We are very glad to have ST Evans as the principal builder of our new composite deck. The father and son team, Scott and Clayton, and their subcontractors, are not only professional and competent, but also very helpful, friendly and easy to work with. Scott and Clayton took time to assist and advise us in the deck design and also in selection of cost-effective materials. During the execution of the project, they communicated well and responded fast to our questions. The finished deck looks amazing beyond our expectation and we won’t hesitate to recommend ST Evans to family and friends for similar high-quality home improvement projects. Scott Evans and his crew have been amazing from beginning to end. The pics are at 98% complete. Still needs some dirt power washed off but that is about it. He offers great suggestions to the project - the rock accent wall was one of his ideas and really made the project look great. They built the deck, built the roof over the deck area (the old deck had no roof). Soctt is really good with communicating and answers his phone and makes sure everything you want is done. Very happy - the neighbors saw their work and just hired them to their deck as well.

Very satisfied with the quality of materials and customer service provided by ST Evans. In some areas we opted for upgraded products, which cost more, but in the end are well worth the extra cost. We have additional work we want to have done, and we will not bid around. We will simply ask ST Evans to do the work.

These guys are amazing to work with. They did a great job on our concrete slab. I just can’t say enough good things about them!

Got a new roof replaced in August 2020, Company did a very good job. Probably only complaint or should I say concern was there was a communication barrier between workers and homeowners. Company should always have at least one worker on site who can speak English

ST Evans did a HUGE job remodeling and renovating our house. We dug out a new basement and added two floors on top of it. There were snags along the way, some human error and some not, but they handled each hurdle with complete grace and ease. When so much is at stake it is amazing to have such thoughtful and capable people on your side. Plus, usually I hear about contractors being difficult to work with and not returning calls. Scott and Clayton returned our calls and texts usually within the hour if not ten minutes later. I recommend them to everyone who asks. And our house looks amazing.

This August our church was interested in getting a cost estimate for an ADA restroom addition. Even though we were not going to start construction until mid-2025, ST Evens provided a very timely and detailed cost estimate. Thanks, Scott

Scott and Clayton did my siding project. They were very professional leading me thru what should be done. Their crews were experienced in what they do. They were punctual and took the time to cleanup the sight daily. They delivered exactly as promised. I would definitely rehire them.
And feel comfortable recommending them to anyone.

My wife and I just recently completed a massive home addition project with ST Evans as our GC. The project nearly doubled the size of our Clayton home, spanning three floors including adding onto the basement. Besides the high quality of the work, the attention to detail, and their professionalism, what we liked best about ST Evans is that they are good, honest people. What that means is they were very responsive, usually getting back to us about any concerns within the hour, at the latest later that day, and they stood by their work. We had heard a lot of horror stories about other general contractors essentially ghosting their customers or doing shoddy work. Our experience with ST Evans was exactly the opposite. We can't recommend them enough.

We got so lucky to have Scott and Clayton as our contractor to build a large porch. They came and fixed a messy project and delivered excellent results. From dream to reality, you can’t go wrong with them. Genuinely good people who care to do their best for customers!

Great experience with a quality contractor that does what they say they are going to do which is hard to find these days. You can also trust to get the job done correctly. I called ST Evans because they were nearby and had a top rating online, and I wasn't disappointed. They were responsive, fair, worked me into the schedule right away and the workmanship looks great. I will work with them again.

Clayton, and Scott are top notch contractors. Their quality, and communication is really what sets them apart in the contractor world. They handled a framing repair job for me where a tree fell through the roof, and they were extremely good about getting out there in a timely manner to do the repairs. There was also some very old siding that that was damaged that I thought would be impossibly to match. Clayton, and Scott came up with a game plan to make it happen, and they did great. I cannot speak more highly of this contractor. They handled framing for me, siding, fascia, and painting on my project. They also handle roofing, additions, remodels, and much more. Also, if you are looking to install siding make sure to ask about their LP siding product. They are one of the most experienced LP installers in the area, and LP in my opinion is the best product you can go with on your property. 10 stars for these guys, but google only let me leave 5.

ST Evans has worked with many of my real estate clients and I've always had a positive outcome. They stay on top of communications and very easy to work with. Steve and Clayton both are very knowledgeable about their work. I highly recommend them.

Recently resurfaced our deck. Did a great job. They went above and beyond to ensure the deck was strong and sturdy to put the new boards onto. The work they did was polished with good detail and didn't break the bank. For example: Noticing our dog chewed some of the old painted J channel and replacing it with new trim pieces so the siding looks better with the new deck, can't want for better attention to detail than that. As a newer home owner we appreciate them helping us through our first big project and now we know who to go through for our next one.

I hired another contractor in June, 2020, to totally redo my front porch. That arrangement fell through. After interviewing 3 different contractors, i chose ST Evans because I felt Scott and his son were sincere, professional and friendly. The project was completed in a timely manner and the result is gorgeous!! I was most impressed with how well they communicated with me. I have referred them to several friends...one couple has signed a contract with them.

They did a great job! They installed a weightbearing beam and worked with the architect to make sure everything was done properly. I would highly recommend!

We spent COVID redesigning the facade of our house. ST Evans Inc. did a great job recreating our design. Scott and Clayton as well as all the workers were very professional and provided excellent customer service. This was a large outdoor remodeling project that included new roof, new LP Smart Siding, soffits, fascia, gutters, garage doors, side entry door and front entry door. Scott and Clayton had exceptional knowledge of the LP Smartside product which allowed us to use Diamond Coat canyon brown color for the window trim while doing the rest of the siding in the LP Expert Finish. They paid attention to all the details we wanted with great care. They stayed engaged throughout the project until every punch list item was completely addressed. The google maps photo below was our house in 2010. By 2020 the shutters had warped and were removed shown in the before pictures. We love the look of the new terra brown siding with the white trim and desert sand board and batton.

We highly recommend ST Evans Inc. for any home improvements. We had our deck replaced and added a large patio and sidewalk, small wall, fire pit and new exterior French doors. We are very pleased with their work. We had a delay in getting the concrete poured by the subcontractor, but that was due to the overwhelming demand for concrete for projects during the global pandemic summer. We've lived in our house for 30 years and decided it was time to have experts review and update the work we've done on our large 30 x 20 two story deck. After reading several reviews we called ST Evans and Clayton Evans came out and gave us his recommendations, which made sense, so we had him give us a bid, which was right about what we expected. Mike Perez then came and introduced himself as foreman of the project and took measurements to order supplies. We endured a couple weeks of weather delays this spring, understandably with heavy rains almost daily. Once the project began Mike and his assistants Brandon and Tim came daily for a week, including weekends, to finish the project. Mike appreciated our patience during the delay, and did some additional work free as a thank you. Once started the entire project was completed in the time promised, exactly on budget.
Upon completion the site was cleaned completely, old deck hauled away, and everything look beautiful. It not only fixed the upper structurally, but opened additional space below. We are very happy with the results and look forward to using them again on our next project.

Both the process (no surprises cost-wise, tidy job site, polite crew, timely completion) and the result (good workmanship & materials, great-looking finish) were top notch. One detail from the project needed follow up. They stayed in touch about it and fully honored their commitment, but it took a long time to resolve - otherwise 5 stars. Scott did a complete remodel for me..I got multiple bids from multiple contractors and Scott was the most reasonable contractor around. His guys were the best! Really great customer service. I never bought anything from ST Evans, but they provided me great insight into the landscaping/renovation market to help me and my family make the best decision possible.
