St. Clair Ace

St. Clair Ace is such an asset to our small town! The staff are so very friendly and truly go out of their way to make your experience the best!

Editing my prior review and adding 2 stars. Same store but today saw 3 new workers that were more than helpful and quite knowledgeable . A 2 star improvement over my last visit. If they are there the next time I visit they will get the final star.

I experienced great customer service after my custom paint was not right, they kindly took the time to help make it the right color. I appreciate the employees patience, maybe manager, in taking time to help me!

The young lady quickly helped me, and took good care of a veteran seeking a fishing license. Other staff took me right to what I needed.

Very nice store. Recently renovated. Staff are extremely friendly and willing and eager to help you find what you need.

It is under new management, Monique is the new manager and is doing a fantastic job. I highly recommend this place for all of your needs, they treat you like a special customer.

THE PLACE WAS A NICE PLACE TO SHOP, A BIT HIGH PRICED FOR ME, BUT NICE OTHER WAYS. THE PLACE WAS CLEAN, PROPERLY DISINFECTED, HAD LOTS OF CLEANING SUPPLIES, BUT THE PRICES WERE A LITTLE TO MUCH FOR ME. ESPECIALLY, WHEN YOU CAN GET THE SAME IDENTICAL THING CHEAPER DOWN THE ROAD. IT WAS NICE, THE EMPLOYEES WERE VERY NICE AND RESPECTFUL, AND THE PLACE WAS VERY NICE LOOKING. THE CLIENTELE WERE NICE TOO, BUT USED TO PAYING THE HIGH PRICES. IF I DID NOT HAVE A CHOICE,THEN, IT WOULD BE OK.

Idea...love the store...not sure why the nice ,awesome gift ideas ,Michigan Made products etc...are in parking lot entrance and not an entrance off inside mall to catch customers etc..store has more potential loved to see it it succeed.Its

Great place for St Clair! Nice and helpful employees, clean and well maintained store. They have saved me from having to run out of town on many an occasion. So glad that we have them in our town!

Ace is the place of the friendly hardware man.......and women.Each person working here are friendly and knowledgeable of what and where anything is in the store. For real.

Always have what you are looking for and very friendly staff. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name that helped me

Shop employees are two very friendly and grandfatherly old men. They showed us where everything is and were very helpful.

Lmao who are they paying to write these reviews for them?! I went in and bought a drill bit that was suppose to be good for getting stripped screws out... Well the drill bit DID NOT WORK. ... So like any normal person, I politely returned the item and explained that it didnt work. Kathy then says loud enough for me to hear across the counter "I can't even re-sell this." First of all, she shouldn't want to sell a defective item to the next customer. Second of all, how unprofessional. Third of all, if the product isn't doing what the product states it does- why would I be responsible for paying for it? I politely said "It's completely fine if you don't want to return it, as long as I get the number for corporate." All of a sudden I was "allowed" to return the item... I assumed that would be enough but Kathy went on to literally toss the item directly into the trash in front of me, I guess proving a point that the item wasn't "able to be re-sold"... VERY RUDE, I actually LOVE LOVE LOVE everyone at the Richmond Ace Hardware store and would recommend you make the 20 minute drive there! They are eager to help you, they stand behind their products, and would NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS get away with what Kathy did.
