We had a hail storm in May of 2024 that finished off our roof, and punched holes in our siding. We knew we were going to need a new roof, and did not want to use a storm chaser company from out of state. We called Martin with Barr Roofing & Exteriors. Martin worked with us, and our insurance company to get all the funding necessary to restore our home. He replaced our roof, all of our siding, gutters, and downspouts. It looks amazing, like a new house! He does excellent work at a reasonable price and his crew is fast! They knocked out the siding in one day, and the roof in one day! Martin genuinely cares, and is a man of integrity. He'll make sure all the details of your job are done right, and to your liking. He will communicate with you all the way to completion of the job. Nowadays its hard to find people you can trust, or that will even show up to do the job. We are completely satisfied with our new roof, siding, and gutters, and do not regret our choice. We recently had Martin and his team do a whole house siding job for us. We replaced the original siding on our house, it was cheap contractor siding that wasn't really installed all that well. We had it replaced with high quality foam backed vinyl. Worked with Martin to add some nice trim features. He was very patient as we changed our choices a few times. The install team was awesome! They did a great job and cleaned everything up when finished. Would definitely use Barr Roofing and Exteriors again.

Martin was the most impressive contractor I have ever met. He put a new roof on my house in 2020 and in April of 2023 an F1 Tornado hit my house and destroyed my siding fence and property causing 30k in damage. NOTHING was damaged on my roof. Everyone in my neighborhood had missing shingles and a damaged roof. Even my next door neighbor whose roof was 3 months old had to be completely replaced. I was the only house in my subdivision who didn’t have any damage to my roof. The quality work you get with them doesn’t compare to anyone. Not only are they the most knowledgeable in the business they have the best customer service. I would recommend them to anyone. They have reasonable prices and beat a lot of people on price. However the main reason I would use them is the quality workmanship.

I'm remodeling my 44 year old house and one of my goals was to install a new roof. I had intended to do the work myself, but a medical emergency changed that. Martin Barr gave me a quote without having to wait and changed his schedule to help me. His crew removed my old roof and installed the new one including a ridge vent in one day. The work is immaculate. I couldn't have done it myself any better, and I am an avid do-it-yourselfer. The ground cleanup was better than I expected. My property was cleaner when they left than when they got here. If you need an honest roofing contractor, do yourself a favor and give Martin a call. Highly recommended.

Wow…..great workmanship, great communication, punctual workers. Hired them to install a new roof. They did such an outstanding job hired them to redeck and reconstruct an old 25 year old deck. They installed composite, hidden fasteners, lighting as well as shore up some problem areas in making sure the deck was level. Even installed a metal shield over a light that was on the patio under the deck. Tracy did a fantastic job and always looked out for our interest making suggestions on a better way to do things. Never imagined how good the deck could look after metal railings, lights, composite. Martin, the owner, is hands on and a perfectionist. Very helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Plan on having more work done in the spring.

Our experience with Martin Barr and Barr Roofing was first rate. We were in the market for a new roof and gutters for our 60 year old house that had several leak issues as well as an odd addition that was put on years ago. A mish-mash of flat roof and shingles that was just a mess.

We got multiple bids and Barr Roofing was very competitive. But the real thing that stood out for us was the responsiveness and communication with Martin himself. Not only was he timely and responsive to all communications, Martin never tried to upsell us on things we didn't need.

Martin was very good to us. He made a couple of trips for repairs and was always professional and completed the work quickly and was quality work. We needed to replace our roof and he meet with our insurance company to discuss and show damage we had incurred from a bad storm. I am reducing my rating to one star after originally giving a five star review. The remaining work done on our home did not meet the same quality as the roof. Our windows were capped shut and were unable to be opened along with other issues. The widow issue was resolved after an extended amount of time and at the time of this review we do have unresolved concerns. Unsatisfactory experience overall.

Kitchen renovation at it's finest! Martin and his team transformed my old kitchen into modern and fancy. My wife and I are ecstatic how the renovation turned out. It was night and day comparison. Great experience with Martin Barr! He was very detailed & complete when helping us select our materials for a big siding project. We were trying to match the existing look of the house, including trim colors, & deck support posts. He was very easy and enjoyable to work with. His communication with us was excellent. We were very impressed with the amount of time he spent planning our project to make sure it was exactly how we wanted it. His crews did a great job and he personally made sure it was all done properly and completely. They rebuilt some outdoor steps and were even able to match the railing to the existing deck railing. He returned to make sure we were happy with the finished job and even returned again to review a few questions we had. We could not have been more pleased. He seriously cares about customer satisfaction!

From start to finish Martin Barr was great to work with. We had to have a roof replaced due to defective shingles. He helped in getting the process done....taking pics, paperwork, and samples to send in. Always took time to answer any questions that we had and kept us up to date on the progress of the job. Barr Roofing and Exteriors did an excellent job replacing my vinyl siding, Facia and gutters. He really does treat you like family from day one. Once you commit to hiring him, he is in contact with you every few days just to let you know where your job stands. Once the job starts, he is in constant contact with you and inspects the progress and quality of the job numerous times. He truly does take pride in his work and wants everything to be to your satisfaction. After the job is complete, when a small issue was found, he got his crew out the next day to fix it. He is an honest and quality contactor and I would hire him again.

I’m really glad I chose Barr Roofing & Exteriors to put a new roof on my mansard style home. I wanted to sell my house but I knew the old roof could be a deal breaker. It was was pretty old and a real eyesore to the neighborhood. His crew did an amazing job replacing it and it fit like a glove. I got several compliments from neighbors. The house sold fast. I cannot rave enough about the service that I got from Barr Roofing. My experience was the best that I've had from a company in a long time. I've been so gunshy in the past from using reputable places that turn out to be not so reputable. Barr roofing was the best company that I chose to go with and I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly and easily they did the job and their cleanup was spectacular, meaning i did not find any left over debris laying around after they were done. The clean up was as if they were never there. They gave me pristine service. Great customer service from the beginning of the first call until the end, I felt like I was a good friend and not just being catered to for money. They care!!!!

I recently had a new roof installed by Barr, and I am extremely satisfied. First off, the roof itself looks great. But there were a lot of other things that added to my level of satisfaction. Martin, the owner, is very conscientious, and goes out of his way to make sure you're satisfied. Got a question on a Saturday night? He answered my email with a call right away. Worried about the mess? They cleaned up everything, and even sent out somebody the next day to inspect the roof and go over the grounds again looking for debris. His crew was very professional, and Martin was very good about calling and keeping me apprised and what to expect at each step of the process.

During installation of my roof, an unexpected rain storm rolled in. They got the unfinished portion of the roof covered with a tarp. But the rain got in their trailer and leaked rust-water onto my newly sealed driveway, leaving some rust spots. Things happen, and I don't blame Barr for this. But when I told Martin about it, he worked with me to try different solutions for getting the stain up. I tried power washing it, and he sent a guy out to try power washing it also. But for whatever reason, the stain would not come up. Martin arranged to have my driveway re-sealed. Not only did they cover the stain, but the driveway looks better than it did before. I have a lot of admiration and respect for Martin for making sure that things got fixed and that I was satisfied with the result.

I don't think I've ever had as good of experience with any kind of contractor, and I will not hesitate to recommend Barr to my friends or to call them when I need other work done.

This company is awesome. I dealt with them during the start of the Covid-19 mess and they worked with me through it. Very quick and great quality.
