with a lifetime warranty. The labor warranty is for 12 years and includes a 12 year leak free guarantee. (the other bids were for only 10 years) They used a dump trailer to get rid of the old shingles, this is superior to dumpsters that some companies use , as it does not damage your driveway. They tarped off my property including my flower beds and deck, and cleaned up every night . They left my property and roof looking way better than before.
I would totally recommend this company and will use them in the future for any other project I may have.

We had a very difficult job. Other roofers could not handle it. Even after they started they ran into problems and Joe handled them very well and professionally. In the end, the job cost less than I had anticipated and they did a fantastic job.

Good experience. Joe was excellent -- answering lots of questions and sourcing the shingles we wanted when supplies were limited. The installation was quick once their was a break in the weather. Would recommend!

The materials they used are high quality and the workmanship is excellent. I received regular updates with photos throughout the entire process, so I was able to see progress on the roof as it happened. Joe was very knowledgeable about how to address the problem areas on my roof and bringing them up to code. If you don't use Stanley Roofing and Solar for your project, you are making the wrong choice. I don't ever write reviews, but they deserve the accolade. They were timely, efficient, friendly, overly helpful, and have gone above and beyond to help us with our project! We had comp & metal roofing removed, excessive repairs of plywood and fascia, new comp installed, questions about our membrane deck, special order skylights...on and on. To the extent that I called to have more fascia replaced, in the midst of the busy repair/leaks season, and I have a crew at my home less than 24 hours later. Really above and beyond - thank you to Joe, Tara, Matt, Jon and your hard-working, killer crew! I will be hiring them for a new comp roof on an investment property in the next few years. They do outstanding work and I fully feel I can trust their work. While the bid was not the lowest of the two, the warranty was outstanding and that was worth paying extra.

We received about 5 quotes before choosing Stanley Roofing and Solar to do our roofing. They were reasonably priced, but not the lowest. We chose them because of the time and care the owner spent in explaining their materials and process. The warranty was also a big draw. The materials we choose allowed us to be eligible for the lifetime warranty which gives us peace of mind.

Before our roof was replaced, we had a leak - their staff came to the house within hours to tarp the roof, free of charge, since we were already scheduled for replacement, and we had no further issues until replacement.

The replacement job itself was a breeze - the project was completed in 2 half days, by a very organized, professional crew. They did a great job with cleanup.

All staff I interacted with via email, in person, or by phone, were prompt, courteous, and friendly. We're so glad we chose them, and recommend their work without hesitation.

We hired Stanley Roofing this winter to replace our twenty year old roof that was starting to leak around the pipes coming out of the roof. They came highly recommended to us by numerous neighbors on nextdoor. While we did get two other quotes for the work we ultimately decided on Stanley Roof for a few reasons. One, their quote while not the cheapest, included higher quality base layer and a better warranty included in the cost of the roof. The other two reasons is their patience and professionalism. My husband and I are hard of hearing and often repeat the same questions. Jason, the representative was very helpful and made sure we understood and helped us with our questions and to understand the different options. We didn't feel pressured into making any quick decisions but we knew we had to due to the weather and rain leaking down our wall. The last option why we choose them is because they also do solar. We would love to install some in the next three years as the prices come down more. Its been about a month with our new roof and we are ecstatic! The leak is dried up, the wall is fixed and our new roof looks so great from the curb. Being elderly, I couldn't get pictures on the roof so I asked the contractor to send me some. I will try to attach to this review.
