Had a really great experience working with Jack Robinson and Steve. They gave us a fair price and the work was good quality and done in a timely manner. The crews were very respectful of our property and ready to answer any questions, as well as, the project managers. Highly recommend them for new roofs, gutters, trim, fascia, and doors.

I had used Standard Builders in January 2020 to put siding on our home. They did an excellent job. I contacted them again in June 2023 to install guttering on our house and metal wrapping on all the wood facia around our porch. I met with Donny. He quoted me a fair price. I paid half down and he estimated 3 weeks to start. They got started a few days ahead of schedule, which was good news. Mason and his crew did an excellent job. There were a couple points of confusion that were caused by my lack of effective communication, not theirs. Once I was able to clarify my problem and concerns, they went above and beyond to alter their course and accommodate my situation. They were friendly, professional and accommodating. I know there have been issues raised since the company changed ownership. I witnessed nothing that concerned me at all.

My wife and I had saved our money for several years for a remodel before retirement. We decided to use Standard Builders because they were an actual business and had high hopes for good results. There were several areas of our home that needed attention, they told us confidently they could complete the job in one, possibly two weeks. They told us they were approx 2 to 3 weeks out from starting. We paid half up front 6400.00 and the wait began. Being patient we waited 2 months without a word from them. I made first contact at 2 months and was met with excuses of " we cant keep our help they keep quitting" and the foreman being sick for weeks. But was assured it would be soon. I suggested ordering our countertops in case of a lag time, he came out and measured them and told us he would order them first thing in the morning and get back with us. 2 weeks went by with no call, ao again I called them and was told "I have been meaning to get with you to measure where the sink goes" I will come by and get that measurement, 5 days later again I called and talked to Donnie Collums who said he would get back with me in the morning. Again 4 days later the foreman called me and just said they would not be able to work me in and they would refund our money. So we were now out 3 months and have to start over for their incompetance! Do not trust their time frames, I cant vouch for any work because nothing was ever done. Donnie Collums was not even concerned over losing a customer so that tells me how trustworthy they are. Hopefully nobody else gets treated like this, I know I will do a better job of reading reviews myself
