We will never use another company for exterior work. Spruce Exteriors replaced the siding on our house. The kindness shown by the team working our house was exceptional. The materials were high standard.
The work was well done. The final bill was less than the estimate. My husband and I are already making a list of what else we can have done by this company! We will always recommend Spruce Exteriors to anyone who asks.

Matt and his crew did a great job rebuilding the door frame. He had to come in and build out a poorly designed area that led to leaks. He was able to come up with a solution and made the area look great. He didn't even mind working around the grumpy pug.

Matt is an honest, respectful and reliable construction owner. I have used him and his crew for siding, windows, sliding patio door and roofing. All quotes were very reasonable and fair. Matt is quick to respond when I had questions and he offered some advice on colors and quality of the materials. His crew is punctual and clean up after their work. I love the way the house looks with the color combinations.

Matt and his team were awesome! We had bad hail damage to our roof and vinyl siding. The roofers arrived on time and were very hard working and thorough with their cleanup. Same with the siding crew. It was nice working with one contractor (Matt/Spruce Exteriors) for the entire job.

I researched many companies before choosing Spruce Exteriors to re-side my house in 2012. Matt and his team did a tremendous job at a great price, and left my property cleaner than they found it. Last month I had a roof leak due to some shoddy work of a different roofing company that resulted in some rotted soffit on the second floor. Matt had a team of roofers out in a day to diagnose and repair the roofing issue and replaced the rotted soffit later in the week after giving me time to paint the new plywood and vents. Within a few days my house was fully repaired, and at an excellent price. I would never use another company for siding, roofing, windows or gutter work.

We've had a great experience with Matt and his team at Spruce Exteriors on three separate projects. They did a siding replacement, exterior painting and roof replacement for us. Matt always communicated in a timely manner and the work was always done when he said it would be. We found his pricing to be competitive and we've not had to have any aspect of the work redone. Our 2 story house was built in 2000 and the builders used the crappy pressboard siding that is no longer manufactured because it's so awful. It was beginning to rot and the joints were coming loose. We had no choice but to replace it all. My husband is fully capable of doing the job but working full time and every other weekend it would take months and would be more of a headache. It's also hard for him to let go and let someone else do work that he can do so picking a contractor wouldn't be easy.
We asked for recommendations on FB and picked a few contractors on our own to meet with and to obtain estimates. Upon meeting Matt from Spruce, my husband knew they would be our choice. Our job included tearing off old siding, wrapping the house, hanging Hardie, painting and hanging new gutters.
Matt is personable, easy to talk to and it was apparent that he cared just as much about the outcome of the work as we did. He didn't seem to mind my 101 questions, used terms I could understand, responded to emails very promptly and when not as expected such as on the weekends and in the evenings. Matt met with each crew (and us) multiple times to ensure every detail was accounted for and done to our specifications (and his expectations). NOT ONCE did we feel frustrated, a lack of communication or have any regrets on our selection.
Choosing a contractor is an ominous tasks and with this big of a project not only from a work perspective but a cost perspective, you want to make sure you choose wisely, and we certainly did! Whenever we talk about the "big house project" we also include how wonderful it has been to work with Matt and Spruce Exteriors!

Just had my roof done and I have to say, it may have been the best experience I've ever had with a contracted job. The owner, Matt, bid the work and was my contact all the way through. And the communication was outstanding, I knew exactly what was happening from start to finish. Quality of materials and crafstmanship was top notch, the crew finished quickly and my property was spotless when they left. One of these days I'll need to do the same with my siding and there's no question who I'll be calling. Thanks Matt!

Emailed for bid on repairs to water damaged OSB on back of house under deck. Originally they responded that they were booking out to November and I may want to check elsewhere, but soon after they got back to me that they had someone they'd worked with that could sub-contract and get the work done quick. Met with the owner for bid that came in good...did a great job explaining what needed to be done. Sub-contractor and one other crewman from spruce came out and got the work done in half a day! quick, clean, professional and great! I understand the original email about being booked out...this late in the year it's hard to find contractors that aren't overbooked. Would definitely hire again and you should too!
